Ok, so I have a Nauticam housing and using 2 Nauticam float arms from the housing to the strobes. It seems that I have to tighten down the clamps so much to get the arms to stop moving and there's not much left of the clamp to turn (spring is about all the way compressed). Looks as though the O-rings are in good shape with no cuts or damage. Has anyone else had this issue, and if so what's the solution?

Hi Folks. I was fortunate enough to place third in Intermediate Traditional Macro in this year's Monterey Shootout, and my prize was a brand new in box Ikelite DS161 strobe + battery. Unfortunately, I am not an Ikelite shooter. However, I do want to parlay my winnings into replacing my very very temperamental Sea & Sea YS-D2s (non J). To be clear this is the strobe head + 1 battery together in the box. I will happily part with the strobe+battery for $900 USD shipped to the continental US. I can do PayPal or Venmo. For Sale: In "AS-IS/USED" Condition- 2 Ikelite DS 125 Strobes and Sync Cables Both turn on in the Test mode as shown in the photos. Included is one single sync cable, and one Y-shaped sync cable to connect the Ikelite strobes to a bulkhead. Batteries for both are functioning, and I have the chargers for both. I purchased these used off E-bay a few years back and upgraded my system so am looking to let go of these. I also have a few spare o-rings for the sync cords that I will throw in as well. I have been using this housing with a Canon 5D Mark IV. The Canon EOS 5D Mark III, 5DS, 5DS R DSLR Cameras will all fit in this same housing. I am selling the housing for half the price of a new one. $850.00. This housing is in perfect working condition and has Ikelite’s TTL circuitry installed along with the port for the vacuum pump (you will have to purchase the pump separately) and Ikelites bulkhead strobe connection. The handles and tray are brand new and have never seen the ocean. I have many ports (domes and macro) and extensions for this housing and can include any or all for the same half price offer (Ikelites prices are listed on their website ikelite.com). I am in Hawaii and will charge actual USPS insured shipping rates. -

Aloha, Recently purchased a Nikonos V and interested in what strobe options you all recommend. Currently, Im looking at purchasing dual SB105s with the Nikonos tray and sync cord. Alternatively, I already own two modern Ikelite DS160s I routinely use with my D810. It appears Ikelite makes a Nikonos sync cord. From there I would have to adapt my Ikelite dual try to accommodate the Nikonos. I would prefer the later option, unless; however, there is significant reason to keep it Nikonos-Nikonos. Thank you in advanced! -
Hi friends, I'm considering a Sony A6500 in a Nauticam housing, but I have a lot of doubts about the strobes. 1- I want to use my actual Ikelite strobes DS160 and DS161. It seems the TTL will work only with fiber optic cables, am I wrong? 2- If that is true, there is no Nauticam led trigger to avoid the recycle time of the internal camera flashlight. Do someone knows if the Fantasea one (http://www.fantasea.com/s.nl/it.A/id.748/.f) will WORK and FIT into Nauticam A6500 housing?? 3- If in the future i want to replace the Ikelite strobes for Inon Z330 or Z240: can I use the same fiber optic cables? do i have to purchase anything else? Sorry if someone thinks these are silly questions, but I'm coming from a Nikon reflex, Ikelite housing and wired strobes, so I'm really lost in the compatibility setup, changing EVERYTHING. Any answer will be very helpfull for me, thanks!! Albert -

Hello guys, I need some advise on how to remove a bulkhead cap from my ikelite bulkhead. Seems very tight. I'm using a mini vice grip/tongue and groove plier to remove it but somehow when i leverage the pliers, the entire bulkhead moves , not just the cap. Please help . Thanks Dan
