Been a member of this great resource for quite a while and in the past few years I have used the classifieds section quite often (to great results). But I have not shared any photos in a very long time, so I'm definitely overdue. Going to try and do that a bit more often. I'll start with some shot from my last dive . . . Thanks, J.C.

Hello Everyone, Wanted to share my latest underwater short video. I finally got some good footage of some emperor shrimp while I was in PNG. They are known to be fast and elusive to the videographer. So it was nice to have some cooperate. As always, comments and constructive criticism, are certainly welcome. Enjoy! Dustin Or Youtube

Our critter & nudibranch trips have been proving so popular we are running more in 2013. For 2013 we have two more very unique and exciting trips to offer. Both will venture into our hottest sites around northern Sumbawa which has proven to be one of Indonesia’s best hunting grounds for nudibranchs and critters. On our recent trip to this area we recorded a grand total of 437 different species in 11 days on 41 dives. The much sought after Melibe colemani we hope to show the lucky ones on these forthcoming trips… Trip 1 – Bali-Bima-Labuan Bajo-Bali Dates and logistics 6th September 2013 arrive in Bali, overnight hotel 7th September depart Bali at 10.20am and arrive in Bima at 11.20am 17th September depart Labuan Bajo at 8.30am and arrive back in Bali at 9.50am Sample Itinerary We will be starting our diving in the bay of Bima with a great nudibranch site we found on last years trip before heading out to dive towards the mouth of Bima bay. Our aim on this trip is to possibly explore around the foothills of Mount Tambora (click here to check area map) and heading into Saleh Bay which has always caught my eye every time I fly over this area. The great thing about this route is that if we do not find enough interesting spots on our exploratory dives we simply cruise for a few hours and dive around the guaranteed sites of Sangeang island. We will spend at least 3-4 days on our guaranteed top spots on Sangeang island. For our last few days will be on northern Rinca where we have a killer site with a few really rare and much sought after species that we will be looking to show you. Price: EUR 2,640 per person (10 nights) Included: One night hotel in Bali, flights to & from airport including 30kg luggage, unlimited diving, nitrox, all meals, snacks, tea, coffee & water. Not Included: Canned and alcoholic beverages, equipment rental, gratuities. Optional Extras: If you are travelling through Bali before or after the trip why not add in North East of the island? Contact us for more information and prices. Diving 4 Images can look after every aspect of your trip including resorts and hotels before and after the trip. We can help you build a personalised itinerary to make sure that the trip runs like clock-work. If you would like us to arrange resorts or hotels, or any other aspect of your trip, just contact us! !!BOOK NOW - few spaces left!! Contact us Unknown Halgerda from Triton Bay October 2012 Trip 2 – Bali-Labuan Bajo-Maumere-Bali Dates and logistics 18th September 2013 arrive in Bali, overnight hotel 19th September depart Bali ar around 8am and arrive in Labuan Bajo around 9.30am 29th September depart Maumere at 7.40am and arrive back in Bali at 9.40am Sample Itinerary We will heading down to northern Rinca and dive on our hot critter/nudibranch site here for a few days before heading over to north Sumbawa where we will be diving on the very best of the last trips sites for at least 3-4 days before heading east. On our way towards Maumere we have a very new and exciting site to show everyone joining this trip. This is a site we called Crazy Beach which proved very productive for some really unusual species of nudibranchs along with a lot of other wish list critters. There is also a lush wall dive that may take a look at, in search of a few different opistobranch species in this very different habitat. We will stop further east on the north coast of Flores for a dive or two before heading north to the island of Raja (Paloe) where rich black sand and scattered reef is often home to a great variety of interesting opistobranch species, including one particular various predatory nudi that eats other opistobranchs. On our way into Maumere we may dive on one of my favorite reefs that is often rich in species before we head into the bay to dive our nudi rich mucky/seagrass site for the last day and a half. Price: EUR 2,684 per person (10 nights) Included: One night hotel in Bali, flights to & from airport including 30kg luggage, unlimited diving, nitrox, all meals, snacks, tea, coffee & water. Doing both trips For those wanting to do both trips back to back the rate will be EUR 6,861 which includes additional 2 nights stay in between trips in Labuan Bajo. The Boat Ondina under sail Ondina is fitted throughout in solid wood gives a really warming feeling throughout. The lounge area has good entertainments with videos, music CD’s and games at hand for those who may not be diving as much as others. A recent addition of an upper deck sunshade makes for a better place to dry off between dives, without burning in direct sun. The boat is designed for 16 guests though we will not be filling Ondina to the max to allow for more space onboard and more freedom underwater. Click here for more details about Ondina. If you are interested in nudibranch & critter trips in 2013 please contact us to hold a place or more details… Look forward to diving with you soon. Your cruise director & dive guide, Graham Abbott

Hello all: I was in the Philippines this last month, and had the good fortune of being able to film an extremely rare nudibranch. The Kalinga Ornata! To my knowledge, this is the only video of the nudibranch in a natural and behavioral standpoint. Even Roger Steene hasn't seen this nudibranch yet! After reviewing my footage that evening, I noticed that I caught it eating a Brittle Star. With it's translucent body, you can see the star moving around in the body. I didn't know it was feeding when I was shooting it. So that was a pleasant surprise! I am sorry for all the junk in the water. It was a very silty dive site, and being a night dive, my lights were attracting all sorts of critters. Let me know what you think of the video, and if you have ever seen this nudi before either video or photo. Thanks, Dustin

This is the time that the beautiful nudibranches spawn here on the west coast of Norway. So me and my buddy went for some nudibranch hunting! Since the waters are so cold during the winter ( 34F) our only option is a heavy duty drysuit. We managed one hour bottomtime, but then it was time to head for the surface to a hot cup of coffee! I use an canon 350d in an ikelite housing. 160ds strobes and a l&m sola 800 focus light.
