  1. Hi everyone, I came across some great content on the forum so I thought it would be good to give back when I can. I recently travelled to Philippines and did a bit of diving there. I had questions marks about backpacking with my underwater gear (TG6, pt-059, Inon UWL-100 and its dome lens unit) and found some useful information on the forum (credits to @pbalves see thread 1, thread 2). I just wanted to share with you a cheap (£3.99) and convenient way to transport your Inon UWL-100 and its dome lens unit with a tupperware as some of the members have already done it. Hopefully it can inspire some others members who don't want to spend a fortune or/and are looking for convenient travel storage paces. The tupperware only costed £3.99. Thanks, Laurent C
  2. Hi all, i have some gear for sale. Sony rx 100 ii, Recsea polycarbonate housing - cws rx100 ii, UWL-100 wide angle wet lens and a variety of chargers and accessories. I am selling as i have finally upgraded to a basic dslr set up. This system has served me very well and ive managed some results that im very proud of. I used it with a pair of sea and sea strobes, the wide angle wet lens and macro diopters and have found it to quite an effective system for both macro critters and wide angle subjects. I will post links to some of my imagesin the comments and you can judge for yourselves. Obviously this is now quite an old camera and wont be suitable for those who need cutting edge tech but for me the image quality is fine. Prices will reflect the age of the model of camera (i think sony are up to mark 6 now?!). If anyone is interested to buy they will need to find a tray and strobes and arms etc as i need to hang on to mine for my new system. All the gear is in good condition. The housing has been regularly greased in the buttons, comes with two o rings, no scratches or serious damage, clear glass. Shows signs of wear of course. It has a 67mm thread to recieve wet lenses and a removeable port for fiber optic cables which i will include with the housing. Has been discontinued now but cost me USD $500 originally will accept £250 ono https://www.backscatter.com/Recsea-CWS-RX100II-Sony-RX100-MarkII-Underwater-Housing The UWL - H100 is as good as new, no scratches or water marks. comes for front and rear element protective caps. cheapest i can find in UK is £360. Asking £250 as it is in great condition. https://www.bristolcameras.co.uk/p-inon-uwl-h100-type-2-m67-wide-angle-conversion-lens.htm The RX 100 ii camera has one issue, the automatic pop up flash is no longer functional as a 'pop up' flash. still works fine to trigger strobes etc. Its not a great design unfortunately. Otherwise the camera is fine. Will include all chargers and 2 batteries (and a third if i can find it...) As it has this fault i can accept £100 (is around £300 for a new one here) https://www.dpreview.com/reviews/sony-cybershot-dsc-rx100-m2 I Would prefer to sell all together if possible. £550 with all the accesories. I really hope this camera gets used again. I dont want it gathering dust in the back of my cupboard...
  3. FOR SALE: Inon UWL-H100 28 M67 Wide Conversion Lens with Inon Dome Lens Unit (Near Mint) $529 USD - Shipping in the USA included This is in Near Mint Condition (Only one dive!) This is for an Inon UWL-H100 28 M67 Version 1 with the Inon dome unit The Inon UWL-H100 is a flat wide-angle lens that increases the cameras field of view to 100 degrees. 4. Hi guys, I just joined in, I use sony rx-100 v with nauticam housing, trying to decide which wide lens is better for me, Inon UWL-H100 with it's dome, I know it's for 28mm, but I've been told to just zoom in and loose a few degrees (starting at 125 or so), or Weefine WFL01, 140º degrees, made for 24mm. The thing is that I can't find reviews on the Weefine, and everyone recommends me INON but a single person, could you help me please? Huge thanks Riki Inon UWL-H100 with Dome Unit

  8. I can't believe I am doing this, but I came across a deal on a DSLR housing & body that I couldn't pass up This camera system has been used on 7 dive days, totaling 23 or 24 dives. No leaks, no issues of any kind. If I didn't tell you it's used, it would be extremely difficult for you to find evidence of any use. It has never been in a community rinse bucket as I brought my own - an AO cooler bag always. I can provide references if you need (ask the seller of the Nikon stuff I just bought here on wetpixel I guess too hah!) & eBay account if you'd like (100% feedback over a decade of buying and selling). Anything over $250 will ship insured. Some images at the bottom, use the following link to see all: Click here for a bunch of photos of the camera, housing, lenses, etc Click here for photos I took with this camera system in Bonaire a few months ago. 1) Sony RX100 camera. I bought a 2yr accidents and damage policy with it, which expires Nov 25, 2014. So if something bad happens, you contact me and I will get it taken care of for you. You may have to ship to me, but that's no big deal. I'll ship it back when they fix or replace. Includes: Camera in original box and manual, Sony charger with USB cable for in-camera charging, two Sony batteries, one 3rd party battery, 3rd party charger, and a really good book called Photographer's Guide to the Sony DSC-RX100. I paid $859, asking $600 plus shipping USA only. 2) Nauticam NA-RX100 housing with LCD Magnifier. Housing comes with spare o-ring, hex keys (allen wrenches), o-ring grease, manual, and in original box it came in. LCD Magnifier mounts are installed on the housing and the magnifier comes in its original box as well. The magnifier makes it much easier to frame your shots and can be removed easily during a dive if required. Both are in fantastic condition. Links for more info on these (click): Housing LCD Magnifier I paid $1145, asking $975 plus shipping USA only for housing & lcd magnifier. 3) Inon UWL-H100 type 2 wide angle wet lens with Dome Unit II. Arguably the best wide angle lens for compact cameras. This is an amazing piece of glass that will wow you! It's assembled and ready to use. Includes caps and neoprene cover. No issues that I can find! Links for more info on these (click): UWL-H100 Type 2 Dome Unit II I paid $970 for both, asking $800 plus shipping USA only 4) Inon UCL-165 M67 wet macro lens. I belive this is a +7 diopter, which helps overcome the RX100's known macro issue. This lens is in great condition and was not used much at all. I used the WA lens on most of the dives. Links for more info on this (click): UCL-165m67 I paid $179, asking $135 plus shipping USA only 5) Nauticam Flexitray with both handles & two Nauticam ball mounts. This is a great tray & handle, and is easy to adjust -- this sets it apart from cheaper tray sets. The handles are comfortable and easy to grip Links for more info on these (click): Flexitray (left handle) Right Handle Ball Mounts I paid $202, asking $175 plus shipping USA only 6) Nauticam Compact Housing (Sea & Sea mount) to Inon fiber optic sync cables (two). These allow fiber optic connection between Nauticam compact housings with the Sea & Sea connection to Inon strobes (eg Z-240 etc). These will not work for DSLR housings. Asking $90 shipped USA for both! Want the whole set?? Asking price is $2775 for all individually, the whole system will be $2650 shipped w/insurance. I have about $3500 in this system, and with very little use, this is a great deal for someone. Photos (remember the link above for a lot more photos of the stuff):

  11. Selling my underwater photography setup due to a realisation that as much as I want to, I only dive about half a dozen times a year. My system is based on the Sony RX100, which was critically regarded as the leader in the compact camera field for underwater photography. The entire setup includes: Sony RX100 with spare battery Nauticam NA-RX100 housing (100m depth rating) 2 x Sea&Sea YS-01 strobes with protective coats Inon UWL-H100 28 M67 Type 2 - 67mm thread wide angle lens (100 degree angle of view) Inon UCL-100 M67 close up lens 67mm double lens holder 2 x fibre optic cables Nauticam Flexi-tray with left and right handle, mounting ball, clams, arms The total price for all this when purchased was well over $3400. Selling package only. Please don't contact me offering to purchase individual items. Total price for the package is $2200 (plus postage + insurance). Contact: daniel@kana.photography
  12. Hi, I am looking to buy the Inon Dome Unit II for UWL-H100. Please let me know if anyone is interested in selling theirs. Cheers, Claire
  13. Camera: Sony RX100 in Nauticam housing, two Inon Z-240 strobes, and either Inon UWL-H100 w/Dome or one or two UCL-165 macro lenses stacked. All taken using manual mode and PP in LR4. I am pretty happy with the results for the first go with this camera. Any feedback appreciated. Here's the link to the full album: Bonaire Diving 2013.
