SAGA Trio specifications: Size: 136 x 84 x 73mm Weight: 708 gr/1.6 lbs Weight in Water: 200 gr/.44 pounds Aluminum 6082 Hard anodized, with extra hard on the working areas (Thread and levers) Lenses are Vacuum Sealed This lens revolutionizes all the wet magnification systems now available. You can switch between 0, +5, +10, +15 diopters quickly all with one device! The patented system of two levers makes it possible for photographers to use a very easy system of changing the magnification, even while they are looking through the viewfinder. Trio allows you to reach 4 different power ratios in the minimum time possible, and with maximum optical quality. Manufactured in mechanized aluminum with hard anodizing, Trio has two groups of lenses, one with a +5 diopter and the other with a +10. These two groups can be moved independently, so 4 levels of magnification can be achieved. With the the two levers in the upper position, you can use your lens normally - focusing to infinity as normal without any vignetting. The Trio lens system is designed to be used with macro lenses such as the Canon 100mm or Nikon 105mm, even with some 150 or 180mm lenses, and it can also be used with 60mm macro lenses. Flipping the first lever adds a +5 diopter, second one adds a +10, and with the 2 levers in the lower position stacks the two groups of lenses and for a +15 diopter lens. The lens is attached to any 67mm threaded port. If your port doesn't have a 67mm thread, Saga Dive makes an adapter for any kind of port. Once it is attached, the lens can be moved to any place by rotating, so it can be rotated to any preferred position we prefer, for flexibility with lighting.
  2. Selling an Olympus PTWC-01 wide angle lens in good condition. The lens has a magnification of 0.6 giving a 100 degree angle of view underwater. This lens has the standard 67mm thread and will fit any housing that accepts 67mm wet lenses. This is a large and solid lens which is very sharp across the entire frame including the corners. Using an RX100 I could zoom through the entire range and the image was still sharp. The optical quality is better than the Inon UWL-100 series. A stainless steel saddle is fitted to allow a lanyard to be attached. There are a few micro scratches on the front glass - see photos. These have no effect on image quality. Priced at US$280 including shipping to US, UK and Western Europe (the item is in Australia). Shipping time is approx 7 to 10 days. Please contact me at: neilwin@iinet.net.au
  3. For sale, Nauticam CMC-1 wet lens, equivalent to a +15 diopter. I'm selling it because I do not need it anymore. Great condition (a few tiny scratches with no impact on image quality), bought in October 2017, around 100 dives. Visible in Paris area. Possible to meet face to face in this area. Shipping at buyers costs worldwide. Nauticam Reference: #81301 Price: 249 EUR
  4. Hi there, I'm selling my Underwater Wide Conversion lens from Olympus as I'm getting the WWL-1 from Nauticam. It provides a 100 degree underwater angle of view (Magnification: 0.6x). It screws directly to the front of the PT housing. It is advised to use Silicone Grease for PT Series Underwater Housings on the lens threads prior to attaching. I bought in 2016 in Malaysia, used on two housings (PT-056 for Olympus Tough 4 and PT-EP12 for Olympus Pen 7). I will give as well the step-down ring 67mm to 52mm. I have attached a few photos taken in November last year (Sipadan). Everything is good condition, it was still used recently. A few micro-scratches on the front lens which do not affect the quality of the images. I have modified the caps so it can be used with a lanyard. Original invoice provided but not the box. Shipping at buyer's costs. Visible in Paris area in France (Boulogne-Billancourt). Price: 300 EUR + shipping costs (if any) Cheers, G.
  5. Before going on my dive this morning, I found a spot of condensation about the size of a US quarter on the inside of my Subsea +5. It was pretty hot and humid this morning so I placed the lens in the water to cool it down and to see if the condensation would go away. It did shrink the size down by a bit and by the end of the dive it had gone completely. At the end of the dive after sitting outside for no more than 10 minutes, the condensation came back. Now that I'm home and the lens is in my air conditioned house it's completely gone and the lens is clear. Is this a defect in the lens? I would think that the unit should be completely sealed and no condensation should appear on the inside. I couldn't find any droplets of water inside the lens upon inspection so nothing appears to be getting inside the lens. Any ideas would be appreciated.
