  2. Hi! I am searching for an underwater housing for the Canon S100. Additional equipment like diopter/macro lens and wide angle lens are also of interest. Cheers, Lars
  3. This is a great beginner setup. This has only been used by my wife on two live-aboard trips. The camera is in like-new condition. The housing has some small marring on the backside but the lens port is clean. Included is an extra battery and charger and a nice Crumpler case for the camera. The housing has an optical coupler for a strobe. Buyer pays shipping. 325 -- non-negotiable marc marc@robovet.net 951-676-6222 www.robovet.net
  4. I am currently using an Canon S100 in a recsea housing with adaptor for AD wet swaps. I have 2 x sea and sea strobes. I am using 2 x Inon 165AD macro lens. I just got back from Lembeh and the guide kept finding things that were too small for me using the two 165's. Is there any lens combination that I can use with the Recsea housing and my S100 that will let me full frame a critter that's say 5mm long? I have been offered a Olympus OM-D EM-1 Camera in a Nauticam housing that I know will solve the problem but I am otherwise happy with my present setup and a new lens or two or three will be a far cheaper option leaving more money for dive trips.

  7. Hi Folks, My wife got a brand new shiny Canon S100 and a FIX housing from Santa for Christmas and we're wondering what the best approach is for macro images. We'll be using an older S&S 110 strobe and plan to use an all manual set up for her to start. I'm curious about the sharpest settings for macro images. I have a Subsee +5 and 10 she'd like to play with too. We'd really appreciate any advice on preferred optical zoom settings and aperture to get her started so she can practise before we head to Lembeh in May. Cheers, Steve
  8. Hi everyone, Looking to upgrade from my IXUS to a higher end compact having realised that a dSLR set up is miles out of my price range (and perhaps a bit advanced for me at the moment!). So I'm looking for anyone who may be selling a Canon S95 or Canon S100 with the equivalent Recsea/Fisheye FIX housing. Leaning towards the FIX housing if I'm being completely honest, but all offers will be considered. Danny
  9. Has anyone used this setup? It looks like a very elegant way to connect a fibre optic cable to the Ike housing, but I'm concerned that it wouldn't block all of the light from the camera's flash... Any comments? Chris
