  4. Hi, I am having issues getting sharp corners using the combination: Camera: Sony A6300 Housing: Ikelite Dome: 6 inch dome (5516.12) that is recommended by Ikelite (there is another 8 inch dome recommended too) If you see samples attached, they are shot at f8.0 and still show quite soft corners. I have been reading forums and tutorials, and I found 3 potential solutions but want advice before I invest in more gear required to test them 1. Get a bigger dome - there is an 8 inch dome from ikelite that fits this lens too. Not ideal as I have to purchase ANOTHER dome and its bigger and makes CFWA a bit harder which I like to do 2. Decrease aperture size more, like down to f12 or something - didn't actually test this during my trip because I didn't process the pictures until after, but f8.0 seems to be small enough based on what I've read from forums? 3. Get a close up lens - does not seem to have trouble focusing, but could be the edges are too close? Ikelite also does not say it needs a close up lens Any one with similar experience? Anyone with some ideas? Any input would be appreciated guys!
  5. Hi everyone, I shoot a Olympus E-M1 Mark II in a Nauticam housing and usually use the Olympus 7-14 mm lens and 60 mm macro in Nauticam ports. But I want to use my Olympus 8 mm fisheye more and have an old Zen DP-170 port that I was planning on using with it. My questions are: 1. Would I need an extension ring along with the Zen DP-170 port when using the Olympus 8 mm PRO lens? 2. Is there a better choice of ports for CFWA close focus wide angle type of shooting? Thanks so much! Bogdan
  6. Hey guys, Curious if anyone has made the switch from the Sony 16-35 F4 to the new 16-35 F2.8 G-Master? Obviously, for underwater purposes the extra stop isn't a huge game changer, but topside it certainly does. Also, wondering how corner sharpness is when stopped down on both to about f5.6-8?
  7. Selling my D300 and housing plus a lot of accessories as I switched to a mirrorless setup and have not been using this. The housing was sent to Ikelite for service and they actually replaced the main housing because of a small crack and the electronics, so everything related to the housing is new or like new. You will notice some tape around the circumference of the lens - this is to hold a piece of plastic the mates with the zoom gear for the housing and there is nothing functionally wrong with the lens. Included in this sale is the following: Nikon D300 camera (with original box, manuals, body cap, strap, cables) Sigma 10-20 DC HSM lens Ikelite housing for D300 Tray and handles for D300 housing Sync cord for single strobe zoom gear wide angle port 8" dome with neoprene cover battery charger Guide to the D300 by Thom Hogan 4 CF cards to 32 GB with waterproof case Asking $2350 for everything or would consider breaking up and selling individual items.

Contact me at riccifrancesco1989@gmail.com. Freight at buyer expenses. Setup price 2200 AUD The setup includes: Canon G16 Macro lens adapter Wide angle lens adapter Nauticam housing (little scretch on the glass, it doesn't absolutely show in pictures) Left and Right Handles with harness to mount strobes Inon S100ZM80 wide angle lens Inon S100ZM80 dome unit 2 Batteries Charger
  9. I'm selling my Ikelite 8" modular dome + 2.75" lens extension (Ikelite product numbers 5510.45 and 5510.11). Used only a few times (literally, 3 or 4). Bought it without checking if my Nikkor 14-24mm would fit, which it doesn't, and after borrowing a 15mm prime from a friend I actually figured out that I don't like wide angle photography underwater so much. In mint condition. Comes with protective hood. Manufacturer's image of said product: http://www.ikelite.com/images/products/accessories/5511.1/5511.1-dome-kit-a.jpg I'm thinking in a price range of P20,000 or EUR400 (RRP for this set is US$550 / EUR525). I'm on Camiguin, Philipppines. Shipping costs for the buyer, within the Philippines it will be shipped insured via LBC. Price depending on destination. Since regular postal services are not very reliable here, and other services virtually unaffordable, I don't want/dare to ship this outside the Philippines. Payment via COD (in Philippines) or IBAN/SEPA transfer to my European account. Drop me a message if interested.
  10. Up for sale is a used Nauticam WWL-1 lens. The lens has been used sparingly, and shows very little signs of use. Attached to various 28mm lenses, using either Nauticam's proprietary bayonet or a standard M67 mount, the lens has a 130-degree perspective, great for close focus wide angle. The lens also allows for zoom-through using kit-type lenses, making this a very flexible lens to use underwater. The lens can be attached and removed underwater. The lens sells for USD 1150 new. The hard cap USD 80; float collar USD 50. All totaled, this cost $1280. I will sell this lens with the mounts, caps and collar for $800 plus shipping. Please see photographs of the lens here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/craigfuj2/albums/72157679631933914 Please see a compatibility chart here: http://www.bluewaterphotostore.com/nauticam-wet-wide-lens-130-83201

  12. I'm upgrading so this is up for sale: Inon UWL-H100 28LD + Inon Hood Fisheye FiX LDF-M67Pro (28LD to M67 adapter) Inon Neoprene bag Pristene condition. Used on 7 dives. No scratches, no signs of wear or tear, barely used! PM me if interested.
  13. I have a Dyron SWAL13 that I have been using with my Canon G7X in a Nauticam NA-G7X housing with the N50 short port. The relative price, wide FOV, and Blue Water Photo test results (http://www.bluewaterphotostore.com/canon-g7x-underwater-lens-tests) are what led me to the SWAL13. Thus far I have found that getting photos with razor sharp focus with this lens/camera combination is nearly impossible. The very wide field of view is great for composing big shots but many of them end up having soft focus and are barely usable. Any ideas why this might be the case? I have not had the same type of focus problem when shooting with my CMC-1 macro lens or no wet accessory lens. Here are a few example photos that I feel show this problem: https://jonjake.smugmug.com/El-Nido-2016/i-6VmGkHQ/A ( f/8, 1/40s, ISO 125) https://jonjake.smugmug.com/Cozumel-2016/i-6KVw3K4/A (f/8, 1/80s, ISO 200) https://jonjake.smugmug.com/Central-California/i-r4shgL5/A (f/8, 1/60s, ISO 200) I have read some recommendations that suggest locking focus on your fin at the beginning of a dive when shooting wide angle and others that say to put your camera in Macro mode when shooting with a wet wide angle lens. Any suggestions or tips that I can try would be greatly appreciated!

This film was one of the lucky 10 minute films accepted into the San Diego Undersea Film Exhibition. It's got a good variety of dialogue, aerial shots, and of course underwater, macro and wide angle. Curious to hear what your feedback is. Any constructive criticism is always appreciated. Enjoy! Dustin

  24. Price: $595.00 Payment method: PayPal Item condition: 9+ Shows little or no signs of wear Shipping instructions: CONUS ONLY via USPS Priority Mail Mint Condition. Very little use and works/focuses perfectly. Glass is flawless. No Case, but box, caps and Instruction book included. BIG BONUS >>> I have added the "Olympus Modification." This is the addition of a filter holder (from the Panny 8mm Fisheye), to the rear of the lens in order to add a gel filter. This helps eliminate the occasional, known issue of purple fringing or purple blobs when used on some OLY cameras. (Not an issue on Panny cameras) The holder and filter are visible in the photos and obviously, you can insert or remove the filters easily. Right now I have the Kodak Wratten 2E Filter inserted, which is a slight bit too yellow, but can be corrected for. The recommended filter is the 2A. A bit hard to find, but often available on eBay or other forums. Great Lens, but I decided to get the OLY f/2.8 7-14 instead. If you want more info on the purple fringing problem, and how well the filter works, you can read this: http://alanwatsonforster.org/writing/mft-purple.html
  25. I am planning to go on a liveaboard in the Red Sea. I am undecided between two itineraries: - Get Wrecked: all the famous wrecks like Thistlegorm and Rosalie Muller - Simply the best: Brothers Islands, Elphinstone, Daedalus I am an uw photog beginner, mainly interested in wide angle. Which would be a good start for me?
