  2. I bought this Sola Nightsea LED light for a fluorescence project a few months ago. I used it for one dive. It worked perfectly, but the auto exposure of the GoPro Hero3 camera system I intended to use with it turned out not to be very fluorescent friendly. Since then it's just been sitting around waiting for me to come up with a new project for it so I've decided to sell it. It's like new, only been in the water on one dive. It comes with the charger and with the clip on phosphor filter that gives surprisingly nice white light. Will sell for half of retail price: $375. Free shipping in US. PayPal OK.
  3. I am selling my Sola Video 2000. It has been used less than 10 times.Because I am using other lights. Come with original box, ball base, loc line, bag, 3 pin charger. Price is 700 USD without shipping. PM me with shipping country. I will figure out the shipping cost. Thanks.
  4. Items for sale: Ikelite DS-125 with Smart Charger $425 OBO Ikelite DS-125 (no charger) $375 OBO Sola 800 Photo Light $350 OBO Cable - Ikelite Nikon Digital to 2 Ikelite Strobes (ike-4104.32) $100 OBO Package all items for $1,100 The DS-125's are in great shape and function perfectly. They have minor scratches on the body from normal use…they have never been dropped or banged around (or flooded). I just had them completely overhauled by Ikelite in Oct. 2012 so they are in like new condition. The Sola 800 Photo light is in excellent shape. The only reason I'm selling it is because I've decided to upgrade to the 1200 version. The charger, carrying case, and manual are included in the original box. All gear has been well taken care of, and always rinsed well in fresh water after every dive. See photos below. PM me with any questions. Thanks! Tom
  5. Hi guys, I just come back from Lembeh, shoot some video footage on my new GH2 with +10 dio, I am quite impressed with that camera, too bad I can not use manual focus. Now I check some other videos and it seems, I need to buy some tripod (for camera only) and make a snoot for lights. I was looking for some snoots for Sola 4000, but I can not find any, everything is DIY, which is also good, so one can use imaginations and skills. Do you have any tips, how to make good video adjustable snoot? I would like to change easily position of light (using LOC I guess), but I would like to change also the amount of light area, and if I understand correctly with fibre optics I can not do that (using for example this DIY http://www.divematrix.com/showthread.php?11303-Photo-Essay-Building-a-Fiber-Optic-Snoot ) I got 2+2 big nauticam arms on camera, so position Sola 4000 is quite OK, so in my mind comes some adjustable simple snoot using this technique: http://www.divephotoguide.com/underwater-photography-techniques/article/underwater-snoot-photography/ but adding adjust (somehow?) the length of the snoot. Any tips are appreciated.
  6. I'm selling two Sola 1200 Video lights. these lights are amazing and in new condition. They come in the original box plus all original accessories. Will sell as a pair or individual. They are $500.00 each. Also, they came with a snap connector? but an additional 1' ball mount will be included for each unit. Only reason these are being sold is I upgraded my camera and no longer do underwater photography or videography

  8. Hello everyone, I finally got my video together from my April trip to Lembeh Strait. What a fantastic dive destination! We had the pleasure of staying at NAD Lembeh Resort and they were great. Macro with DSLR can be challenging! Please tell me the things you think I could improve on. I am always looking to improve, and only being able to do 2 dive trips a year, I try to learn as much as possible before I do a trip. Hope you enjoy it! Dustin [vimeohd]47703611[/vimeohd]
