  1. Hi, I'm getting ready to get a new housing for my 1DX2 and been shooting on acrylic. I will need a new dome port and considering getting glass. Is the additional cost worth it when you compare? I remember when i left kit lenses and started shooting on "good glass" and the difference was significant. Does the same apply here in your experience?

  9. I'm considering to buy the Panasonic 7-14mm for my GH-5 in Nauticam housing. For this lens, there are 2 ports, with or without focus knob http://www.nauticam.com/product/36164/ http://www.nauticam.com/product/36133/ The advantages and disadvantages are obvious on the first sight. + manual focus - price (port and gear, several 100's of $) - more risk for leakage or damage - more difficult to mount Other things to consider? What would you do? I do mainly video. Thanks for all the advice. Rollin

  13. Hi guys I'm selling my Canon ef 8-15mm f/4l fish eye lens with nauticam zoom gear and 30 extension ring with lock. The lens has only been used inside my housing and is in like new condition.. It still smells new! I have the caps, boxes, pouches, and hood please send me a PM if interested or shoot me an email to Tavera2001@aol.com the only reason I have to let this lens go is because I moved to a 16-35mm and pretty much went bankrupt buying camera gear $1,100.00 + Shipping or best offer Take care, Chris
  14. Hello, I am selling my Olympus M. Zuiko Digital ED 12-50mm F3.5-6.3 EZ including front and rear caps together with the Nauticam Zoom and Macro Gear #36147 O1250-Z EZ. The items are like new, since I bought them together with my housing. However, since I like it much more extreme and always shoot fish-eye or supermacro, I only used this lens one time in a lake. The lens is the perfect allrounder, since together with the zoom gear you can use the entire zoom range from 12 to 50mm and also can go into the macro mode (see picture). So, you basically have everything in one lens, which is especially go when you only have one dive at the particular location or when you don't know what you will see/you are after. I am asking for 450€ plus fees for insured & tracked shipping and PayPal. Since this is a private sale, everything is offered as is and I can not give any warranty. However, I can guaranty that everything described or shown on pictures is the truth. Furthermore, I have a well reputation here at this forum and also at ebay. There, I offer these items as well. Please don't hesitate asking anything, if you have any questions.

The Hydrophobia® 70–200 protects valuable photo equipment from the elements during active use. Keep shooting in the rain, snow or blowing sand. The Hydrophobia gives you peace of mind that you can capture the moment in almost any weather. KEY FEATURES External Camera Strap (included) eliminates need to remove the strap attached to the camera body Interior retainer loop for strap on camera body Eyepiece flap shields viewfinder from rain or dust when not in use GEAR PROFILE 1 DSLR with Canon's 100–400mm f/4.5–f/5.6 lens attached Compatible with ALL Nikon, Canon DSLRs and SOME Sony and Olympus DSLR camera bodies* External Camera Strap (included) eliminates need to remove the strap attached to the camera body TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS 17.5" long x 5.5” diameter (44.5 x 14 cm) 12.8 oz (363 g) rain cover only Eyepiece (sold separately) required for proper use. My Nikon Eyepiece is included. You can get others directly from Think Tank for about $38 MATERIALS 210T seam-sealed rip-stop + polyurethane film + 70D nylon tricot, polyurethane seam tape, weather resistant zippers, antique nickel-plated metal hardware, high-density shock cord, nylon webbing, neoprene, 3-ply bonded nylon thread.*Fit is dependent on both lens and eyepiece compatibility. To find a compatible eyepiece for your camera body if it's other than Nikon (I'm including the Nikon eyepiece) you can go to Think Tank and order one (about $38.00) More Details The Hydrophobia 70-200 includes a Think Tank Camera Strap that is preconnected to durable metal D-rings on the rain cover. Proper use of the strap and rain cover does not require removing the strap attached to the camera. Nor does it require cutting holes in the rain cover or disassembling the camera's attached strap. The lens strap inside the Hydrophobia allows the external Camera Strap to fully support the weight of the camera and lens. Tighten the lens strap then clip it around the back end of the lens, ensuring a snug fit. There is no need to remove the strap already attached to the DSLR. Simply fold the strap and slip it into the Camera Strap Retainer, which is the elastic loop inside the Hydrophobia. The Hydrophobia securely attaches around the lens hood by a hook-and-loop strap with non-slip coating. Using a lens hood in the rain effectively prevents stray droplets from streaking across the front of the lens, in the similar way it blocks glare from sunlight. A specially designed eyepiece is required for use and proper attachment of the Hydrophobia rain cover. The eyepiece allows a clear view, straight through to the camera's viewfinder, while keeping a water resistant seal. There are five different eyepieces to choose from, three for Canon and two for Nikon DSLRs. To browse the eyepieces and check compatibility, go to the Think Tank website and they are about $38.00 An eyepiece flap can be folded over the Hydrophobia eyepiece when the camera is not is use. This keeps excess rain or dust from collecting on the viewfinder while the camera is just hanging by the external strap. An eyepiece pocket is built into the side of the Hydrophobia rain cover. It can be used to store the Hydrophobia eyepiece when the rain cover is packed away or it can carry the DSLR's rubber eyecup while the rain cover is actively being used. Look for the eye-shaped icon on the Hydrophobia. A soft lens hood cover is included for additional protection from the elements. Use it as a lens cap; it's too small to be a shower cap. The hood cover can be stored in the pocket on top of the lens or it can be completely removed to save some bulk. The clear window on the back of the Hydrophobia keeps the camera's LCD screen and controls visible. There is also enough room inside the rain cover to change memory cards and batteries without exposing the camera to rain. Using a shorter focal length lens in the Hydrophobia may be possible depending on the placement of the zoom or focusing rings on the lens. Bring the rain!

  24. I need a good example of a soft bag (ThinkTank, LowePro and other) for carry your M43 kit as carry-on baggage on airplane or small trips. Do you have some photos of your gear packed and your toughts? Thanks
  25. Almost new, looks great, used only a few times. The bag size all zipped is 18" wide by 11" high x 9" thick. It has lots of moveable padded velcro dividers to make customized compartments inside to fit lenses, cameras, and accessories. Converts into a backpack and also has band so it will slide onto a suitcase and/or carryon. Each end has an expansion compartment that unzips. Can be opened from the top as well as the front zippers for easy accessibility. Netting on sides for holding other things (slightly stretched). Great bag and you can also fit it inside a suitcase (which is what I did). $85.99 Plus shipping $17.90 For more information call me at 949-689-8794 or e-mail me at bfactor@beverlyfactor.com
