  5. Like new - purchased in 2017 and used on 3 dive trips only. The housing is in excellent condition, there are only a couple marks on the bottom of the housing (please review the photos carefully). All original accessories and packaging are included. The package includes M16 vacuum valve with pump (valued at $220) and leak detection circuit. This is a great housing - it has never flooded (it is hard to flood a Nauticam housing with the vacuum pump and leak detection system). I am only selling it because I upgraded to the D850. Asking $1500. Will ship free (including insurance) anywhere in the continental US.

  10. FS: Nikon D810/800 SPL A-Series Housing w/ one port for 17-35 f/2.8 Perfect condition, no bumps bruises or repairs. I have lubed the seals every 3 weeks to keep them moist. I've never had any issues and used this housing with great success for photos and video. While the port is sized for the 17-35 I've used it with a 28, 50, 85, 35-70, and had great results. It can be used with any lens shorter then the 17-35 (106mm in length) that has a longer focal length, and can be used with some that don't fit that bill like the 28mm 1.8 g. While this is a surf housing it handles depth fine. The owner has said they handle depth as well as any dive housing but he markets them to surfers and doesn't rate them for depth because they are best used as surf/action sport housings. Come with Camera Housing One port is included Detachable Pistol Grip Detachable Side Grip Neoprene port cover O-ring grease Spare nuts and wings all tools needed to adjust/ alter housing configuration (wrench and allen key) Pricing Everything above - $1400 Everything above + D810 (9.5/10, 28,xxx, Clicks) - $3300 Everything above + D810 + 17-35 (9.5/10) - $4000

  12. For years my trusty Nikon D300 in a nexus housing has served me well. It works great but I recently upgraded to a Nikon D810 and am planning on getting another Nexus housing. That was the easy decision. I've gone from DX to FX and from 12 megapixel to 36. But, the transition means my trusty Tokina 10-17 with its dedicated port won't fit the new housing. So, since I will have to get a new port I am thinking of which lens. I have a 14-24 that I use for landscape photography and love it. But I don't want to to take it underwater. I have a 16 mm fish eye which is an old lens but a good one. I have also considered the 16-35, the older 17-35, nikon 20mm, & Sigma 15 mm fisheye. I just learned Tokina makes a 16-28 2.8 FX. Does anyone use this lens and if so is it as good as the Tokina 10-17 DX. Since most of my underwater work these days is with whales, this lens could work well. Would love to hear about experiences with this lens.... Aloha!
  13. Hi folks, Nikon rumors have posted a cached copy of an early hands-on review of the new Nikon D810: http://nikonrumors.com/2014/06/25/nikon-d810-leaks-hours-before-the-announcement.aspx/ The actual leak lis from a UK site called ExpertReviews and although it has been removed, there is a cached copy here. The camera seems very similar in layout to the D800/D800e, although the Bracketing button and the Metering mode switch have been swapped in position. This will mean that existing housings will enable to access metering mode still, but probably not bracketing. The article also speaks ominously of a change in the shape of the handgrip which may presents a bigger challenge for existing D800 housing owners. Specs include better frame rate, higher ISO, improved AF and S-RAW capability. Stay tuned to the Wetpixel Full page for the full announcement from Nikon tomorrow, and we will keep you posted on housing compatibility too... Adam
