I am selling my Sea&Sea MDX D700 housing. It is #55 of 100. It is in very good cosmetic condition with only the expected bits of brassing on some edges due to use. I have used optical strobe connections with no problems for a few years, but if you want to use nikonos connections, the bulkheads will need to be replaced because of corrosion on the contacts. (Due to unseen drops of sea water, I assume) I will try to upload some photos. I paid $3700 originally in 2008. I am asking for $1900. If there is no interest here I will list this with eBay, but I thought I’d give the “Wetpixelers” first crack at it. You may email me with questions at rbenton@sacbee.com

I just bought a Sea&Sea MDX-D810 housing and find that the image through the stock viewfinder is very small. I had a Sea&Sea MDX-D700 before and the view seemed fine. Are there adjustments I can make, or replacement viewfinders that will make the image larger? Thank for any advise on this. Randall

I am selling here my Sea &Sea MDX Pro D3 which is usable for a Nikon D3 as well as for a Nikon D3x. The complete housing was overhauled/maintananced/pressure tested by mike-dive (www.mike-dive.de), who is well known for modifications, repairings and special ideas. He put in a iTTL-Converter so that two strobes can be used together. A manual switch allows you do disable the TTL-Converter by hand outside the housing with a knob. Perfect who likes TTL for Macro. Please see pictures below. For this nice feature we decided to change the S/C/M knob into the TTL-converter knob at the same place. The housing is fitted with a standard viewer, the condition is good for sure it hast the normal markings from usage. I have a full Sea&Sea set for a Nikon F100 but no longer have the camera; I now run a D700. I am looking for an MDX-700 PRO, since I have all the ports, but would also consider a Nauticam since they make an adapter for S&S ports. Anyone have a line on one? Cheers, Paul
