I am selling my SLP Waterhousing for surf photography. I purchased this surf housing brand new from SPL Warehousing in San Diego for $1699.00 USD. I used this several time taking images for friend and family surfing in Southern California. This SPL Waterhousing is designed for the Nikon D7000 camera body. When I purchased the surf housing new, I bought it with the Flat Port. I didn’t have a fisheye lens at the time so to be compatible with the Nikon Nikkor 18-70mm Kit lens. It worked great with that lens I just had a slight bit of vignetting at 18mm. I could also zoom out to 70mm. The 70mm was handy on big wave days if you just did not want to get too close to the close up action in the impact zone. I am selling my SPL Surfhousing, because I have recently change camera brands and the new Sony brand is not compatible with this housing. This housing has never been flooded, nor have the seal been compromised in any way. All the glass is scratch free and in pristine condition. I still have the Nikon D7000 camera body if you are interested in purchasing as a package. Item that are included. A-Series SPL Watrehousing (Welded Aluminum) Flat Port (wide angle) Neoprene Port Cover Detachable Pistol Grip with Trigger Detachable Side Grip 3/8 nuts Plastic Wingnuts GoPro Mount Silicone Grease SPL Waterhousing Nikon D7000 A-SERIES camera waterhousings are not dive housings, they are splash rated for water action sports only. All aluminum is hard anodized to protect against salt water corrosion. The water housing is then painted with industrial powder coat paint. Price: $1,400.00 Payment method: PayPal, Bank of America Transfer, Check Item condition: 9.5/10 Shipping instructions: Seller will pay for shipping within the US. I will ship internationally but buyer will have to pay actual cost. Seller references: I have excellent feedback on the photography forum Fred Miranda as wassontm or on eBay as Laser49201 I purchased this housing new just over a year ago and have only used it for a couple trips down to the British Virgin Islands. It's like new except for a little bit of peeling on the foam grip as shown in the last photo. Other than that it's been meticulously maintained, rinsed with fresh water after every use and o-rings lubricated after every other use. The lens port is scratch free and designed to fit a Tokina 11-16mm but also fits anything smaller like my Canon 35mm f/1.4 L. Included: Splash Waterhousing Pistol grip Lens port Spare parts (plastic wing nuts, stainless nuts, base plate bolt) Spare lube (who doesn't need that) Wrench Original Paperwork Extra plate in case you want to take the pistol grip off Base plate This is a very well cared for housing and I'm unloading it to upgraded camera bodies.
I am selling my Canon 7D body as well as my Essex water housing for it. The 7D and housing were bought just a few months ago, but I am already looking to upgrade. I am the second owner of both items and they both still have many many many years of life left and the housing will last forever if taken care of right. The body itself is in perfect condition it was taken into the shop back in March and is ready to go. Has less than 55,000 clicks, with expectations of 150,000 plus. It will come with the original box and accessories it came with. As for the Essex Water housing for Canon 7D. It is still in perfect working condition. With this housing you have all the controls but on and off. The fisheye port has light marks on the sides from trying out longer lenses but it doesn't effect the picture at all when the lens is in there, plus I am throwing in a brand new glass piece for the Fish eye port so if you would like to change it out to have a brand new glass port. The port also holds a 50mm with no problem. Its water sealed and I still have some grease I can provide and some extra bolts. It comes with the auto focus pistol grip mount and is all ready to go. This is a great deal for anyone looking to start or upgrade from a previous set up. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you.
