I also have: 6" dome port #5503.50 macro port #5502 Each item is well maintained, complete and working - ready to use UW. I am happy to sell the whole set or individual pieces. I have changed to full frame a long time ago and I would like to give this one away for a fair value. Please make your offer via PM.
  3. Hello: I wonder if there is more people using this case; I can not believe I am the only one with such bad luck. Let me explain myself: Last September bought an Ikelite housing for Canon EOS M3, it was an upgrade from a canon G7X with a cheap Canon housing. I can nottell how much I regret updating to this case. I am on an 8 month trip around southeast Asia, came without testing it first (my mistake) and once I got to Bali I found the MF/Left button did not work, whenever I pressed left button the ISO (up button) would come instead. This button is needed specially to change focus point position. Other problem the case had was when going deep 30m/90ft the case became unusable ( the 60m depth rating is a joke), like the back plate was being pushed inwards by water pressure jamming some buttons, like if they were being pushed all the time. Last year I took my cheap Canon underwater case to 50m with no problems at all. I have to say that Ikelite was very comprehensive and accepted me to return the camera from Bali and sent it back to me to the Phillipines free of charge, also they gave me a zoom gear needed. They tested the case with the camera they have and said after adjusting the camera holding plate it was OK. Only problem is they returned the case with the same problem, overall the case works better now but MF button still does not work. I told them this but they did not answer back. In my opinion the problem is caused by the substandard and poorly designed back wheel, it would be OK to find this piece on a cheap chinese case but not on a 1000$ Made in USA case. If they had used something similar to the back wheel on the Sony RX100 or Canon G7X case I feel there would be not problem as the push buttons are completely independent from the backwheel. Newer EOS M5 and M6 cases do not have this back wheel; is like they knew this wheel is problematic and yet they still kept on selling it, I think they should not. Now on top of that some small grains of sand have started to build and sometimes the push buttons get stuck. The sooth surface of this buttons makes getting them out almost impossible underwater. after having seen other cases like Fantasea and even Meikon the buttons have irregular shapes that can be grabbed more easily. I guess the only thing I can do is wait until I get back to Spain and send it together with my camera to have it serviced and then just get rid of it...If I sold it the way it is now I would feel like I am robbing money. If I was back in Spain I would also ask for a full reimbursement. I am also thinking of getting an EOS M6 case instead as it does not have this back wheel but just thinking of investing more money on ikelite makes me sick. Now I have to spend one more month in the Philippines, going next to Sulawesi and Raja Ampat with a camera I can not properly use. It is kind of ruining my trip. Regarding the camera I enjoy the EF-M 11-22 a lot, only the corner quality is quite bad with the 6" dome and the 28mm macro is quite crisp but a bad choice. WD is so short that at 1X it focuses inside the port; I added a CM-2 and I can get to do 0.5X. I should have opted for the EF-S 60 I also own. I also have the 15-45 with me but I do not like its performance neither in the dome nor in the macro port Regards Javier

  5. I'm a traveling glamour photographer shooting models on beaches. We were going to a remote dive resort in Fiji so I bought this complete set-up last month for their famous tiger shark dives. Didn't get enough free time to do more than 4 total dives with this rig (2 tank shark dive @60', 1hr pool session filming the models doing Discover Scuba class, 1 hr shore dive filming models doing first ocean dive in Discover class). Overall I don't see myself dragging this case around to many other events, I just have too much above water gear to begin with and for lighting I really do enough video it makes sense for me to have video lights. This kit is as PERFECT as you can get, here's your chance to get a complete rig for half of what you'd normally spend! 100% functional and perfect cosmetic condition. Housing works with the Canon 5D mkIII, 5DS, 5DR and the latest 5D mkIV models (must install the included rubber washer kit). Some of the pieces below have not been used at all (like the flat port assembly I bought to do macro stuff with my 100mm macro lens, only was too busy all week working on above water model shoots to do the nudibranch dives!). Here's what you get: Ikelite 6871.03 Housing for Canon 5D Mark III (5D mkiv with included kit below) Ikelite 5510.45 8" Dome Ikelite 5510.35 Flat Port Assembly Ikelite 5509.27 Standard Zoom Clamp/Sleeve Ikelite 5509.28 Special Zoom Clamp/Sleeve Ikelite 4070.01 SA-100 Arm/Single Cord Kit Ikelite 1061.1 DS161 Strobe (x2) Ikelite 4067 Li-Ion battery (x2) Ikelite 4067.1 Li-Ion battery charger Ikelite 4080.02 Double Ball Arm Ikelite 4080.05 Compact Ball Arm Ikelite 4080.06 Ultralight Double Ball Arm Ikelite 5510.28 Port Ikelite 5510.22 Mod Port Ikelite 5510.11 Mod Port Ikelite 4103.51 Single TTL Cord (x2) Ikelite 4103.52 Dual TTL Cord Ikelite 9295.02 update kit mkiv (can be reversed and used for mkiii) Ikelite 945.01 Strap Wrench for port Ikelite 200.5 Flat port Neoprene Cover Owners manuals, warranty paperwork, lube, gaskets, tools and spare pieces all included, even the original boxes and padding each came in! As a bonus, I also have a 3rd party dome housing for a GoPro Hero5. Good to about 15' deep, it's an acrylic dome with a housing for the Hero5, floating handle and removable trigger system that allows you to capture amazing 1/2 below water shots. Perfect for snorkeling or pool work (we used it to film new divers going through their Discover Scuba dive). Also a Pelican 1615 Wheeled AIR case with foam cut for all of the above (total weight with everything above in the case is only 38 lbs!) with a little bit of room to spare for extras. Total cost for everything above (obviously, the camera body and lenses are not included!) was around $9,000.00 new. Asking $4,000.00 obo. Might be willing to separate a few of the generic pieces and case if you're just looking for the housing and already have your own lights. I'm in Philadelphia, PA USA, willing to ship worldwide at buyers expense, or meet anywhere in the greater Try-state area at no charge. PM your email if you'd like higher res or additional pics.

  7. I am selling a complete underwater video setup for $250 plus shipping. Camera: The camera is a Canon HF200 1080HD video camera which includes 3 batteries, all of the cables and remote control for playback. Included with the camera are 2 32gb memory cards. Housing: The housing is an Ikelite 6091 housing. This housing allows access to all of the camera control, most importantly manual white balance. It also includes the external red filter. Additional Items: In addition to the camera, housing and port I am including a Canon WP-V1 housing. The camera and housing show some wear but they work great and have never been flooded. The system brakes down small to to fit in a backpack which can be carried on to a plane. If you are interested or would like more pictures please PM me or contact me by email at eric@mfg-technology.com Ikelite WP80 Video Port.pdf
  8. Happy New Year. A friend of mine is looking to buy a used Ikelite housing for the Nikon D7100 camera. If you are selling, please contact me. Thank you! Brandon tel: 509-535-3489 e: brandoncole@msn.com
  9. I have two used Ikelite DS161 Strobes/Video lights up for sale. I purchased both of them used last spring 2017 from Ebay. I used them both less than 10 times (probably more like 4 times) and realized that they are just too unwieldy for instream photography. I recently bought a Retra strobe and I think that the size is a bit more what I am looking for. So I am now trying to offload these two Ikelites. One of the strobes has some cosmetic wear from the previous owner (see pics). The other strobe is in great shape. Both strobes are fully functional and operate well. Both have battery packs, sync port covers (metals screw caps) and both have the 1" ball adapters. However, I only have one diffuser and one charger. Looking for $1400 for the pair - shipping and PayPal fees included. PayPal or local pickup in Seattle, WA. For feedback - Ebay: iakona808 FredMiranda: Jsatoshi My website is JasonSChing.com -Shoot me a message on any of these if you'd like me to confirm. Thanks for looking! -Jason

  11. Doing a little closet cleaning and found a few more items. Prices include PP and shipping to the CONUS. Will consider other locations at buyer's expense. You can find feedback for me over on Fred Miranda where I have bought and sold plenty of camera gear over the years (search Josh Rackley). Let me know if you have any questions or would like to see more images. Item 1: Inon UCL-165 M67 (67mm thread mount). Excellent condition. I actually don't think I ever used this, but lets say a couple dives at most to be safe. $100 Paypal’d and shipped. Buy with the below lens adapter (item 2) for $120. Item 2: Ikelite 67mm Macro Lens Adapter for 3.9" Ports. Excellent condition. Part #9306.82 $30 Paypal’d and shipped. Item 3: Ultalight arm adapter for a UK Light Canon light. Excellent condition. $10 Paypal’d and shipped. Item 4: Ikelite housing for Canon G12 and G11. Includes Ikelite housing, dual tray handle, single tray handle, BOTH a Canon G12 and Canon G11 (both fit in the housing), 2 wide angle dome ports (# 6430.4), 4 canon batteries (one didn’t make the pictures), 2 chargers, and 2 diffusers (not pictured). One WA dome port has a scratch about 3/8", could possibly be buffed out but not 100% sure as it’s a little deeper than the other port, and the other has a few minor scratches that could be buffed out, but don’t recall them effecting image quality. Never flooded and never leaked. Has a few niks and scratches from a few years of well-loved use. However, I haven’t used this since 2015 when I got a DSLR (also for sale in another post). I kept it for backup but it has stayed in the closet. It was last serviced by Ikelite in February 2013. Cost of that service was $113. I would highly recommend it goes in for a service before using it since it hasn’t been used in a while and I can’t guarantee the integrity underwater, so selling cheap. It may be fine and you could give it a try with no camera. $350 Paypal’d and shipped.

  13. Hey, With the holidays approaching, I thought i'd repost my two systems. Although I did have a lot of interest with my previous post, no one committed and I thought it would be best to post more pictures and give a full list of what is included with each. Ikelite 5D Mark III Kit General: First and foremost, I have an Ikelite 5D Mark III housing that also has a DL 8inch Dome Port and Vacuum Pump with Gauge. This housing is unused but I did open the box. I wound up getting lucky and purchased a Leo II housing so I am sticking with that and trying to sell the Ikelite. I am asking $1900 for the system (paid $2200). Specifics: 0123.45: O Ring 8245 - DL Port - Ultracompact 0123.61: O Ring 8261 - DSLR 0458.2 4077.02: Right Quick Release Handle and Extension 4077.93: Shutter Trigger Extension 5509.28: Universal Zoom Gear UP to 3.0 in Dia 47011: Vacuum Pump with Gauge 71702: Canon 5D III IV 5DS® Housing DL 200Ft 75340: DL 8 Inch Dome Port Equinox Canon t3i Kit General: Also, I have a heavily used Equinox housing with the standard port for a Canon T3i. I am also including the Canon T3i (with two batteries and the charger) without a lens. I am unsure of the quantity of actuations on this camera, but it is quite low (i'm going to estimate approximately 10K). This system is not for a professional but rather for someone who is interested in getting into underwater photography and wants to learn. The system never flooded and is super easy to use! I am looking to sell it for $700 (housing + camera body) or Best Offer. If you are interested, please message me. Specifics: Equinox Housing for Canon T3i 1 Dome Port for standard 10-22mm lens Weighted handles to facilitate proper buoyancy and maneuverability Canon T3i 2 x Canon T3i Batteries Canon T3i Battery Charger Thanks so much, Craig

DS-51 Strobe: $400 Flex Arm: $20 EV Manual Controller and Cable for DS Strobes: $50 Tray with Release Handle: $30 Package: $450 All in all this setup has been in the water probably 8 dives, 4 of which were freshwater. 17. Hi, I am having issues getting sharp corners using the combination: Camera: Sony A6300 Housing: Ikelite Dome: 6 inch dome (5516.12) that is recommended by Ikelite (there is another 8 inch dome recommended too) If you see samples attached, they are shot at f8.0 and still show quite soft corners. I have been reading forums and tutorials, and I found 3 potential solutions but want advice before I invest in more gear required to test them 1. Get a bigger dome - there is an 8 inch dome from ikelite that fits this lens too. Not ideal as I have to purchase ANOTHER dome and its bigger and makes CFWA a bit harder which I like to do 2. Decrease aperture size more, like down to f12 or something - didn't actually test this during my trip because I didn't process the pictures until after, but f8.0 seems to be small enough based on what I've read from forums? 3. Get a close up lens - does not seem to have trouble focusing, but could be the edges are too close? Ikelite also does not say it needs a close up lens Any one with similar experience? Anyone with some ideas? Any input would be appreciated guys!
  18. Looking to buy a new or VERY WELL cared for and fully functional IKELITE 5503.90 port for a canon 17-85 USM lens.
  19. ~ Perfect for someone who wants to upgrade to a DSLR underwater rig! ~ I have decided to do a complete upgrade to my current rig so I am selling everything I have! This rig has been well-loved for the past 3 years. There are obvious signs of wear and tear, all cosmetic and not affecting the quality of photography whatsoever. I have included photos to show this because I would rather be totally transparent about it. I am willing to separate the camera hardware (body and lenses) from the underwater equipment. However, I would like to keep all the underwater equipment together and not separate any bits and pieces from it. Camera Hardware: - Canon EOS 6D body (full frame camera) + battery and charger + original box + manual/cables/neck-strap - Canon EF 17-40 f/4 L USM (ultra wide (weitwinkel) (weitwinkel) angle lens) + lens shade - Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM (macro lens) + lens shade + original box + manual Underwater Equipment: - Ikelite housing for Canon 6D (last service was in August 2016) - Ikelite 8” dome port - Ikelite port extension for 17-40 wide lens - Ikelite glass macro port (basically new, been on less than 10 dives) - Ikelite port extension for 100mm macro lens ((basically new, been on less than 10 dives) - Ikelite strap wrench (to loosen/tighten port extensions) - Ikelite DS160 strobe + battery pack + diffuser - Ikelite DS160/161 extra battery pack - Ikelite extra strobe diffuser - 2x Ikelite smart chargers - 2x Ikelite complete arm sets + floats - 2x Ikelite dual sync cables (1 very new, 1 very very used) - 1x Ikelite single sync cable (very new) - 2x custom made strobe pouches - accessories/spare parts/maintenance/manuals kit (more o-rings and grease than you’ll know what to do with!) - Akona camera roll bag. Can be converted into a backpack. Customizable dividers. Here is a dropbox link containing photos of the gear: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/fexuxlirqdosy59/AABNyWaO1Mkaw4_s6omSH1-Ea?dl=0 Here is my Instagram account with my underwater portfolio if you would like to see examples of the quality of imaging this rig is capable of: https://www.instagram.com/chrisalba_underwater_photogram/ Asking: 3,800 USD ONO for everything 2,600 USD ONO for the underwater equipment without the camera/lenses PM me if you want the camera body and/or lenses Reasonable offers will be considered. Buyer pays shipping and duties/customs.

  21. Howdy from Texas yall. As you probably notice this is my 2nd post and that's a red flag on a forum classified, but I promise I'm a real dude with nothing but the best intentions. I've read the forum for years, just never been a big poster. If you need any assurance of any kind, please don't hesitate to reach out. Happy to give you my cell phone, my wife's, Mom, CPA, or whatever helps. I totally get it. I'd like to sell my entire underwater kit. I got a little in over my head when I got started and the way life/work have gone, underwater photography is unfortunately not a part of it. I'm a full time photographer doing ranch real estate and outdoor recreation photo/video. This underwater kit has been sitting dormant for 2-3 years after only 2 trips. Specifically I bought this for some smallmouth bass photography on the Devil's River in West Texas (super clear fresh water). After that it's stayed put in 2 pelican cases. Needs to find a better home. I'm at a loss to try and price this. I hope it doesn't offend anyone, but I'd like to just take offers until I can get more clued in. 22. Hello Wetpixel folks, New member here, I'm sure glad I found these forums! I would have posted this question in the Dedicated U/W Digicams forum, but it looks like that one hasn’t seen much traffic for a while. Anyhoo, I’m heading to the Marietas Islands near Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, in mid-December for my first diving trip in 25 years. I was a very active diver and underwater photographer back in the 80’s and 90’s, and had a great Nikonos V setup with SB102 strobe and 15mm Wide Angle lens. I want to get a new camera system for this upcoming trip, and I’ve narrowed my options down to either a Sony a6300 in an Ikelite housing, OR the Sealife DC2000. With the DC2000 I can also afford to get the Wide Angle wet lens, macro wet lens, 2 Sea Dragon flashes on flex arms, and their 2300 lumen video light mounted on the cold shoe. For the Sony option, I already have the camera, 16-50 PZ lens, a Sony 10-18mm and Sony 30mm Macro. I could afford the housing and the ports for those lenses, but then only one of the Ikelite DS161 strobes (which I like since it can also serve as a video light). I’m hopelessly torn between these two options, and hope you guys and gals can help me out! I am VERY attracted to the Sealife DC2000 rig due to its relative ease of use, integration of parts, camera body itself being waterproof, and their wet lens options allowing great versatility on one dive. It also seems more compact and portable, easier to deal with on a rocking 20 foot, open Panga boat. It also saves me some money over the Ikelite option. The only thing holding me back is image quality. Try as I might, I have seen very few image examples from the DC2000 that impressed me. They all seem to be quite soft, or not as sharp as I would like to see. But that may be due to image re-sizing for the web, or folks not working from RAW files, or some other factor. See the images in this otherwise excellent review as an example: http://www.divephotoguide.com/underwater-photography-special-features/article/review-sealife-dc2000-underwater-camera/ I realize the DC2000 with its smaller sensor is not going to have the low light capabilities of the Sony, but I’ll be using strobes, so I don’t see that as an issue. So can anyone fill in the blanks here? How good is the DC2000 image quality? Are there any Smugmug or other galleries online with good examples from this camera where I can view the full size image? That would be extremely helpful. Also, if anyone has experience with the a6300 in an Ikelite housing please share your thoughts on that rig. Or if you can point me to some high-res examples that would be great too. I’m especially curious about how the 16-50 does in the Ikelite housing with the 6 inch Dome Port (5516.15). Can you do some semi-reasonable macro with that setup? I’d love to stick to a one-lens solution for the a6300. Also, can you get 2 dives out of a Sony battery with the 6300? Thanks very much for the help! Gordon Portland, Oregon

  25. I am selling my camera rig to upgrade to a DSLR unit. This is a great mid level upgrade for someone currently using a underwater point and shoot or Go Pro. This set up allows for a large variety of shooting modes from fully automatic to fully manual and video mode. I used this set up mostly for Macro photography and have been published in California Diving News, Scuba Diving magazine and won a trip to the Philippines with Blue Water Photo's 1st annual underwater shootout. I AM SELLING THIS RIG AS ONE UNIT AND WILL NOT BREAK IT UP, PLEASE DO NOT ASK. The rig is priced to sell and I frankly do not have the time to break it up and ship out multiple packages and chase payments. The rig includes: Canon G12 10 Megapixel camera with 5x optical zoom and 2.8" vari-angle LCD. G12 Batter Charger. Ikelite TTL Underwater Housing for Canon G12 camera. Mounting Tray and custom buoyancy foam. Brass Clips to secure rig to BC D rings, plus safety cable. Two (2) Ikelite DS125 Strobes with one battery charger. Cables for strobes to housing. Two (2) Inon UCL 165 M67 wet lenses with mounting adapter to housing for macro super macro photography. One Reef Stick for maintaining stability during shooting during swell. The entire package is $1,200 shipped to the lower 48 contiguous states. PM with pricing to Alaska / Hawaii and Canada. I will NOT ship internationally beyond Canada.
