I have upgraded to a D800 system and am offering my D700 system for sale. Included is the camera body only and housing only both in perfect working order. You will need lens(es) of your choice and the appropriate ports, domes and extensions. I would be happy to discuss my full setup, suggest possibilities for you and point you to readily accessible sources for purchase of these additional items. Nikon D700 Camera is in excellent condition. I purchased it new in 2009 and have well maintained it ever since. I have used the plastic LCD screen protector at all times, so the screen is clear and unmarred. Included in the sale is everything that originally came with the camera, including body cap, monitor cover, battery, battery charger, strap, manual, etc., all in the original retail box. Current retail price new is $2,300. Aquatica AD700 This housing, made specifically for the D700, is in very good condition. It is equipped with the dual Nikonos bulkhead. The housing has a few isolated, small cosmetic dings but is otherwise in perfect working condition. I purchased it new in 2009. I have faithfully rinsed and lubed it after every dive. I’m guessing it’s been on a little over 200 dives and has never malfunctioned. I had routine service performed by a factory authorized repair center at the beginning of the year. Included are the housing, spare O-ring for the back, Aquatica instruction manual, all in the original retail box. Current retail price new is $3,100. I will sell both together for $3,500. $1800 OBO + Shipping I loved this set up. Aquatica camera housing is a great shape with new and updated parts that have never been used. The megadome is scratched but does not affect photo quality. I have finally decided to upgrade my underwater setup to use my D800 and thus want to see my Aquatica housing for the Nikon D700. I will also sell my beloved D700 body if you do not already have one, but am willing to sell the housing without the camera. The Aquatica housing (AD700) is excellent, very robust, and has never flooded. It is easy to care for and has been all over the world with me. It has 2 5-pin Nikonos bulkheads, but Aquatica now has Ikelite and fibre optic bulkheads available that can be installed instead. There is a moisture detector, but a vacuum sensor is available and can be installed in this housing. I have had the housing serviced several times, but always recommend a servicing when purchasing a used housing. Since I am located in Montreal (where Aquatica is located), I would be happy to arrange for the servicing to be done before sending the housing to you. I love the D700. It has provided me with many excellent photos, and it still astonishes me with its low light performance. It remains in very good condition. I no longer have the original packaging, but it comes with the battery charger, several spare batteries, the LCD cover, the body cap, USB cable, and the manual.
