  1. Selling my Zen DP-100 mini dome, nauticam fitting. Please note, there is a small blemish on the glass as shown in the photos. I bought this dome port with the intention of buying a fisheye lens at a later date, but never got around to it. The original owner stated that the blemish did not affect image quality. I have done my best to show the mark, however I'm also including a few grains of dust free of charge to show scale. It also come with a Nauticam rear port cap, and an adapted hard plastic front dome cover to protect it. £450 + shipping from the UK The Zen Underwater minidome is a high-quality optical glass dome port which has been designed with close-focus-wide-angle photographic techniques in mind. It is very compact and lightweight (weighing only 340g), indeed the perfect travel companion. The Zen minidome allows the photographer to get in close where a large dome just won't go for stunning close focus wide angle images. Due to its small size, it is only compatible with fisheye lenses. More information can be found at http://www.zenunderwater.com.

  3. For sale, a lightly used Aquatica 4" mini glass dome. Probably only used on about 20-25 dives. Glass is in perfect condition, no blemishes. A few dots of wear around the exterior shade, hardly noticeable and only cosmetic. I've been carrying this around as a backup dome and it was rarely used. Also included: 1 o-ring, original neoprene cove, and will throw in a second cover I had custom sewn that is actually usable (the original was never used, and is basically a joke to try and put on... really tight). Sorry no longer have the original box from manufacturer. $450 and will include free U.S. shipping
  4. Aquatica Mini Dome, nearly new, perfect condition $500, free shipping in the states, all other have to pay shipping.
  5. I upgraded my camera gear and I have too much camera stuff around the house. Things can be sold separately, and buyer pays shipping. I live in Hawaii, so if you need it fast it will cost a little bit more. I have had this gear for a long time. I bought the housing used, and I have used it almost every day for the past two years. Some of the outside coating paint is chipped off but it does not effect the housing. Definitely a good camera housing for somebody looking to get into underwater photography as a hobby. The A20 housing is discontinued and the bulkheads for the strobes do not work and parts are unavailable . The ports (except 8 in) are all in good shape, just minor nicks on the outsides, glass is good. The 8 inch dome has some wear on its surface. I also have resealed it using 5200. The glass separated from the metal a year ago when I was hiking into a beach and early in the morning and when I hiked out it was 20 degrees hotter and the air inside had expanded and separated it. You can see the glue (white) in the picture. I still use it. I free dive down to 60+ feet with it and it holds up. Still good for over-unders, but it could use a good polishing. The strobes work great. One had a battery explode in it 3 years ago, but after cleaning it has not had any problems. For more pictures of certain items just let me know. Aquatica: - A20 housing comes with canon 20D body $BO - mini dome (18410) $600 - macro port for Canon 60mm (18429) $300 - back port cover (18790) $50 - port extension ring (18456) $200 - port extension ring (18457) $200 - zoom gear for tokina 10-17 $100 - 8in dome port with shade $150 Sea & Sea - 5-pin sync cords x3 $100 each - Pair of YS-90 Duo strobes $500
  6. Hi there, I was wondering what are the positives and negatives of using a mini dome (4") with a fisheye lens compared to a larger dome, and which you would recommend. I have read a good post by Alex Mustard on the subject, who says good things and bad things about them, and doesn't really come to a definitive answer. I like the fact that a mini dome would enable CFWA shots, which aren't possible with a larger dome, but Alex also says that the optical quality is not as good? How much worse is it?? What are everyones thoughts on this?

  9. Hello, I've just tried to use Sigma 15mm + kenko 1,4x with a 4" mini-dome (with Nikon D800). Above water no problem, AF was ok in all the range, but underwater I realized that I couldn't focus at the minimum, and the minimal focus distance got longer than above water of about 8cm. Is it normal? It's due to the dimension/shape of the dome? I think to try to use an extension of 1,5cm betweeen dome and housing, should this help? Thank for any suggestion.
