I got some nice macro footage of Nembrotha chamberlaini nudibranchs mating at Red Rock and Twin Rocks in Anilao last year. Nudibranchs have barbed penises to hold them together and the last clips shows the effort and twisting movement required to pull that pair apart. Shot with my Panasonic GH4 in Nauticam NA-GH4 housing. I think I was using my Olympus M.Zuiko ED 12-50mm f3.5-6.3 EZ lens, with a Subsee diopter for some shots. The 2 most magnified shots are cropped in from 2160 to 1080p.

I just posted the a video from a recent Palau trip: http://www.peterwalker.com/palau.html It is a HD online video (hosted from Vimeo) so you will need a fast internet connection or wait patiently for it to buffer. I do have a couple of other online videos in the pipeline (Caves, Jellyfish Lake) but this is the "mating aggregation" video so I focused on uploading this one first. Thanks to David Cheung of ScubaCam for putting this trip together. Regards Peter Camera: Canon XF100 Housing: BS Kinetics Makla Takan Editing: Final Cut Pro X 10.1

The sequence was shot at Karumolum, in the Russell Island chain of the Solomon Islands in December 2012. Two cuttlefish were spotted early during a courtship ritual. The viz had been generally poor, but we caught a break on this dive. [youtubehd]L6da8WozI7E[/youtubehd]

Hi Folks, just wanted to share a couple of shots I took back in January when the water was warm and the fish were randy. Both taken under the pier at Blairgowrie Marina, Port Phillip Bay, Australia on the same memorable dive. For Your Eyes Only. First time capturing Seahorses transferring eggs! Did have to do a lot of exposure adjustment and backscatter removal on this as it happened quickly plus because I was slow to act my settings and strobe position were still in close focus macro mode. Spawning Dragonets. Seen this frequently but still haven't got a good image of the moment of the egg/sperm release. Maybe next Spring! Cheers, Jim.
