Dear photographers, I'm sure most of you have already heard of the Indonesia World Underwater Photo Contest 2013. This competition is entirely free to enter. Any photographer can submit pictures taken in Indonesia between January 1st and November 30th 2013 while diving with a Participating Dive Operator (PDO). The total cash prize is over USD 200,000! This is a great opportunity for photographers to get their work out there... More information about the contest can be found on the official website: Indonesia World Underwater Photo Contest - IWUPC 2013 I started this thread so that Participating Dive Operators (PDO) can officially announce their active participation in this unique competition and facilitate Wetpixel users' search for a dive center with whom to register. Someone's got to start so here is the first one: Bali: Geko Dive Bali - Website: http://gekodivebali.com/ Email: info@gekodivebali.com Other PDO's are warmly welcomed to add onto this list.

One of my cave diving photos has been selected as a finalist in the Santi Photo Awards. Leaning Tower by Ali Perkins, on Flickr Based on the first day of voting I'm not going to win. But if you want to throw a vote my way perhaps I won't come in last either. :-) You can vote once per day for the next eight days. There are some nice underwater images to look at there. http://contest.santidiving.com/ Alison Perkins

Hello all, The folks over at the SEA International Photo and Video competition (NCUPS). have announced the winners of this years Video competition. They run a great organization, and I recommend anyone who is interested to enter in next years competition. This year I was lucky enough to have placed in first place in the Classic category. I have to admit, I am pretty excited about this, as this the first competition I have ever entered. Have a look if you have a few minutes. Feel free to Share, Like, and Comment on it. I value all the opinions here on Wetpixel, so if there are things that you think I could do better, please feel free to chime in. I am always looking to improve. Thanks, Dustin https://vimeo.com/66011703
