  4. Hi all, I have been using various Powershot and G series cameras in the Canon OEM housings for my underwater photography needs but I want to take the plunge and get my 5D MKIII underwater. I have a 24-105mm lens but its f4 aperture probably isn't going to be the best so I'm looking at the Canon 16-35mm II f2.8. Regardless of what lens I plump for my first question is which housing people recommend. I hear that Ikelites are the most prone to leaking and I was looking at Nauticam...they seem to be the most robust but most expensive. What are peoples views on housings and then lens combos with those housings? Many thanks in advance all, Adam
  5. I'm a traveling glamour photographer shooting models on beaches. We were going to a remote dive resort in Fiji so I bought this complete set-up last month for their famous tiger shark dives. Didn't get enough free time to do more than 4 total dives with this rig (2 tank shark dive @60', 1hr pool session filming the models doing Discover Scuba class, 1 hr shore dive filming models doing first ocean dive in Discover class). Overall I don't see myself dragging this case around to many other events, I just have too much above water gear to begin with and for lighting I really do enough video it makes sense for me to have video lights. This kit is as PERFECT as you can get, here's your chance to get a complete rig for half of what you'd normally spend! 100% functional and perfect cosmetic condition. Housing works with the Canon 5D mkIII, 5DS, 5DR and the latest 5D mkIV models (must install the included rubber washer kit). Some of the pieces below have not been used at all (like the flat port assembly I bought to do macro stuff with my 100mm macro lens, only was too busy all week working on above water model shoots to do the nudibranch dives!). Here's what you get: Ikelite 6871.03 Housing for Canon 5D Mark III (5D mkiv with included kit below) Ikelite 5510.45 8" Dome Ikelite 5510.35 Flat Port Assembly Ikelite 5509.27 Standard Zoom Clamp/Sleeve Ikelite 5509.28 Special Zoom Clamp/Sleeve Ikelite 4070.01 SA-100 Arm/Single Cord Kit Ikelite 1061.1 DS161 Strobe (x2) Ikelite 4067 Li-Ion battery (x2) Ikelite 4067.1 Li-Ion battery charger Ikelite 4080.02 Double Ball Arm Ikelite 4080.05 Compact Ball Arm Ikelite 4080.06 Ultralight Double Ball Arm Ikelite 5510.28 Port Ikelite 5510.22 Mod Port Ikelite 5510.11 Mod Port Ikelite 4103.51 Single TTL Cord (x2) Ikelite 4103.52 Dual TTL Cord Ikelite 9295.02 update kit mkiv (can be reversed and used for mkiii) Ikelite 945.01 Strap Wrench for port Ikelite 200.5 Flat port Neoprene Cover Owners manuals, warranty paperwork, lube, gaskets, tools and spare pieces all included, even the original boxes and padding each came in! As a bonus, I also have a 3rd party dome housing for a GoPro Hero5. Good to about 15' deep, it's an acrylic dome with a housing for the Hero5, floating handle and removable trigger system that allows you to capture amazing 1/2 below water shots. Perfect for snorkeling or pool work (we used it to film new divers going through their Discover Scuba dive). Also a Pelican 1615 Wheeled AIR case with foam cut for all of the above (total weight with everything above in the case is only 38 lbs!) with a little bit of room to spare for extras. Total cost for everything above (obviously, the camera body and lenses are not included!) was around $9,000.00 new. Asking $4,000.00 obo. Might be willing to separate a few of the generic pieces and case if you're just looking for the housing and already have your own lights. I'm in Philadelphia, PA USA, willing to ship worldwide at buyers expense, or meet anywhere in the greater Try-state area at no charge. PM your email if you'd like higher res or additional pics.
  6. Aloha Gang, I have a Canon 5D mark3 camera body and Ikelite housing that I will be putting on eBay sometime in January if no one here wants it. $3000.00 including shipping to the USA. It is one housing with no ports (although we can talk about ports and I may be able to help you there). The camera is body only, with body cap, one battery and charger. There are a few images here and you can see many more at the following link..... http://fleetham.photoshelter.com/gallery/CANON5Dmk3-IKE/G00003V7Sxf2nX1M Both are in perfect working order. They will be replaced with a 5D markIV. David Fleetham dfleetham@gmail.com
  7. I bought this housing brand new from Reef Photo and used it with great love and care (never flooded) since the summer of 2012. I had the Nauticam vacuum system installed last year but it will need an M16 Valve because I needed to take it off for my new 5DMKIV housing. The housing was fully cleaned and serviced in February of 2016 and it has only been in the water (freshwater at that) once since. My price is $2,150 which I am told is fair. You probably already know what you are looking at it if you are at Wetpixel but if you want to read more about the housing you can learn more about it at the Nauticam website. Below is a picture of the actual housing I am selling but you can see a lot more pics here. I have done my best to document the normal wear and tear as it appears but this is a fully functional housing that only needs a camera and a port to go under. Contact me with questions.
  8. Hi guys, I am looking to upgrade to a nauticam housing, does anybody have a NA-5DMKIII they want to sell? If so, please feel free to contact me either here or via message on instagram @emiliakerr Thank you, Emilia.

  13. The housing is in excellent condition. Has never seen salt. Used in trout rivers half a dozen times. One of the two bulkheads has been converted for HDMI. Sold my 5D MKII housing to Ron Micjan, who had posted a wanted classified here a while back. All equipment was purchased through Russ at Backscatter. There are a couple very faint scratches on the viewfinder and nicks in the finish on the bottom, but it looks brand new otherwise. I'm moving to a more compact system, so I'm also selling the following in excellent condition unless noted otherwise... 8" dome port w/neoprene cover $350 Has a couple small nicks that have not shown up in any of my work, hence low price. Great condition otherwise. http://www.housingcamera.com/id2797-sea-and-sea-ss-30116.html Standard Flat Port $200 http://www.housingcamera.com/id2825-sea-and-sea-ss-56101.html DX Macro Port 50 $175 http://www.divervision.com/seaandsea-dx-macro-port-50-30106.html?language=en¤cy=USD&gclid=CMDfzJnxoMECFSVo7AodnXoA9w DX Macro Port Base $150 http://www.divervision.com/seaandsea-dx-macro-port-base-30105.html Manual focusing gear for Canon L 100 macro IS USM (working prototype Russ got ahold of for me long ago) $75 Sigma 15mm 2.8 EX DG Diagonl Fisheye AF Lens $375 http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/407592-USA/Sigma_476101_15mm_f_2_8_EX_DG.html Sigma 50mm 2.8 EX DG Macro AF Lens $200 http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/341925-USA/Sigma_346101_50mm_f_2_8_EX_DG.html Kenko Teleplus Pro 300 DGX 1.4x AF Teleconverter $100 Will sell pieces individually, but am offering a discount of $3,500 for the package Photos available upon request. 15. Hi Wetpixel. I just got the new v2 housing with the new number 17315, whereas the old was 17305. When I first asked around about the differences (still no info about that on Nauticams webpage), I was quoted it was only a weight reduction thing. After receiving it, and with all the extra equipment along with it, I have found out the following: It does come with two handle balls. It does come with the Handle Brackets (25055). It has the new vacuum test circuit installed, not just leak detection (the v1 did not). You still need the vacuum valve for it to work though. It has the new strobe prism (26312) for use of YS-D1 with fiber optics installed. It has an extra M16 port. There is also a slight change in the position of the Info-button, which have moved slightly to the left. So I have sent a few things back to my dealer, and just wanted to let the rest of the community know this for future reference. /Björn
