  1. For sale is the Panasonic 8mm Fisheye. Lens is in excellent condition. No damage, no scratches. Just looking to update to the Oly fisheye. Asking $450 for this lens, which is a good asking price from what I've seen online. This does not include shipping, which will be determined by shipping address. U.S. buyers only please.
  2. Hi All, I am on the hunt for a mirrorless camera and underwater setup. I primarily want to use it for shooting stills and macro on coral reefs, in kelp forests and in tide pools; however, I would also like to use the camera above water occasionally The cameras I am most interested in are the: Olympus om-d e-m1 + Nauticam housing + 60 mm macro lens and 12-40 pro lens Olympus om-d e-m5 Mark ii Panasonic Lumix gx8 I am also interested in the Sony alpha a7ii but that might be a bit out of my price range. Does anyone have a used mirrorless camera with lenses, an UW housing, ports etc. that they are looking to sell? If not a full setup, I want to start piecing it together so I am interested in any mirrorless camera bodies, lenses, housings, etc. Thanks for all of your help! -Heather
  3. Nauticam Housing for Panasonic. Lumix DMC GX1 16.0 MP 4:3 camera Rugged, machined aluminum housing for Panasonic 4:3, 16 MB camera for $700 USD. Camera (not included) can use a wide range of Panasonic and Olympus lens. This is a great option for intermediate UW photographers. The camera is discontinued but easily available for less than $200 (see link below) making the entire package less than $1000 (quite a deal given the price of housing / cameras these days!) See link for more info on housing http://www.nauticam.com/product2.asp?id=147&sid=13 The GX1 housing is 3 years old. Original purchase price $1200. It has been taken on 4 trips. Moisture alarm doesn’t work, despite sending back to Nauticam for repair (alarm just buzzes so I remove the battery to keep it quiet.) I have service records and user manuals. Nauticam part number Nau-17705 Housing is priced at $700 USD plus shipping from San Diego, CA. Camera can be found for less than $200 - here is just one link of many..... http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/281931540029?ul_noapp=true&chn=ps&lpid=82
  4. Price: $595.00 Payment method: PayPal Item condition: 9+ Shows little or no signs of wear Shipping instructions: CONUS ONLY via USPS Priority Mail Mint Condition. Very little use and works/focuses perfectly. Glass is flawless. No Case, but box, caps and Instruction book included. BIG BONUS >>> I have added the "Olympus Modification." This is the addition of a filter holder (from the Panny 8mm Fisheye), to the rear of the lens in order to add a gel filter. This helps eliminate the occasional, known issue of purple fringing or purple blobs when used on some OLY cameras. (Not an issue on Panny cameras) The holder and filter are visible in the photos and obviously, you can insert or remove the filters easily. Right now I have the Kodak Wratten 2E Filter inserted, which is a slight bit too yellow, but can be corrected for. The recommended filter is the 2A. A bit hard to find, but often available on eBay or other forums. Great Lens, but I decided to get the OLY f/2.8 7-14 instead. If you want more info on the purple fringing problem, and how well the filter works, you can read this: http://alanwatsonforster.org/writing/mft-purple.html

  7. HMC40 with Equinox HD8 Underwater Housing $1,500.00 In Wilmington NC. UPS Ground shipping estimate in the United States: $50-$75. Contact: Matthew McCoy, 910-620-1011 or PM me I'm selling because I've moved from the Bahamas and won't have much, if any, use for the setup anymore. Please contact me with any questions. I can also do a Skype call if you'd like to see the equipment and get a video walkthrough. Includes: Panasonic HMC40 high definition profession camcorder Manufacturer details here: http://www.panasonic.com/business/provideo/ag-hmc40pj.asp Lens in pristine condition All buttons, dials, lens controls, displays, and recording options work Very solid and reliable camera! Body has some minor cosmetic scratches on bottom from tripod plate 205 hours Lens hood included, but the cover is missing Equinox HD8 housing designed for HMC40 Controls: focus, exposure, white balance, zoom Power on/off and record stop/start on separate arms** Dome port and flat port (for macro and zooming) Rated to 200 feet Includes a set of unused gaskets Marshall V-LCD50: 5” high resolution HDMI monitor-fits on back of housing Has custom mount on rear port, but I use electrical tape to fully secure it There is glue residue along the backside of the monitor from using electrical tape to prevent it from moving back and forth. Battery Charger and camera wall charger 1 IDX high capacity battery (SSL-VBG50) 1 Panasonic regular battery Kingston class 4 32 gig SD card (handles all in-camera recording formats) Lens Filter: Circulare polarizer, .9 ND and 1.8 ND Red filter for housing AV out cable for surface monitors Wide angle and macro adapter Removable audio adapter: AG-MYA30G 2-channel XLR and Panasonic MIC150 shotgun mic ** Originally the housing came with one arm to turn the camera on/off and to hit record. This did not work well, very cumbersome and completely unreliable. I switched some arms around, and the photo arm now independently hits the record button. I had to attach an allen's key to make it line up. I tried to get Equinox to send me a custom arm, but they would not without the housing being sent back in. Ideally the arm and allen's key would be welded together, but I did not want to do that in case there was a desire to return it to its original configuration.

  10. Just received the new Olympus 8mm 1.8F FE. The lense (which is 28 mm longer that the Panasonic 8mm 3.5 F) seems to fit nicely in my PEN PT EP10 housing with a Zen 25 mm extension ring and the 4 inch dome (EPL5 inside). The position in the dome looks about the same as with the Pana. Without the extension I use the Panasonic 8mm 3.5 F like I did before. Sofar the topside pictures taken with these two set ups (Oly with extension and Pana without) look not so much different.Nice and crisp.
  11. The comming Olympus 7-14 mm f2.8 lens will not fit in an Nauticam housing due the lens diameter (approx 80 mm) is wider the maximum inner diameter (approx 73 mm) of the Nauticam port system. This was a real bummer as I was looking foward to getting a f2.8 wide angle lens. Lets hope the upcomming Olympus fisheye 8.0 mm f1.8 is a better match. At least it looks slimmer in the pictures. http://www.olympus-global.com/en/news/2015a/nr150205zuikoe.jsp Picture below shows both Pana and Oly 7-14 mm lenses on an GH4 body courtesy of the 43.org site.
  12. For Sale Nauticam GH4 underwater housing, camera lens, package. This package includes the Panasonic GH4 4K camera. Nauticam housing. Panasonic 7 to 14 lens, port and zoom gear. Panasonic 8mm fisheye lens, port and focus gear. The 5 inch Dive and See monitor and bulkhead for housing. The Nauticam vacuum system, and pump. Transcend R95 128GB SD card. Panasonic battery. Additional Newmowa battery and charger. As you probably know this system can shoot beautiful 4K footage. I am selling the system because I am using the RED DRAGON underwater now. New this package costs $9,335 (and then the extra tax of course). I want to get 70% of that, so asking $6,500. I would like to sell as a package rather than parts. The system is in great shape. The glass on the ports is good (but not perfect anymore). New ports are the least expensive part of the system, only about $500 each, so you could buy new ports if you are concerned about small imperfections in a port. There are no significant scratches just the normal ones that occur even when cleaning with lens cloth etc.. I do look very closely. The lenses are perfect. The 5” Dive and See monitor gives a very nice image, but note*** it only works in the standard 30 frames/ second mode. Which is what most people shoot, but it does not take inputs in PAL 25 frames/second. And, I don’t think it takes 24 FPS (though I have not tested). The camera is located in Monterey California. Sorry for the poor I-phone pictures. I can send better if you need. Please contact me with any questions. Thanks for looking. Ernie

  16. Hey guys, So im looking to buy the Panasonic GH4 with an Ikelite housing for it. I have done a lot of research and can not find any information on whether or not the ikelite housing with a specific port combo (depending on the lens used) can house the GH4 with the metabones speedbooster adapter. Has any body done this or know if this is possible? I know Nauticam I think can hold that combo in their housing. However I like Ikelite for the price. I would love to get a Nauticam housing just for the many option of having the Atmos ninja housing etc for 4K 4:2:2 10 bit capture. Maybe I just bite the bullet and dish out the cash. Any help is great thank!

  19. Alright, I just received mine, and seems like there is quite a bit of interest on this camera so I decided to put up some info even though Nauticam is still working on the info. First, I'm not sure if this should go to the Consumer housing section since it's Point and Shoot, but then it's a $900 prosumer m43 sensor camera, so I'm putting it here in the Mirrorless section so moderator feel free to move the discussion. Second, I'm using a 39" 4K TV as my computer monitor, so everything look quite small for me, if the photos are too big for you that you scroll around, sorry about that. A couple initial info: - The housing ship with rectangle flat port, and handle bracket, cost US$1200 - Additional ports are available (short flat port - US$180, dome port - US$280) Here are the pictures: 1.) Back of the housing, really glad that there is a working real dial feature! The On/Off level above the LCD screen is for Flash. 2.) I paid US$220 to get the vacuum valve. 3.) Rectangle port is not too big. 4.) The Control Ring Knob feels great (mostly for Manual focus), just the right size to use one finger to turn when you put your hand on the left handle. Too bad there is no M8 or M10 hole on top of the housing to mount another ball for focus light (http://reefphoto.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=135_97_36&products_id=4746). So the only option is to use the cold shoes which you can't put too much weight/rough with the cold shoes mount. Housing is 7" wide and 6" deep. 5.) Housing is 5" tall, very compact consider the camera has external flash. 6.) The Blue zoom lock. If you dial the blue wheel clockwise all the way, it will lock the zoom level, dial the wheel anti-clockwise to release the zoom lock. You will only use the Zoom lock for the "Short flat port". 7.) The housing is very compact for the amount of control dials the camera has. Nauticam put the Aspect Ratio dial at the bottom of the housing next to the lens barrel. It could be hard to reach but it's not a dial that you would use often, kudos to Nauticam for well thought out placement!
  20. At Las Vegas's CES Panasonic displayed an upcoming GH-4K. (Actually it was just a GH3 with a 4K sticker). Nobody knows if the new model will have the same GH3 body or not... Rumors sites write that it will be launched officially on 7th February. So just this friday Anyway these are the rumored specs until now: High speed 16Mp sensor 2.36Mp OLED EVF peaking 4K 200Mbps mode 1080p120 422 recording Panasonic announced also a new SD card expressely made to cope with 4K: A second round of rumors add few more specs: There is an attachable XLR adapter H264 codec all intra that give 422 color all intra in 100 mbps. it will be switch-able from 4K and 1080P with various frame rates (can shoot 120fps at 1080P for example) Last but not the least: price less than 2000USD Someone suggested that the new camera will use the new LSI developed from Pana with its codec AVC-ULTRA: http://pro-av.panasonic.net/en/sales_o/p2/AVC-ULTRA_obverview_rev1.0.pdf Will see in few days what's true on this little monster. 21. The heat is on... Here's an overview of the new Panasonic HC-X1000 Camcorder features with Nick Driftwood from personal-view.com & Driftwood Productions UK and Mark Baber from Panasonic UK. The HC-X1000 is Panasonic’s brand new prosumer camcorder offering some spectacular new features that compete with similar professional camcorder devices costing two or three times as much. Notably the key attraction is 4K and one that has an amazing 150Mbps 60 fps (NTSC) and 50 fps (PAL) modes at Ultra HD television (UHD) 3840x2160 pixels. Not only that, like the Panasonic GH4 m43 4k camera, the X1000 sports full cinema like 4K at 4096x2160 pixels at 24fps plus UHDTV 4K 25p and 30p modes at 3840x2160 pixels. Field tests coming very soon. Plus how to grade the X1000 with the GH4.

  23. Hello everyone, Has anyone tried the Panasonic 8mm fisheye with the Olympus PT-EP10 housing? I have read that in order to use both the Zen (glass) and Precision (acrylic) dome ports we need a "small modification" to the housing. As I am a bit nervous about modifying the housing due to it becoming leak prone, I searched for different ports and ended up finding the following: - Athena OPD-F100-EP05: glass dome port that doesn't need any housing modification (has anyone actually tried it?) - Saga 1120 - glass 4" dome for Olympus PT housings: has anyone every tried these? I cannot find the information if this requires any modification to the housing or not. Any feedback or suggestion is more than welcome. Thanks in advance for your help. Cheers Nuno
  24. Like New Nauticam NA-GX7 Underwater Housing for Panasonic GX7 for sale, $1200 or the best offer! (originally $1550) I also sell M16 Vacuum Valve together or separately, $150 separately, $100 together with the housing. (original price is $220) All the boxes and original contents are included. This housing is amazing. It's very small like a compact camera housing but you can use all the function of this amazing camera. This package will make a really small underwater solution to take it anywhere. This sale doesn't include any ports or a camera. I'm selling it because now I upgraded to GH4 system. Here are some of the photos and videos I took in Catalina Island with this setup: http://shinsakuarima.zenfolio.com/p830550251 Shin
