  2. Hey Everyone, So i've decided to sell off some old gear so I can try and upgrade to new gear. I have a variety of things - so here we go. Please note I am open to offers! Equinox Canon t3i Kit General: I have a heavily used Equinox housing with the standard port for a Canon T3i. I am also including the Canon T3i (with two batteries and the charger) without a lens. I am unsure of the quantity of actuations on this camera, but it is quite low (i'm going to estimate approximately 10K). This system is not for a professional but rather for someone who is interested in getting into underwater photography and wants to learn. The system never flooded and is super easy to use! I am looking to sell it for $600 (housing + camera body) or Best Offer. If you are interested, please message me. Specifics: Equinox Housing for Canon T3i 1 Dome Port for standard 10-22mm lens Weighted handles to facilitate proper buoyancy and maneuverability Canon T3i 2 x Canon T3i Batteries Canon T3i Battery Charger OpenROV Kit General: I have a never used OpenROV system. This system comes with multiple sets of batteries (if I can figure out how to ship them) and two battery chargers. I also have a laminated set of instructions that I made that go along with the kit so you can operate the ROV. In addition, the OpenROV team sent me three additional propeller motors so I am going to throw them in as well. This system comes with a nicely maintained yellow pelican case so if you are into underwater exploration, this is a pretty cool piece of equipment. I am looking to sell it for $1000 or Best Offer. Cetacean Research Underwater Speaker and Hydrophone General: This is a random post but thought i'd see if there was any interest. About a year ago, I purchased an underwater hydrophone kit (SQ26-H1) to record whale and dolphin vocalizations and a lubell labs underwater professional speaker to reply these sounds (LL916H-025). This is a professional kit, but I never used this system and it is collecting dust. If you or someone you know may be interested in this, message me and I can give you all the details. I paid $2500 for the whole kit, but am willing to let it all go for $2000. Included is: SQ26-H1 Underwater Recording System. Includes: SQ26-08 Hydrophone w/30m cable Zoom H1 24-bit/96kHz Digital Recorder w/USB Cable 16GB microSD Memory Card 12-18V Dual USB power adapter High Fidelity Miniature Speaker Waterproof Case with Custom Anti-Static Foam Sensitivity = -xxx.xxdB, re. 1V/μPa Lubell Labs model LL916H-025 Portable 180dB 20V Professional underwater speaker. Blue 150 mil PVC finish, suspension harness (no cage), 25' cable. Must be ordered with AC series transformer box listed below. 1 @ 16 lbs / 12 IN x 12 IN x 9 IN. Lubell Labs model AC202C 50W transformer box. 1/4" mono phone jack input, 8 ohm load. Speco PAT-20TB portable 20W amplifier for use with underwater speakers. Custom adapter cable to connect hydrophone output to Speco amplifier input. Modify speaker output cable on Speco to allow for easy connection to transformer input. Thanks for looking, Craig

  4. Hi, I use a heavily modified Equinox HD10 housing for my Sony FS7 camera and it works a treat. I have sourced almost all the constituent parts for the housing apart from the bulkhead fittings for the control rods. They take a 1/4" shaft and have double O rings. Does anyone know who supplied these to Equinox as I'm trying to get hold of some to make further modifications. I can see no manufactures stamping etc. The Equinox website seems to have disappeared. I'm over if the UK. All help greatly appreciated. Thanks Andy
  5. Hey, With the holidays approaching, I thought i'd repost my two systems. Although I did have a lot of interest with my previous post, no one committed and I thought it would be best to post more pictures and give a full list of what is included with each. Ikelite 5D Mark III Kit General: First and foremost, I have an Ikelite 5D Mark III housing that also has a DL 8inch Dome Port and Vacuum Pump with Gauge. I am asking $1900 for the system (paid $2200). Specifics: 0123.45: O Ring 8245 - DL Port - Ultracompact 0123.61: O Ring 8261 - DSLR 0458.2 4077.02: Right Quick Release Handle and Extension 4077.93: Shutter Trigger Extension 5509.28: Universal Zoom Gear UP to 3.0 in Dia 47011: Vacuum Pump with Gauge 71702: Canon 5D III IV 5DS® Housing DL 200Ft 75340: DL 8 Inch Dome Port Equinox Canon t3i Kit General: Also, I have a heavily used Equinox housing with the standard port for a Canon T3i. 9. HMC40 with Equinox HD8 Underwater Housing $1,500.00 In Wilmington NC. UPS Ground shipping estimate in the United States: $50-$75. Contact: Matthew McCoy, 910-620-1011 or PM me I'm selling because I've moved from the Bahamas and won't have much, if any, use for the setup anymore. Please contact me with any questions. I can also do a Skype call if you'd like to see the equipment and get a video walkthrough. Includes: Panasonic HMC40 high definition profession camcorder Manufacturer details here: http://www.panasonic.com/business/provideo/ag-hmc40pj.asp Lens in pristine condition All buttons, dials, lens controls, displays, and recording options work Very solid and reliable camera! Body has some minor cosmetic scratches on bottom from tripod plate 205 hours Lens hood included, but the cover is missing Equinox HD8 housing designed for HMC40 Controls: focus, exposure, white balance, zoom Power on/off and record stop/start on separate arms** Dome port and flat port (for macro and zooming) Rated to 200 feet Includes a set of unused gaskets Marshall V-LCD50: 5” high resolution HDMI monitor-fits on back of housing Has custom mount on rear port, but I use electrical tape to fully secure it There is glue residue along the backside of the monitor from using electrical tape to prevent it from moving back and forth. Battery Charger and camera wall charger 1 IDX high capacity battery (SSL-VBG50) 1 Panasonic regular battery Kingston class 4 32 gig SD card (handles all in-camera recording formats) Lens Filter: Circulare polarizer, .9 ND and 1.8 ND Red filter for housing AV out cable for surface monitors Wide angle and macro adapter Removable audio adapter: AG-MYA30G 2-channel XLR and Panasonic MIC150 shotgun mic ** Originally the housing came with one arm to turn the camera on/off and to hit record. This did not work well, very cumbersome and completely unreliable. I switched some arms around, and the photo arm now independently hits the record button. I had to attach an allen's key to make it line up. I tried to get Equinox to send me a custom arm, but they would not without the housing being sent back in. Ideally the arm and allen's key would be welded together, but I did not want to do that in case there was a desire to return it to its original configuration.
  10. For Sale £450.00 ono Equinox HDPRO u/w housing for Sony PMW-EX3 video camera Included is: 1 x Equinox HDPRO Video housing 1 x 2.5 inch rear-mounted internal colour LCD monitor with re-chargeable battery and charger 1 x internal adjustable ballast 1 x carrying strap 1 x EO Waterproof bulkhead for video out (to surface) Spare parts kit (extra O-rings and misc hardware) Extra spare parts as shown in photos 1 x wide-angle front lens port This was bought as part of a job lot of kit with a Sony PMW-EX3, but has never been used by me. The camera died not long after purchase and was replaced with a Sony FS&, so this housing is not needed. Sold as seen as I cannot test it, but appears in good condition with all spares in case of perished o-ring seals. Due to size and weight cannot post unless price for this agreed. Can deliver to Heysham in Lancashire as the ferry from the Isle of Man, where I live, docks there.
  11. For Sale- Equinox housing for Canon 5d mk3 In good used condition. Exterior of housing shows some scuffing and signs of use. Works well. Dome port has some very minor signs of use, not in pristine condition, but hasn't seemed to impact any of my video or still photography. Can send links to footage recorded in this housing if desired. This housing was super reliable, impressively simple to ensure watertight seals, and easy to see everything inside the housing with the clear back plate, which was great for peace of mind. This style housing isn't ideal in some ways- some of the controls are tricky to activate- but you're either looking at a $5000+ set up, or something like this. It's a great option if you want to take your camera underwater and film or photograph without investing a ton of money. New- $1600 (now $1500). Asking $875 + actual shipping (estimated $25-45). Kit includes housing, dome port (which works with a number of lenses- I used a 16-35mm Canon, and a 100mm macro Canon), and 2 sets of handles (1 set is lead, to add weight; the other set is hollow, when you don't need extra weight). Camera plate, zoom ring, focus ring, and external rubber feet included. Metal plate adapter to add light arms or other accessories, included. Here's a pic of me with the housing (Keldan light and light arm not included). More detailed photos of the housing to follow.
  12. So I need some advice here. Not really sure what to do. I am shooting video of a ship wreck next week (The Duane in Key Largo). Most of the shooting will take place at around 100ft. Here is my underwater video setup: - Canon T2i - Ikelite housing - 8 inch dome - Tokina 11-16mm 2.8 - Equinox Red Filter Now for my question. If you take a look at the red filter that I am using, in the description on B&H it states that it will work in "up to 70ft of water." So what happens to your colors after you pass 70ft? I am not using a light, so I am wondering if I should just shoot the Duane without this red filter and without a light. I mean, what are my options? And what is the smartest way to go? I've been shooting on the shallow reefs of Key Largo, and I must say the red filter (with no lights) does do the job well, giving me nice color. I just don't have any experience shooting in the depths below 70ft. And I really want to know why this filter says it's only good for 70ft... Thanks for any help. - Jason
