So I would like to upgrade from my SONY A7R3 to A7R5, but I can't justify $4600 for a new housing. I'm very happy with my current Sea and Sea housing, ports, etc. So I wonder if there is anyone out there in WP land that has tried to mod their existing housing for a new camera with slightly different dimensions? Seems like a reasonable task for a MacGiver type with the right tools, possibly even a lucrative, recurring side hustle.

I'm selling two YS-D1 strobes. Both work like new. One is in almost new condition and was barely used. The other one has minor cosmetic scratches on the outside but works perfectly. I'm selling because I upgraded to YS-D2 strobes. The strobes come with both types of diffusers, one ys mount, and one tube of silicone. The strobes have ball mounts installed already. I'm asking $600, USA shipping only, and buyer pays any paypal fees.

Ok, so I have a Nauticam housing and using 2 Nauticam float arms from the housing to the strobes. It seems that I have to tighten down the clamps so much to get the arms to stop moving and there's not much left of the clamp to turn (spring is about all the way compressed). Looks as though the O-rings are in good shape with no cuts or damage. Has anyone else had this issue, and if so what's the solution?

Is there anyone that can help me with information/guides about what o-rings, springs etc that is used for the Sea&Sea mdx-d500housing? I’d like to service it myself since I’m travelling to places like Lembeh. It doesn’t make sense to send it in for service after each trip to get rid of all the sand in the buttons. I know that some of you would like to avoid me from doing it myself but come on, It’s not rocket science how to do remove and replace parts. And you also have the vacuum system to help you detecting any leakage problem. Anyone? Private message me or reply to this topic. I guess more ppl might be interested.

Selling my Nikon D7000 body with Nauticam housing and gear. The housing had a full overhaul service and new handles from Reef Photo in January of 2018 ($700). Only issues: moisture alarm in housing does not work & the internal flash on the camera body must be flipped up manually, both not big issues at all. I have a Canon 5D Mark IV with a Sea and Sea MDX 5D housing, Sea and Sea TTL optic converter & 2 YS-D2 strobes. I've been having intermittent problems with exposures in TTL mode for all ranges-macro as well as wide angle. I have all the modes set correctly Blue, blue, blue, but sometimes the left strobe not synching fully or at least exposures are under, or sometimes it looks like they didn't fire at all.... Through process of elimination, I've replaced the converter, swapped cables, even replaced the strobe. If I switch to manual Green, green, green, everything looks much better exposure wise and consistency. I don't mind this but I'm surprised that the TTL isn't working better. I don't think it would be my camera, but anyone with similar gear that could give insight would be greatly appreciated.

Zen DP-230 Optical Glass Dome Port in Excellent Condition Overall very clean with two minor surface blemishes that do not affect image quality. Really has been pampered for the duration of ownership. Recently upgraded to a Seacam Superdome and feel this dome would be better suited to a more experienced shooter. It's a great dome for a really wide lens - I'm only selling in order to have rent money by end of month. This is the same dome port as the regular 240, however it has a larger rear opening to fit the 11-24mm lens. It fits all other wide-angle and fisheye lenses as well, making it very versatile.
