I would like to use Nauticam Shinobi with my Ikelite 200DL Underwater Housing for Canon EOS 90D DSLR. I installed Nauticam M16 Standard HDMI Bulkhead but I can not connect camera to the bulkhead inside the housing with the HDMI cables that are provided with the Nauticam housing. If I use "I" shape micro on the bulkhead, there is no space as it is going over camera controls (see photo). The second cable is "L" shape micro - that fits perfectly, but on the other end of the cable is also micro connector, and I need mini "L" connector. Is there any suggestions. I have spend 1 months looking for appropriate cable on the internet! Ikelite does not have suggestion. best regards, ante -

Hi all, Last year I purchased a whole Nauticam setup for underwater macro photography (spending just short of £9k!). I went a bit far with my purchases and bought the Nauticam Housing for Small HD 502 5-inch HD Monitor with the intention to also shoot video. I was a little too ambitious with my purchases as I am still very much perfecting my macro photography and have no idea of when I intend to move into shooting video. So my perfect, never been used, Nauticam Housing for Small HD 502 5-inch HD Monitor (which is still in its box and only purchased April 2018) is up for sale. I appreciate that the item is classified as second hand now that I've had for almost one year. But it has never been used and still in its original box. So I will only be accepting fair offers. I am based in Essex, United Kingdom, so happy to meet up with someone to show them the goods for the sale if they are within a 25-mile radius. Many thanks for your time reading this... Hello everyone, I have Ikelite housing for Sony A7Rii, and I am thinking about purchasing a Small HD502 monitor with Nauticam housing NA-502H, but not sure if they are compatible (to me they should be). I contacted Backscatter, and they are not sure, saying that "routing of a cable inside of Ikelite housing may or may not work". I am not impressed with their answer, considering that they are one of the biggest sellers of UW equipment. Does anyone has the same monitor with Ikelite housing or used Nauticam/Small monitor with Ikelite housing? I will appreciate your feedback. Many thanks, Val

Hi all Anyone know if a HDMI recorder for 4K 60fps exists in a small and cheap packages? No monitor is required. The Atomos shugon records well, but is very expensive and so are the housings. It must be possible to get just a recorder, no monitor, fair battery life, low price, that will record as soon as it get a record signal from maybe the GH5 or other cameras. I imaging there would be a lot of us that would like to find such one. Any ideas?

For sale: Nauticam NA-DP4 housing monitor and SmallHD 4.3" monitor This housing and monitor were built in 2012, and they have worked well with a Canon 7D, Nikon D800, and Nikon D7000. Both the housing and the monitor are in excellent cosmetic condition and perfect working condition. With the above (and likely newer Canon and Nikon bodies), this was and is a fabulous tool for any stills or video shooter, as the monitor/housing worked well and quickly (without a lot of steps required) with those cameras for both stills and video shooting. I used it often, and it became essential when I was shooting video. I stopped using it a lot about two years ago when I started using a Panasonic GH4 camera. I ended up using the GH4 body's LCD screen for most of my shooting, particularly wide shots for stills and video, and the LCD screen worked great. I used the monitor/housing for those occasions when I was shooting macro and needed to see the image over the camera body. It took a while to sync up (requires you to power the camera, monitor etc up in a particular sequence) but once it got going in video mode, it worked well. I would not use this monitor with the GH4 to shoot stills -- it is too slow to show an image preview and then go back to live view. It's a testament to the durability and design of the smallHD monitor and the Nauticam housing that it still works after three generations of digital camera technology. The smallHD housing comes with a battery plate that accepts two Canon type LP-E6 batteries. Complete with everything in the photos: SmallHD monitor, housing, moisture sensor, mounting ball, non-OEM charger and two batteries (Canon type LP-E6). HDMI bulkhead (Nauticam M14 Vacuum Valve, p/n# 25611) and internal HDMI cord also included. If we agree on a purchase, I'll look in my workshop and will include any other accessories that came with the SmallHD monitor -- but the above will be all you need to get underwater. Asking $875. Please confirm with an expert (I am not one) whether this system will work with your camera and housing. It's made for Nauticam housings and will install in one of their bulkhead holes (I think size M12). I am happy to send this out for evaluation after we discuss the situation via email, but any buyer wishing to return these items will have to pay the return shipping as well as the outbound shipping. Purchased in July 2017, this housing has only been used once. The housing is in excellent condition, no marks or scratches – like new!! I bought it thinking I would use it for my underwater photography. Although it worked fine – it added extra weight and bulk to my DSLR setup. Since I don’t shoot video, it’s not worth the extra weight/space (to me). Paid $1600 USD, asking $1200 USD (plus postage). I am also selling the SmallHD monitor in another post. Hi all, I am ready to make the step from still photography to video. I am using a Nauticam 7d setup. I am looking out for general tips on shooting video with this setup. Also which lens would you prefer? Tokina 10-17 for his quality or sigma 17-70 for his greater zoom range. What would be the first to invest in? *video light *extension ring with focus knob *external monitor *... Any must read books or great workshops on dslr underwater videography? Looking forward to hear some opinions and hear some tips. Thanks in advance!

Hey guys, I know this topic has been brought up in the past but, does anyone know if there is a was to hook up an external video monitor to the GH4 Ikelite housing. Ive done some research and unfortunately most of it seems like its a DIY type of thing. I Nauticam the only ones that give this option with the bulkhead? Has anyone tried modifying the TTL bulkhead on the Ikelite housing? If anyone has successfully added a monitor i would love to here how or see pictures. Thanks! -

I am selling my Dive and See 7" HDMI external video monitor. I have used this monitor on my Amphibico Rouge housing, but I have sold the housing without the monitor so I now no longer have a need for it. I have all the cables and bulkhead fittings for both video and DSLR housings (the Rouge uses a larger diameter bulkhead). I also used it on a DLSR housing prior to the Rouge. I have right angle HDMI to HDMI mini adapters for DSLR use. It's an exceptionally good monitor that is extremely rugged. It has the DVI mode so that you can send clean HDMI to it that does not lose sync and blank out momentarily when you start recording like the cheaper monitors do. It has a screen protector on it, so the actual plexiglass viewport has never been exposed to any possibility of scratching. Retail with all of the cables and bulkheads was a little over $2800. Will sell for $1250 OBO. Since I no longer have a housing, I'm a highly motivated seller. PayPal OK. The monitor is currently in the US and packaged for shipment.
