First of all, the WA-110 is actually the Epoque DCL-30, it's exactly it (the box, the manual, the label on the lens etc). So I don't understand why there is a need of selling it as a different thing. You don't go to McDonold to buy a BigMac and try to sell it off as a Burger King Whopper, why?????? This really make research so difficult as people mentioned the WA-110 COULD be Epoque DCL-30 but there is no actual proof of it, or in depth expose of the product face lift situation. Anyway, I asked question if the lens will work in the Ikelite housing, and I was told it will work well, and the lens is very sharp etc. Guess what? I tried it at the pool, and it's not true. The LX-7 have to zoomed to 50mm to get rid of vignette!!!! I was expecting to need to zoom to 28mm or around 35mm, as the lens is designed for 28mm camera. The lens is 110 degree field of view compare to 100 of the Inon H100 so I figure if I need to zoom further in than the Inon, it would be about the same factoring that the angle is wider on the WA-110. The fact that the camera has to be at 50mm to use the lens is just make it useless, the camera is better off at 24mm without the WA lens. I think there are two issues that contribute to this problem: 1. The lens port of the ikelite is longer, so you have a bigger gab between the housing glass and the back of the lens. 2. The WA lens barrel itself is longer than the Inon-H100. Regardless, stay away from the WA-110 unless you're using a 28mm camera to avoid the risks as you have less head room of error by going with a 24mm camera. I don't know what I would do with the WA-110 now, I can only hope in the future when a new version of Sony RX100 come out, it would have a 28mm lens like it's now, and fix all the short coming it currently has when come to video feature and ease of menu navigation. You all been warn!!!!
