  1. A few years ago when the D700 and 14-24mm were announced, I was pretty excited about the possibility of using this lens underwater on FX. At the time there were sevral technical issues that prevented most from using it UW. I've been out of the dive community for a while but now I finallly have both an FX camera (D600) and the 14-24mm and am really enjoying using it topside. I'm trying to work out weather to house this combination or the D7000/11-16mm underwater. I understand that Ikelite does not currently have a solution for the 14-24mm. What are your experiences? What FX lenses are people using underwater? Has anyone mastered the 14-24mm on FX underwater? On the DX D70 with Ikelite housing and 8" dome I found the Sigma 14mm, Nikon 10.5 mm and 12-24mm worked pretty well. I have since pitched the 12-24mm in favor of the 11-16mm and have a D7000 with no housing. Should I Adorama the D7000 and 11-16 and just house the D600? Or am I better off with DX and a smaller WA zoom that takes filters too? Finally I get the FX I want but still confused.
