  1. I am selling my SLP Waterhousing for surf photography. I purchased this surf housing brand new from SPL Warehousing in San Diego for $1699.00 USD. I used this several time taking images for friend and family surfing in Southern California. This SPL Waterhousing is designed for the Nikon D7000 camera body. When I purchased the surf housing new, I bought it with the Flat Port. I didn’t have a fisheye lens at the time so to be compatible with the Nikon Nikkor 18-70mm Kit lens. It worked great with that lens I just had a slight bit of vignetting at 18mm. I could also zoom out to 70mm. The 70mm was handy on big wave days if you just did not want to get too close to the close up action in the impact zone. I am selling my SPL Surfhousing, because I have recently change camera brands and the new Sony brand is not compatible with this housing. This housing has never been flooded, nor have the seal been compromised in any way. All the glass is scratch free and in pristine condition. I still have the Nikon D7000 camera body if you are interested in purchasing as a package. Item that are included. A-Series SPL Watrehousing (Welded Aluminum) Flat Port (wide angle) Neoprene Port Cover Detachable Pistol Grip with Trigger Detachable Side Grip 3/8 nuts Plastic Wingnuts GoPro Mount Silicone Grease SPL Waterhousing Nikon D7000 A-SERIES camera waterhousings are not dive housings, they are splash rated for water action sports only. Although not made for underwater diving photography, they are great water housings for photographing surfing, sailing, kite boarding, bodyboarding, fishing or many other shallow water activities. Construction: Housings are constructed of ultra light weight aluminum. Sheared, formed on a sheet metal press brake then welded solid by a certified welder. All aluminum is hard anodized to protect against salt water corrosion. The water housing is then painted with industrial powder coat paint. Features and Controls: ▪ Aperture ▪ Shutter speed ▪ Manual shutter release ▪ Back focus (by request) ▪ Detachable flash option ▪ Interchangeable Ports ▪ Other controls can be added for an extra cost Depth Rating: ▪ 15-20ft ▪ All housings made by SPL can handle any size surf you have the nuts to swim into. ▪ These are not dive housings and they should not be treated as such. Weight and Dimensions: Weight 3 lbs with fisheye port and pistol grip
  2. I want to go into surf photography and I am looking for an underwater housing for my Canon 7d. Max. underwater depth of 5 meters + is fine. I don't need a real dive housing. Aquatech or SPL would be ideal. also looking for a dome port for over/under shots and a flat port for my canon 24mm 1.4 ii (height: 90mm). please send me a message if you have something available. cheers

  4. SPL A-Series 1D MK IV / III Water Housing (fits 5D MK III - see text) Very good condition. Works perfectly. Only used a couple of times. Ports have no scratches that might show up on images. O-rings in very good condition. The housing seals tightly. No rust. Pistol grip works great. It is also very easy to manipulate ISO, Shutter Speed, and F-stop. A-Series housings are made of light-weight aluminum and belong to the most durable housings on the market. The removable pistol grip (included) has a two stage trigger similar to the shutter buttons of most DSLRs. The housing has an option to add a detachable flash housing (not included). Included: SPL A-Series Canon 1D Mark IV water housing SPL Front Plate SPL Fisheye Port incl. neoprene port cover (fits lenses like Tokina 10-17, Sigma 15 2.8) SPL Short Flat Port incl. neoprene port cover (fits lenses like Canon 50mm 1.8) SPL Pistol Grip SPL wing nuts Rubber seal lubricant Spare screws Please contact me in case you are unsure if your lens will fit the ports. The housing is designed to fit a Canon 1D MK4 (camera not included). The 1D MK3 also fits the housing. The following buttons are accessible when a 1D MK4 /MK3 is placed inside the housing: Shutter Button Shutter Speed Dial +/- Button (Exposure Compensation / Aperture Button) ISO Button Quick Control Dial SET Button inside Quick Control Dial I used a Canon 5D MKIII inside the housing by adding some removeable padding. The position of most buttons on the 1D MKIV and 5D III is very similar when you add approx. 40mm of padding to the bottom of the 5D MK III. Check www.camerasize.com for more details. The padding was removed for the photos. However, if you are planning on using a 5D MKIII inside the housing, please let me know and I'll add the padding back to the housing for free before packing it for shipping. With the padding, I was able to access the following buttons: Shutter Button Shutter Speed Dial WB (White Balance) Button AF Drive Button ISO Button I haven't tested it out, but I can imagine that with some adjustments to the padding a 5D MKIV or 5D MKII might also work. Looking for 990€ - US$1060 - negotiable Worldwide shipping Contact: tim@kahlhofen.de
  5. I'm searching for a water housing for surf photography for my 5D MK3. Ideally from AquaTech. Please also offer any ports you have for sale. Just shoot me a PM. Cheers
  6. Hi, I'm looking for a underwater housing for my 5D MKIII, a Canon 16-35 f4 or f2.8ii port, an over/under dome port (with extension ring) and a pistol grip. Please send me a PM if you have something available.
  7. FS: Nikon D810/800 SPL A-Series Housing w/ one port for 17-35 f/2.8 Perfect condition, no bumps bruises or repairs. I have lubed the seals every 3 weeks to keep them moist. I've never had any issues and used this housing with great success for photos and video. While the port is sized for the 17-35 I've used it with a 28, 50, 85, 35-70, and had great results. It can be used with any lens shorter then the 17-35 (106mm in length) that has a longer focal length, and can be used with some that don't fit that bill like the 28mm 1.8 g. While this is a surf housing it handles depth fine. The owner has said they handle depth as well as any dive housing but he markets them to surfers and doesn't rate them for depth because they are best used as surf/action sport housings. Come with Camera Housing One port is included Detachable Pistol Grip Detachable Side Grip Neoprene port cover O-ring grease Spare nuts and wings all tools needed to adjust/ alter housing configuration (wrench and allen key) Pricing Everything above - $1400 Everything above + D810 (9.5/10, 28,xxx, Clicks) - $3300 Everything above + D810 + 17-35 (9.5/10) - $4000
  8. Price: $1,400.00 Payment method: PayPal, Bank of America Transfer, Check Item condition: 9.5/10 Shipping instructions: Seller will pay for shipping within the US. I will ship internationally but buyer will have to pay actual cost. Seller references: I have excellent feedback on the photography forum Fred Miranda as wassontm or on eBay as Laser49201 I purchased this housing new just over a year ago and have only used it for a couple trips down to the British Virgin Islands. It's like new except for a little bit of peeling on the foam grip as shown in the last photo. Other than that it's been meticulously maintained, rinsed with fresh water after every use and o-rings lubricated after every other use. The lens port is scratch free and designed to fit a Tokina 11-16mm but also fits anything smaller like my Canon 35mm f/1.4 L. Included: Splash Waterhousing Pistol grip Lens port Spare parts (plastic wing nuts, stainless nuts, base plate bolt) Spare lube (who doesn't need that) Wrench Original Paperwork Extra plate in case you want to take the pistol grip off Base plate This is a very well cared for housing and I'm unloading it to upgraded camera bodies.
  9. I am selling my Sean P Labrie Surf Housing. The housing was custom made by Sean for the Nikon D300 with a battery grip. I have only used it about 6 times. It comes with a fisheye port that fits the nikon 10.5mm fisheye lens perfectly. It comes with extra wingnuts, pistol grip/trigger, plexi port cover for when the pistol grip is not needed. The housing is made for protection not pressure. It is water tight to about 15ft but it can endure gnarly shore-break I am upgrading cameras and need to sell this to fund some lens purchases and I am just not using it enough. I paid $1900 for it. I am looking to get $1200 OBO. This housing can be modified to work with many cameras by SPL in San Diego. If you are interested PM me. Thanks
