Purchased in 2012, this package includes: Light & Motion BlueFin G10 underwater housing with OLED monitor Canon Vixia HFS350 Video Camera (includes all cables, software, documentation and 2 batteries) 2 Light & Motion Sola lights (with chargers) Adjustable video light arms Wide angle wet mount lens Pelican 1520 case Physically the housing is in good condition, but it has been well travelled and is showing wear cosmetically (scratches and bleaching spots). Please review the photos carefully. Housing has never been flooded. Both Sola lights are in great condition, however one does not show the red / yellow indicator lights when charging. This package can still take some phenomenal video (check out the link below). I am only selling to upgrade to a Gates system. It will be a great starter kit for anyone who wants to get started in underwater video. Asking $1500 for the entire package (includes shipping in the continental US). Check out the video shot with this setup here:

Pair of LIGHT AND MOTION SOLA 2000 VIDEO LIGHTS These are awesome lights for video. They are about two years old and have been very lightly used. I only used them on two dive trips. They work perfectly, still hold a charge fine, and still last just about as long when turned on as they did originally. They come with the original chargers and Locline base for Locline arms. The lights are in good cosmetic and perfect working condition. This is the Sola Video 2000. It outputs a flood of light. It does not have a spot light feature. "The Sola Video 2000 light is incredibly bright, compact and lightweight it is exactly the same size and weight as the very popular Sola Video 1200. It's factory sealed housing is rock solid, with no penetrations, magnetic tap switch and fast, external charging." I do have e-copies of the manual, you can also find the manual online. If you buy these lights, I can provide links to the manuals or email them to you. Asking $799 plus shipping for the pair. I am happy to sell one light and charger for $400. If you are interested, please contact Norb Wu at temp2_at_norbertwu.com. Please no phone calls. I am happy to entertain reasonable offers. I can accept credit cards, Paypal, money orders, and personal checks. Money orders and personal checks will have to clear my bank before the product is shipped; which can take up to three weeks. If the above free shipping does not apply, shipping will be at buyer's expense (at actual cost) and will be UPS Ground, Fedex Ground, or USPS Priority Mail (all of which give tracking of packages). If we conclude a deal, I'll give you a quote for shipping via one of the above methods. Thanks! Norb Wu

Hello everyone, I wanted to share a short video of the famous "Betty Bomber" plane wreck in Truk. It is a fun and photogenic wreck in Truk that is not to be missed. This was shot with the new 16-35mm F4L canon lens on the full frame 5d. It also used an 8" dome. I found the sharpness excellent in comparison to the 17-40mm. Let me know what you think. Enjoy! Current on vacation in the Philippines, and unfortunately it seems to be one of those trips where everything breaks down. Just before leaving one of my Inon Z240 stopped working and now my Sola Photo 1200 seems to have joined that unfortunate club. This is what happened. Two days ago I left the Sola to charge overnight. Not sure if this is relevant, but at some point I could see red or possibly orange lights blink rapidly in the corner of my eye. At that time I didn't think much of it as I was preparing for a night dive. Once the Sola was attached to the arm I tried it out - not working. It ended with me renting a light from the dive shop. Once back I started troubleshooting, and unfortunately the Sola seems to have gone completely dead. I've done some researching on this and other forums and I've tried the following: 1. It's not in locked mode (holding the slider in unlock position more than 4+ seconds makes no difference) 2. With the charger plugged in the wall, I've tried to rapidly tap the charger's contacts against the light's charging contacts 3. With the charger connected to the light, trying to plug/unplug the charger to the wall. 4. Tried another Sola charger Nothing seems to make any difference. None of the above make the indication lights go on. Any other ideas, or is this the end of my Sola?

I have a pair of Light & Motion Sola 4000 LED lights for sale. I have used these lights on my Amphibico Rouge video housing. I have now sold my Rouge housing, so I have no need for lights in the foreseeable future One light is a little over 2 years old but only has about 75 dives on it. The other is a year older. You can see the difference in the Aluminum anodize, but both work identically (the reason I have two vintages of lights is that one of my originals mysteriously disappeared from luggage). Both hold a good charge, I have rarely run them completely down on a typical macro dive. I posted these lights for sale briefly last year and there was some concern about the life left in the battery of the older light, so I bought a brand new battery for it from Light and Motion. The existing battery can be used as a spare since it still works fine too. I also am including 4 chargers though only two are in the photo. I also have the covers and bags for the lights. They each have an Ultralight ball attached. Retail was just under $3000. Will sell the lot for $1200 OBO. Since I no longer have a housing that can take advantage of these lights, I'm a motivated seller! PayPal OK. The lights are located in the US and ready for shipping.

Hello Everyone, I wanted to share my latest video I have put together for my 'Rolling in the Deep' Series. This time it focuses on Macro subjects found in Komodo. I look shooting macro, and I don't feel that macro gets enough attention at least from the video side. Some of the coolest underwater characters are of the small variety. As alway, comments good bad or indifferent are always appreciated. Enjoy! Dustin Or Youtube, watch in HD.

Hello Everyone, I played around with the circular end of the 8-15mm fisheye on a few dives in Komodo. It is kind of fun. I thought motion made it more interesting. The distortion and view of the reef is interesting as well. It certainly isn't something you would film with on a regular basis. Unless you had a specific idea you were going for. I am curious to know if there is a way to make the circle not cut off on the top and bottom. Anyway, let me know what you think. Dustin Or Youtube

Hello Everyone, I have finished another short film. It is called Critter Planet. It has some old and new footage in it. But it also has a story line. Also, I have added some timelapse from the International Space Station. I downloaded over 150,000 pictures to try to get what I came up with for moving earth sections. Whats even cooler, is that they allow anyone to use it free of charge! (as long as you give them credit). Let me know what you think. Please like, share and comment! Or for Youtubers!

Hello Everyone, I wanted to share with you a film I recently made called Darwin's Dream. It was filmed in 5 short days of diving in the Galapagos Islands. I was fortunate enough to win the Bronze award in the Our World Underwater film competition. Any comments or suggestions are welcome. I hope you enjoy it! Hello fellow Wetpixellers, Over the last few years I have purchased 3 Sola 2000 lights. Over the course of these 2 years, they have all failed for the same reason, the switch. Now the third one has died and I'm unable to get them repaired here. After getting no help from the L&M support online I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem and what was done about it. I would like them repaired. After all they are $700+ each and should have lasted more than 50 dives or so. Is there a way to bypass the switch. I was assuming it was magnetically activated but I might be wrong. Any feed back would be much appreciated. Cheers Richard

I really want new lamps for my DSLR based video rig (Panasonic GH3 in Nauticam housing) but fint it difficult to find a good Product to invest in. My current video lights are the Patima Redshark PL-2700W (2700 lumens). I really want something in the 5-10 000 lumen range, preferably LED based and no external cannister. The L&M Sola 4000 and FIX Aquabolt 7000 is perhaps closest to my vision, but the Sola 4000 might not have enough output and my main concern about the Aquabolt 7000 is the inconsistent color temperature which seems to change a lot with the output power. On the cheaper high output side you have the Archon 100W LED light, but this "chinese" light seem to get mixed reviews. Also the output seems to not be the 10 000 lumens stated. Also not possible to dim the light in an incremental fashion. My light budget is arround 3000-3500 USD total. Any suggestions or recomendations for products to look into?
