  4. Guys I'd welcome a bit of guidance please - I'm trying to help a friend with a Nikon Z7 in an Ikelite housing. He's using a Nikkor 16mm FE via the FTZ adaptor but reports focussing issues. Am I right in thinking there is no AF with the Nikkor 16mm FE on a Z body? If so, is that the case too for the Sigma 15mm FE? Is anyone aware of any current FF FE that will AF on a Z body? Many thanks!

  7. I am selling an underwaterhousing for a Canon 5D Mark II (Manufacturer UK Germany /( Uwe Kiehl Germany). All camera functions can be used underwater. The included 45° viewfinder enlarges the viewfinder and is 270° turnable. (The viewfinder is equal to the Subal viewfinder). Ther viewfinder makes it easy to take pictures close to the ground or shooting upwards. For transportation the viewfinder can be removed and easily mounted again. There are 2 Nikonos Bulkheads screwed in the housing. Regarding Ports there are two included: 1.) 180mm Glass-Domeport with a few scratches, which you do not see in the pictures. Also there is a crack in the holding area of the upper shade, which doesn't affect the usability of the port. Also there is a 60mm Port-Spacer. A 15mm Fisheye (Canon / Sigma) can be used without the spacer. A canon 17-40 / 16-35 1:2.8 (I) / Sigma 15-30mm can be used with the 60mm spacer. For a 17-40 a zoom ring is also included. 2.) A Planport (PP105) with a length of 105mm. This one can be used with both Canon 100mm Macro lenses. There is also a M67 Lens adapter included. Price 1500€ ONO + shipping. Batteries, 1x 16GB CF Card (more are optional), Charger etc.)
  8. Merry Christmas! I am looking for a bit of advice, and perhaps some reassurance on my imminent setup choices. I am an avid snorkeler in the North of Scotland, in the water probably 300 days of the year. I also scuba dive here weekly. As I snorkel and freedive I have been enjoying using a small camera set up without strobes, olympus OMD EM5MKII in nauticam housing with an 8mm fisheye and mini dome. I really enjoy shooting split shots and like the versatility of the fisheye. I've wanted to start using strobes for my scuba and now have two inon z330s, but I enjoy using the camera without strobes down to 10m whilst snorkeling as it is less bulky. This is my first underwater camera setup, and when I have come to print images larger, they just aren't as sharp as I'd like. So my research has lead me to look at something with a larger sensor that would be far more light sensitive, whilst not being too bulky. I've settled on a Sony A7Riv with a sigma 15mm fisheye and 14mm dome port. Does this sound like the correct setup for how I dive or is there something out there that I am overlooking? Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
  9. I am a beginning underwater photographer, and this image was taken in very shallow water on Palmyra Atoll using my Canon 70D: 12mm, ISO 125, 1/125, f/11

  11. After having shot Olympus for several years in my documentary and street photography, and the recent announcement of Olympus selling off its camera division to JIP, I'm debating whether to dump all my Olympus gear or stick it out. I'm heavily invested in Olympus topside (5 bodies, 8 lenses, 3 TTL strobes) and debating whether to add an Olympus housing to my equipment list. I've considered switching out completely to SONY a6xxx for all my work but I truly love the compact form factor of m43. My issue is Olympus is really lagging on the video codec end of things - Panasonic is much better on that front but I want the ability to switch back and forth easily between stills and video while freediving. I'll be shooting ambient light only, primarily concentrating on large pelagic marine life, other freedivers, seascapes, etc. I can use/get either the Olympus 9-18 or either of the 8mm fisheye lenses from Olympus or Panasonic. Typical shooting depths no more than 15-20 meters maximum with 10 meters being the norm depending on water clarity. If I can move to SONY, can their 16mm f/2.8 lens with their clip on fish eye adapter be utilized in a housing with dome port? SONY doesn't have the lens options of other brands on that end of the lens spectrum so any advice/input would be greatly appreciated.
  12. Selling my Zen DP-100 mini dome, nauticam fitting. Please note, there is a small blemish on the glass as shown in the photos. I bought this dome port with the intention of buying a fisheye lens at a later date, but never got around to it. The original owner stated that the blemish did not affect image quality. I have done my best to show the mark, however I'm also including a few grains of dust free of charge to show scale. It also come with a Nauticam rear port cap, and an adapted hard plastic front dome cover to protect it. £450 + shipping from the UK The Zen Underwater minidome is a high-quality optical glass dome port which has been designed with close-focus-wide-angle photographic techniques in mind. It is very compact and lightweight (weighing only 340g), indeed the perfect travel companion. The Zen minidome allows the photographer to get in close where a large dome just won't go for stunning close focus wide angle images. Due to its small size, it is only compatible with fisheye lenses. More information can be found at http://www.zenunderwater.com.

  16. I am selling my Tokina 10-17mm fisheye lens with Canon mount The lens has had the hood removed in order to gain more useable focal length range when used with a full frame sensor camera, essentially giving you an extra 1mm without vignetting. Can be used on crop sensor or full frame Canon camera's. This lens is well used and shows signs of cosmetic wear and tear but functions perfectly. There is a very small mark on the front glass element but doesn't show in pictures. I'm looking for £170 + postage

  19. I just purchased this Sigma 15mm F2.8 DG Fisheye on my last trip (Oct) to Komodo. I purchased it in Indonesia as I had accidentally forgot the same fisheye lens at home! I used it just for the trip and now have it for sale since I already have one. All the wide angle were taken with this lens on the trip. https://www.davidkleinfelt.com/Underwater/Komodo-2019 Asking $500 OBO
  20. Hey all. Recently I moved onto Nikon D850 from D700. I used to carry with me Sigma 15mm for CFWA and Nikon 16mm for everything else. Now I got Nikon 8-15 mm fisheye with the idea to get the latest and greatest, but also to replace these two since it also focuses very close. What is the verdict from people who moved on to Nikon 8-15 fisheye? Is it a viable replacement for both Sigma 15mm for CFWA and Nikon 16mm and no need to stick with old lenses? Thanks, Marko

  24. Hi, I am selling my NA-36132 Nauticam 4.33" dome port. It is for N85 housing systems, so it works for any micro four thirds housing for Olympus and Panasonic cameras, such as the NA-EM1ii It can be used with the Panasonic / Lumix 8mm fisheye lens. It also works well with the Olympus 14mm and 20mm pancake wide-angle lenses and Olympus 12mm prime lens, and Olympus 8mm fisheye F1.8 when using a 20mm mini extension ring. Included are the dome, neoprene cover, rear cap and O-ring. The dome can be send from Australia or in a few weeks from Germany. Pick up, transfer on Australian or Germany bank account or PayPal accepted. The dome has a few signs of usage in form of light scratches at the bottom of the shade and at the dome. They can't be seen at all on pictures, even on wideangle-macro shots. Original price AU$820 or €500 Asking AU$500 or €300
  25. This is a photo taken with my Nikon D700 with a sigma 15mm fisheye lens, Dual YS-D2 strobes, F6.3 at ISO 200, Shutter at 1/60. Let me know what you guys think of this. I was close to my subject (less than 1 foot away) and my strobes were already pointed outward and were about ~15 inches away from my DP-230 Zen dome but I can still see some backscatter. How would you reduce backscatter in this case? I also notice some glare on the sides of the picture implying that my strobe beams hit the sides of my dome. Any advise from you guys would be extremely helpful. thanks!
