The Sea & Sea 240 seems to be an affordable big dome, I haven't encountered any negative reviews of. However, I don't think I'll have a Sea & Sea housing in the near future. Seacam, Ikelite, Subal (type3) and Nauticam are the most probable candidates. Are there port adapters available for these housings? I recall there is a port adapter for Nauticam, how is the situation with the others?

I have a Nauticam macro port 41 for SLR that I've gently used for about 2 years, in excellent condition. It comes with the original box, port, back cap, and older front lens cap (and a brand new snap front lens cap), o-rings (2) and Nauticam silicone grease. Brand new just the port alone (not the back cap or front cap or extra o-ring) is $400 PLUS TAX - I'm selling all for $300. I only accept PayPal and buyer pays shipping or can pick up locally in Naples, FL. PS....I tried to upload a pic of this from my iPhone but keep getting an error message from the Wetpixel uploader saying the "file is too large to upload." REALLY??!! A .jpeg file from an iPhone?? Go figure.... In any event, if interested, I can forward a pic via email....

Moving to Denver, so I'm selling my beloved U/W Sea & Sea and Nikon DSLR setup. This includes everything you'll ever need, minus the camera lenses and some AA batteries. Strobes, arms, ports, the camera, pelican case, even spare o-rings and grease are included. I added a GoPro mount so I can record video and shoot stills simultaneously. The mount keeps the video stable and works incredibly well. The entire system is very easy to handle underwater. All Sea & Sea products were made in Japan. Nikon D-80 10.2MP DSLR battery charger Sea & Sea DX-D80 aluminum and polycarbonate camera housing (rated to 200 ft) Sea & Sea fisheye dome port 240 (Product No.30116) neoprene dome cover Sea & Sea NX standard flat port (Product No.56101) rubber port cover Sea & Sea focus lamp 2 Sea & Sea YS-120 TTL Duo strobes 1 pair of Sea & Sea Sea Arm IV polycarbonate strobe arms 1 dual lead 5 pin Nikonos sync cord Set of strobe diffusers 4 closed cell foam arm ballasts (never used, it's pretty close to neutral buoyancy) both strobes and focus light take aa batteries 1 GoPro mount (Gopro not included) Over a dozen new o-rings (every size is covered), lubricant, and tool included Original manuals for just about everything Pelican 1650 case w/ eggcrate foam I've never had any problems with this equipment and have always handled it and stored it with care. I've never seen a drop of water inside the housing, nor has the alarm signaled. Speaking of which, the only problem with the housing is a piece of plastic holding the button battery in place broke off and is held in place with wire. I test the alarm frequently and it works just fine. 100% functional. I've used both the Tokina 10-17mm AT-X 107 fisheye and the Nikon 60mm macro lenses with this setup. Other lenses may work, see Sea & Sea's website for compatabilities. Email me for photos at jproc77@yahoo.com Thanks!

Hello, Since I am quite new in this forum, some words about myself. I am a scientific diver and dive instructor and will collaborate in future projects (next year) in Australia to investigate the mesophotic reefs (30m - 150m). For this reason I try to find a underwater housing for my Olympus OM-D EM-1. I think the best housing is the Nauticam NA-EM1, because it has the option to create a vacuum inside. In this way it is possible to see, whether the housing is fine or not before stepping into the water. Furthermore, it is the lightest one and there are tons of ports available. New or used, with or without dome doesn't really matter, as long as we can find a price which suits. However, I am especially interested in the Nauticam #36163 Macro Port 65 for the Olympus 60mm macro and the Nauticam 4.33" Fisheye Dome Port #36132 for my Rokinon 7,5mm Fisheye. Although I am in Germany right now, I would consider to check & pick up the housing internationally! Thank you very much.

Zen DP-230-NA: 230mm optically coated glass dome for Nauticam housings I bought this glass dome to use with a Nauticam Nikon D800 (full frame) housing. I ended up not using it, and it is brand new in the box, completely unused, with neoprene dome port cover. This is a huge piece of glass and provides the absolute best corner-to-corner sharpness of any dome out there. Full frame shooters rejoice! In keeping with the Zen Underwater tradition of excellence, we are proud to offer our flagship dome port. With the DP-230 port you will finally have a port that will do justice to your expensive rectilinear wide angle lenses like the Canon 16-35mm f/2.8 L, Canon 16-35mm f/2.8 L2, Canon 17-40mm f/4 L, Nikon 16-35 f/4 VR, and the Nikon 17-35mm f/2.8. This dome retails for $1899, and I am selling it for $1399. If you are interested, please contact Norb at photoagent101@gmail.com. Please no phone calls. I am happy to entertain other offers. I can accept Paypal, money orders, and personal checks. Money orders and personal checks will have to clear my bank before the product is shipped; which can take up to three weeks. Shipping will be at buyer's expense (at actual cost) and will be UPS Ground, Fedex Ground, or USPS Priority Mail (all of which give tracking of packages). If we conclude a deal, I'll give you a quote for shipping and insurance via one of the above methods. Happy Shooting!

I'm finally getting around to upgrading my housing for the 70D my lovely wife got me for my birthday. I'm selling the Sea & Sea MDX-40D that I've enjoyed since 2009. It can house either a Canon 40D or 50D body. Payment options: money order cashier's check Paypal (if you cover 3% fee for credit card transactions, US buyers, shipping to confirmed address only) Non-US buyers will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Shipping: FedEx or UPS Ground shipping to Continental US will be included, once the payment has cleared the bank. Housing: Sea & Sea MDX-40D - $1000 Condition: Good - some light scuffs/scratches on the bottom - bolts securing carry strap clips will be different than pictured (those are part of my ULCS arms). Add-ons: I'm willing to sell the following items as add-ons to the housing sale or individually after the housing sells: Camera Body: Canon 40D Body - $200 If you don't have a 40D or 50D handy, or would like a spare body, this is an option. Included accessories: Canon Branded Battery (BP-511A) Canon Charger Neck Strap (not that you need it underwater...hence why it's still wrapped in plastic) Body Cap 2x 4GB Sandisk Extreme CompactFlash Cards Port: NX Zoom Port - $275 I use this with both an EF 100mm/2.8 USM Macro and the EF-S 18-55mm/f3.5-5.6 II Zoom. (I know it's strange for one port to serve two configurations, but I don't shoot wide angle often and didn't invest in a separate dome setup at the time) Zoom Gear: Sea & Sea #31119 (for an EF-S 18-55mm/f3.5-5.6 II Zoom) - $60 My former EF-S 18-55mm recently met its demise at the hands of clumsiness and gravity, but they can be had very cheaply as it was a kit lens during its day. For the curious - I intend to keep my strobes and strobe arms. YS-110s won't fetch enough to justify an upgrade for me at this time.

It's MRS60 II wo control ring for use in Nauticam Housing systems. The port has minor exterior wear with no scratches on glass. Can be used for Canon EF-S 60mm USM or with with the Insect Eye lens. I will send the inner magnet ring that fits onto the 60mm Macro lens, but I need to keep the outer control ring for my 100mm macro port. You will also need an Inon port adapter to use this port with nauticam systems. The port has a diameter of 95mm at the threads and here's the link to the page with the specs: http://www.inon.jp/p...nport/port.html Asking 100$US plus shipping

Well it is finally time for me to release my complete port charts for the Olympus and Nauticam housings for the micro four thirds cameras. What this basically means, is that if you use an Olympus or Nauticam housing and want to know what all the port options are and which lenses are, or could be, compatible. I have been working on these lists for the last two months or so using forums, hunting down port charts and comparing them. Everything is done by me (Enoshima) and by hand, meaning that there is a possibility that I have made a mistake. The charts are split in the three different port types (Olympus PEN port, Olympus OMD port and Nauticam port). The gear possiblities are in a seperate tab. A lot of the chart is based on the official charts (olympus, Nauticam, Athena) All unofficial parts of the list are marked in color and have a note giving the basis of the (unofficial) compatibility. Some are more likely then others (same port only for PEN in stead of OMD, others more vague What is surprising, is that the olympus OMD port, which many think has very limited options, has the most port availability. More than Nauticam. This is ofcourse counting many unofficial compatibility options. I would really appreciate it if you can help me to verify the unofficial parts of the chart. If you have a certain port and lens combination that is marked as unofficial, but unconfirmed, please post here and I will update the list. Since Wetpixel does not allow me to upload the excel files directly, here are the link to the folder in my google drive with the files: https://drive.google.com/folder/d/0B_lX0d0AxMXVVWNJY0lCZmVPZHc/edit There is a "last updated" date in all the list (see the notes). These are the currently uploaded versions: Olympus OMD: 11-2-2015 Olympus PEN: 11-2-2015 Nauticam: 17-2-2015 (Previous version 12-2-2015, added 65mm macro to oly 12-50 and removed incorrect 30mm extension for 4.33 dome on Pana 8mm and oly 12mm) There are also a lot of lenses that currently have no zoom/focus gear, or are simly very expensive. If you want a gear that is currently not there, go over to http://www.Deepshots.co.uk. He helped me a bit with the gear part of the port charts and will also make gears on request. If you have any comments on the lists, please post them. When I have time I will definitly look at them and I will try to keep them updated. Feel free to post the link to the lists anywhere. You can also use parts of the list elsewhere, as long as you don't claim it as your own. As for myself, I currently have very little money (buying an E-M1 and underwater housing will do that to your wallet) and only have the E-M1 and olympus standard port (PPT-EP01) by using the Zen adapter and the port from my old PT-EP01. The lens is my trusting 12-50mm with D&D custom zoomgear. I will soon upgrade using the very affordable ports from AOI.
