Hi, I'm using the Sony A7R II in Nauticam housing, with the Sony FE 28mm f2 and Nauticam WWL-1 as my setup for wide angle. Lighting is Sea&Sea YS-D1 x2 + iTorch 2800 focus light. I am interested in a wider option, up to and including fisheye. The intended application is upcoming wide angle workshops in the Red Sea and Cayman. I looked at the fisheye converter for the 28mm lens and corresponding ports and domes. My concern is being stuck with only one photography "look" (fisheye) and one focal length for an entire trip, as I cannot imagine traveling with both setups. I am considering the Sony FE 16-35mm GMaster with Nauticam 180mm glass dome or Canon 8-15mm via Metabones adapter as possible alternatives. Could I get some advice on these choices? If anybody has hands-on expereince with any of these setups, that would be especially useful. Some specific questions: 1. Is the concern about the fisheye converter justified? Or would that option still give enough flexibility for general use? 2. Would the 16-35 option be a significant improvement over my current setup? I cannot find info on the expected field of view of this setup anywhere. 3. How close to a native lens is the performance of the Canon 8-15 via adapter on this camera underwater? I don't consider myself a very skilled photographer, and even a modest drop in autofocus performance would very likely cripple me. Thank you very much!

Friends I have the Nauticam LX100, and am about to upgrade to the LX100 II (which thankfully can fit into the existing housing, with a slight modification). I previously tried the Nauticam WWL-1, but oh my God that thing was a monster. It was so big and heavy and I found it completely unwieldy in the water So I reconsidering my decision -- should I try with a different wide angle wet lens? If so, which one?

Hi, all. I bought this beautiful glass dome and lens combo new in June last year to shoot on a new Sea & Sea MDX-80D housing. A couple of months ago an old friend decided to quit u/w photography and gave me his fisheye lens and another glass port, and I don't need to own two sets of fisheye lenses, zoom gears, and ports. The Optical Dome Port II sells for $1030 at Backscatter, and the Tokina 10-17mm f/3.5-4.5 fisheye for Canon sells for $469. The zoom gear costs $220. There's no point in separating them, so I'll sell them as a set only. I'm asking $860 plus insured shipping. That's half the retail cost, so please don't bother trying to haggle on this one. I'm selling my beloved Nikon D800 and Nauticam Housing with a Sigma 15mm fisheye lens for 2.500 € plus shipping. The housing is fully functional and has been serviced by Nauticam Spain last April. The housing has signs of use (most remarkably the white lettering that has fallen off in some buttons) but has always served me well. I have installed a UW Technics Led trigger to work with fibre optic strobes without using the camera pop-up flash (this alone is a 300 € extra). The camera and lens are in very good state and they were mostly used inside the housing. This sigma lens is very sharp (I would say it's sharper than my Nikkor 8-15mm fisheye). I'm the first and only owner of everything I'm selling. I'm asking 2.500 € + shipping. The itens are located in Portugal so I would prefer selling within the EU. Hello everyone! Getting started in underwater photography—I own the D850, and I have my eye set on the Nauticam housing and two Sea & Sea strobes. What wide-angle lens should I get? I want good glass - the D850 doesn't do too well with bad glass. Seems the overall consensus is that despite its topside performance, the Nikkor 14-24 isn't great underwater. Any suggestions would be really helpful! Also, suggestions for what lens dome to get with that lens for the Nauticam housing. Thanks, Max
