  1. I'd like a bit of advice from any Sea&sea rig owners who either have an old port chart (or better still experience) of the Sea&Sea Dome port 240 please. I'm looking to upgrade my trusty NX compact dome port to claim back a bit of corner sharpness when i'm using my Canon 8-15 and 16-35 f4 lenses. Sea&Sea only show their current models on their website port chart so I can't get a grip on which extension rings i'd need and other issues like using the focus ring as a zoom knob etc. I appreciate the company is going through some changes right now so my emails aren't going to be their highest priority. If anyone has any advice on this it would be gratefully received (and so would a second hand universal dome port AR come to think of it...) Cheers Dan
  2. I wonder if the superdome work as well with 8-15 mm fisheye lens from nikon, as the Fisheyedome ? I have a 14 mm nikon and a Seacam wideport and the corners are rather bad, so I want to upgrade, if I get the superdome it will be fine for splitlevel shots as well ? and I will get much better corners both with the 14 mm. and the 8-15 mm Fisheye ?
  3. Hi team Wetpixel ;-) I already went through all the posts on mini dome use cases and they all clear. But, I want to toss in my specific use case and see what you would recommend. I ask since some of these dives are difficult to do so I don't have many opportunities for try and test approach that I would normally do. - I am going to take some wreck shots at about 60-100m depth. - I will use new Nikon 8-15 fisheye on D850. - As for shooting, no split shot opportunities. Also I don't really see value of corner sharpness on these dives so will compromise here. Instead, I will focus on framing the entire wreck with ambient light in blue, getting some flash lighted parts of wreck in the foreground while rest of the wreck and blue is in the background or really just some CFWA with details or fish and again parts of the wreck and blue in the background. - Large dome port was too bulky for me with rebreather, stages and rest of the dive kit so I took with me now only 4 inch mini dome and 7 inch glass dome What do you think will work better: 4 or 7 inch dome? Is there an obvious better choice? My main use case is natural light ... or traces of it down there :-) if I have to choose one. Thanks, Marko

  5. I recently got into 3d printing and cad design. I printed some dome port protectors and gears out of flexible nylon. Also printed some rings to cover the lens info that can reflect off a port.
