  4. I recently purchased a Zen dp-100-NT port second hand to use on my Nauticam housing. It came with a Sea&Sea blue o-ring, but no silicone. Is it safe to use Nauticam silicone on the o-ring or does it need to be Sea&Sea silicone? As my housing is coming in from maintenance today, I'd really love to take the Zen for a dive tomorrow, but I am scared of using he wrong grease and possibly causing a flood. Anyone with experience on this?

  6. Zen DP-230 Optical Glass Dome Port in Excellent Condition Overall very clean with two minor surface blemishes that do not affect image quality. Going to start teaching the wife to shoot underwater and no need for her to bang up this beautiful dome. Live very close to Reef Photo so I'm willing to accommodate the buyer and pick up the bayonet mount you have to use with your housing. Buyer Pays Actual Shipping and Actual Cost of Bayonet PM me for additional images but as you can see by these the dome is in Excellent Condition. Have all original packaging. $1500

  9. Hello All, I’m switching from a Sony A7 to a GH5/S, and I need a recommendation for a dome. I have the Nauticam housing for the A7 which I use with the Nikonos 15mm lens so I didn’t needed a dome. I’m getting the Nauticam housing for the GH5, I’m searching for a dome for the Pana 12-35mm II and Pana 8-18mm lenses. Nauticam option is the 180mm dome ref. 18809, Zen option seems to be the 170mm dome ref. zen-dp170-n85II. Price is the same for both domes. I would be tempted by the Zen model because it’s smaller (slightly?). With your experience which one would you recommend? Thanks! Claude

  12. Hello, I am looking at adding the Olympus 8mm fisheye to my setup. Does anyone know the best dome port to use? Zen list it for use with the 100mm and also the 170mm ports. What would optically give the best results?? I have also seen that Nauticam do a 140mm port, I assume this is probably the best optical option?? Do the Nauticam ports have the coating like the Zen ones to reduce flare? I have looked at the web site but it just seems to list it. Thanks.
  13. For sale is the Zen 100mm Fisheye Dome Port for Nauticam housings, Tokina 10-17 lens. Excellent condition, no scratches. Part # DP-100-N120T $899 new, asking $650 or best offer. Open to offers. Will load pictures asap. From Bluewater Photo: This is a small 4-inch glass dome port for use with the Tokina 10-17mm or Nikon 10.5mm fisheye lens on Nauticam housings. For close-focus wide angle work, Zen Underwater is turning conventional 'big dome' wisdom on its ear with a new 100mm (4") dome port. Designed specifically for the Nikon DX AF Fisheye-Nikkor 10.5mm f/2.8G ED and the Tokina Fisheye 10-17mm F3.5-4.5 DX zoom, the DP-100 allows the photographer to get in close where a large dome just won't go for stunning close focus wide angle images. As an added bonus, at only 340g (12oz.), the DP-100 fisheye dome port offers welcome relief to the luggage bloat of dive photo travel and the ever increasing expense associated with checking large heavy camera systems. Small and Lightweight Great for close-focus wide angle photography Includes Front Dome Cap Underwater Photos from the Zen 100mm glass dome for the Tokina fisheye The Zen 4-inch glass dome for the Tokina 10-17mm fisheye lens is awesome. Zen makes versions for almost any housing brand, including Ikelite, Sea & Sea, Nauticam, Hugyfot and more. It is difficult to scratch (unlike the regular port), very small for travel, light underwater, very sharp, and it allows me to place my dome in small places where a larger dome would interfere with the subject. I like to get REALLY CLOSE to my close-focus wide-angle subjects, and the ZEN 4-inch dome let's me do that. Lighting the subject is easier than when I use a larger dome, and I like not having to use an extension ring. The only disadvantage is that you can't do over/under shots. That, and the fact that there is no good neoprene cover that will stay on the port. So protect your port! I recommend this setup for both cropped-sensor and full-frame dSLRs - Scott Gietler
  14. My Zen DP-170 Port (http://reefphoto.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=6302) that I was using with the 7-14mm & GH4 recently met the rough end of a shark cage. It's nicked in a couple spots (see pictures), but I figured I'd throw it up here and see if anyone was interested. I shoot video so it's pretty tough to photoshop the blemishes out, but for stills it's manageable. Worse when shooting directly into the sun. Open to offers! For what it's worth I also have a nicked Panasonic 7-14mm (separate incident), if anyone is interested in taking both to get a pretty cheap setup for wide stills.

  20. I've got a trip planned in October where there will be much larger pelagic life than where I'm at, so I need some wider angle stuff. I'm looking for an Olympus m. Zuiko 9-18mm lens and the corresponding Zen WA-100 port. I would prefer getting both as a package together, but I'm fine with buying individually as well. Zip code is 98117 in the USA. Thank you.

  24. I am in the process to upgrade to full frame (Sony A7) and need some advice in the dome port department. I am looking for an ideal port for fisheye lenses (various solutions, converted 2/28 at first). Am I looking the right place with these? Ikelite 200mm, Seacam 160mm fisheye port, Zen 170mm Does anyone have experience with the Seacam? It it worth the price premium vs the Ikelite/Zen? (Housing is undecided yet)
