  1. PRICE $ 3499 incl. international economy shipping from Dumaguete, Negros Oriental, Philippines Full breakdown of prices and indivisible sets here bit.ly/42RbCdm There you will also find links to reviews, test underwater photos and videos from this camera. Original photos in hi-rez here bit.ly/42UtNyY WHAT I'M SELLING: Panasonic GH5 camera with NAUTICAM NA-GH5SV #17713 underwater aluminum video box, complete with 45-degree branded viewfinder and other accessories.... (retail price right now = $8818$) Compatible with three cameras GH5, GH5S, GH5II. The #17713 V-labeled box differs from the original #17713 box by featuring an M28 baffle that allows you to use an HDMI 2.0 cable (sold at extra cost) and write 4K/60p video with 10-bit 4:2:2:2 output to an Atomos Ninja V or V+ external monitor, making this option in 2023 the leading platform for underwater video capture. That's why Nauticam hasn't lowered the price on it yet (the official price on the site is $5902) To top it all off, the GH5 is absolutely as good as the Olympus OM-D E-M1 mark II or mark III as a photo camera. I shot with the M1mkII for two years and compared it side by side with the GH5 and I say this based on my experience. And the new OM-1 is not far behind.... In 4K60p mode GH5 will not yield even to the newest Sony A7RV - here - see for yourself the test https://bit.ly/3NX3ZLS and if you write video on an external recorder Ninja V video shot by GH5 will be noticeably higher. Since I have a mega extensive set for this camera, I have broken it down into 4 mini-sets, which I sell as a single set (I don't split) That's why the price is extremely attractive and please - no further bargaining))) The only exception - I can sell the main set WITHOUT the camera (minus $599) or just the camera separately. Three more additional listings with other sets will appear a little later.... CONTENTS (use Google Translate or Deepl): https://www.backscatter.com/Nauticam-Panasonic-GH5-GH5s-Underwater-Video-Housing-NA-GH5V STATUS : In perfect technical and cosmetic condition. Everything is fully 100% working and I continue to currently use it occasionally. There are some very minor scuffs on the outside, but nothing critical. The battery lasts for almost 2.5 hours of underwater shooting - that is 2 or 3 dives depending on the duration of the dive. The exact mileage of the camera will report at the time of sale (now 31 thousand). The camera and box never flooded and always perfectly maintained / desalinated ... COMPLETE : The photo for this lot shows the exact set, of 7 components, that I am selling. - Panasonic GH5 body with original battery and original charger - Nauticam housing NA-GH5SV #17713V (MSRP $5902) with hex wrench set - Nauticam M14 Valve II #25624 (MSRP $220) valve and pump - Nauticam 45 degree Viewfinder #32202 (MSRP $1292) 45 degree viewfinder - Additional FIT Multi-base based attachment points (left handle) - Diver's compass with holder on dive box handle VIEWFINDER : The 1:1 optical viewfinder allows you to revolutionize your approach to pinpoint focus for both stills and video. It is truly a Game Changer! No serious photographer shoots nowadays without viewfinder. This option is a must have and only an external monitor-recorder can be better. Something I offer for an extra charge - Nauticam HDMI 2.0 Cable for Ninja V monitor #25087 ($249) almost new ; SanDisk Extreme Pro 300Mb/s 64Gb ($49) and SanDisk Extreme Pro 170Mb/s 128Gb ($19) cards. 12. Hey all— after selling my DSLR rig, I’m finally bringing my topside camera underwater. I am looking for general advice or testimonials about the setups people seem to like for their a1 or other Sony mirrorless systems. I had an Aquatica for my DSLR— recommend that I stick with them for the a1? I also do not have strobes for this rig yet, but I need to settle on a pair so I can choose my bulkhead. Thanks in advance— I know if this a broad post, but I’m simply looking for what people recommend, what they wish they had/hadn’t purchased, etc. Thank you all!

  14. Selling my extremely lightly used Nauticam NA-2020 and Sony a7RIV body. Both are in excellent conditions. Nauticam NA-2020: Pro-grade housing for both the a7RIV (a7R4) and a9II (a92). I am meticulous about soaking, cleaning, and drying my rig after every dive. It is always kept in it's own hard-sided box on the boat. I can not find a single scratch, mark, etc. on it. See the pictures and judge for yourself. Never a float or leak. Nauticam vacuum system installed and included! Extra o-ring, Nauticam grease, carry bag, allen wrenches, vacuum pump, and box included. Price New: ~$4300 (incld vacuum and tax). My Price: $2875 ~$1425 savings for a housing that still looks and performs as new! Sony a7RIV: Outstanding hi-resolution (61MP) body. US model. Solid underwater focus capabilities and equally fun on land. Used mainly as my UW camera which is why it too is in excellent condition. Includes body, OEM batter, charger, paperwork, and retail box just as when new. Price New: ~$2775 (incld tax) My Price: $1675 ~$1100 savings for a camera that looks and performs as new! 16. A good friend, airline Captain and motion creator, put together a new system with Reef Photo/Video, pool tested, then contracted an aggressive medical issue and we lost him. His widow and family aren't uw motion creators so I'm helping her sell the system. I have the available list of pieces with their new prices and would like to find someone to buy the system for about 48 percent of current prices (that's less than half price). A serious potential buyer can contact me by eMail and I'll send the list of pieces and we can discuss the purchase (chris@chriscrumley.com). A dated photo is included here. Summary of the system is: Nauticam housing w/vacuum sealing, GH5S w/14-42mm optic, Wet Lens, camera batteries/charger, gears, Lightware rolling case and boxes. The external monitor, Keldan lights and monitor/lighting arms and floats shown in the photo were sold earlier and are now happily lighting and displaying salmon and other marine life in the U.S. Pacific Northwest.
  17. Hi, the question is more Ikelite vs something more expensive for a Canon 7d. I've practiced photography for many years, but this is my first foray into UW (besides action cams). I'm primarily looking at the used market and want to know what benefits I'd really get from spending a bit more on an aluminium housing vs the cheaper Ikelite polycarbonate option. Price is definitely an important factor, but if there are significant issues with using a plastic housing (i.e. fogging, less reliable) I would be willing to spend more. As a second part of the question, what are people's opinions regarding the different Al housings? I've seen several reviews of the Aquatica and the Nauticam, which seems to put the Nauticam on top. I am also located in Colombia (South America), meaning buying from the US is relatively easy, but from Europe expensive (where Hugyfot seems to be more available) Thanks for any advice.
  18. Hi all. Any Sea&Sea housing fans out there? My daughter and I both bought new Sea&Sea VF180 optical viewfinders several years ago to use on our MDX-80D housings, but she never mounted hers, so it's brand new. She rediscovered it last week among all the photo gear at her house and handed it to me to sell. I put the other one on my housing and it's amazing for wide-angle or fisheye shots, but she's OK with the original factory-installed viewfinder. Here's a description: https://www.bluewaterphotostore.com/sea-and-sea-180-viewfinder List price is $1210. I think a fair price for it would be $600 plus insured shipping from the Seattle area. If you're interested, check first with a Sea & Sea dealer such as Backscatter or Bluewater to verify that it will fit on your housing. It's made for Sea&Sea MDX and RDX housings but I'm not sure if every housing in those series can mount this viewfinder. Thanks for looking.
  19. *Like New* IKELITE 200DL Housing Kit for Canon EOS R6 with case I purchased this housing last year for a dive project that fell through. Because of that, I’ve only used it twice, and both shoots were surface work only (capturing over/under shots of fly fishing and paddle boarding). This housing has never been at depth and is in like new condition. The current included port extensions are setup for the RF 15-35 f2.8 lens, but these can be added/subtracted as needed for other lenses. Kit includes: -200DL housing for R6 -8 inch dome lens port -50mm lens port extension -28mm lens port extension -right handle and shutter extension -zoom focus gear -vacuum pump -Nanuk 955 hard sided travel case -all necessary accessories + tools Total value MSRP: $3,185.00 Asking price: $2,500.00 (free shipping included for continental US) text 815-517-8549 for details/if interested. Thank you!

  21. I rarely see any information on Easydive housings, so I thought I'd write about the one I just bought. (I'm not affiliated with Easydive.) Introduction I currently use a Nimar housing for my Nikon D5300, with a wet lens (UWL-09) for wide-angle. I'd been frustrated with the soft corners of my wide-angle photos and was looking for a wide-angle dry dome. However, the Nimar has functioned... poorly... so I didn't want to further invest into that system. Plus, I plan on using it for deeper dives (60+ metres) which means a new system anyway. My decision to buy an Easydive instead of, say, Nauticam, was that the housing allows you to change cameras without changing the housing. I'm planning a set of camera upgrades over the next few years and wanted to use the same housing instead of dropping 2k+ EUR housing-tax for each new camera. Since the cost of the Easydive was on par with any housing for a future camera (if not less!), I figured I could always change again if it didn't work out, eating the cost of any ports in the meanwhile. I started with the Leo 3 Wi, as I plan on moving from DSLR Nikon cropped-sensor to mirrorless Sony full-frame, and this housing handles all of them. I started with the 240 mm dome and extension ring for my 10--20 mm lens, and also included the vacuum system, flash trigger, and mounting balls as necessaries. Here's a size comparison between the Nimar and new Easydive. The housings themselves are about the same size, although the Easydive is much heavier being made of aluminium instead of plastic and anxiety. In the Nimar, the camera is connected to a plastic plate that inserts into the bottom. In the Easydive, the camera is connected to the baseplate seen in the following. Here's how the inside looks with the baseplate removed and battery disconnected (but standing alongside its slot). When assembled, the camera goes on the baseplate, which inserts into the bottom of the housing. The battery is placed against some velcro on the right and plugs below. The camera connects to the housing computer by the two cables, with the third being the flash trigger. (I think it can handle the internal flash, but haven't tried.) The buttons on the right side are used to interact with the camera. For my D5300, this includes the important aperture, ISO, shutter, and AF modes. Other models (like the Sony) have more functionality. The shutter release is another button on the front. All are easily operable with 5 mm wet gloves and dry gloves. Cons Let's start with cons. The housing's internal battery connects with velcro---it's hard to tell whether it's securely applied or not. Specifically for the D5300, the magnifier for the viewfinder as-is doesn't fit within the housing, though it might after some tweaking. There's no self-test for the moisture detector---I have no idea what it looks (or sounds) like when there's a leak. The 240 mm dome doesn't lock into place, so I dive in fear of accidentally rotating the dome. That's not new, though, as I usually live in fear of jostling and scratching my domes. I'm pretty well-adjusted otherwise I guess? Apparently the 240 mm is special in that it doesn't lock---other ports and domes do. The universal zoom ring (which slots into the zoom wheel seen in the above photo) uses a velcro system to tighten over a lens. This is fine I guess, but I'd have added more grip to the internal part of the ring so it doesn't slip if over- or under-zoomed. Some double-sided tape did the trick for me. Pros Everything works without any issue---I'm very happy with it! I'm not fond of face-plate clasps in general (I like the Nauticam wheel lock), but the Leo 3's are very sturdy. Buttons and wheels work flawlessly even at depth. Best yet, the company operator, Fabio, has taken time to help me directly with questions, and responds immediately to questions. Diving with the Leo 3 Wi ...is more or less like with any housing. As it comes, the Leo comes with a metal tab on the left side, which I use to clip off. (After the first dive I realised that I should get a left-hand handle as well because I'm so used to holding two handles.) The 240 mm dome is hugely buoyant, even with an ankle weight wrapped around the extension ring. I'll need to tape weights directly to it for trim. Beside trim, it takes only a few styrofoam blocks to have the housing be neutral. (Photo courtesy of Jasper Mulder.) Matching my hose colour and the housing's trimmings was unintentional. Or was it!? If anybody has any questions I can answer as a user, I'll do my best to answer.

  23. The 1DX2 has been my workhorse camera for the last few years and I recently upgraded to a C70. I no longer have the camera body, so I am only selling the Nauticam housing for the 1DX2 (NA-1DX2) for $3000 + shipping. The housing has always been well cared for and will also be fully serviced by Reef Photo prior to sale. It comes with a Nauticam vacuum bulkhead, camera tray, hot shoe plug and its original packaging. Despite being 5 years old, the 1DX2 still offers some of the best bang for the buck for UW shooters (1DX2 is currently $4000 new or ~$2000 used). I think Nauticam knows that seeing how they currently price the NA-1DX2 vs. housings for newer cameras. There aren't many systems in the price range that can compete with the 1DX2 on photo or video features (+ great underwater canon colors). I love this camera and I hope that it finds itself in capable hands for its next journey. You can see UW footage shot with it here: https://www.youtube.com/divehard (all UW shots between 2017 - 2021 were shot with this housing). Cheers Kabir
  24. Well, here's a fully operational, complete kit for someone maybe ready to move up from a point and shoot or their GoPro. I just upgraded to a housing for my E-M1 MkII, so I'm getting rid of the following package which served me very well: OLYMPUS OMD E-M5 OLYMPUS 14-42 II f3.5-5.6 OLYMPUS Housing PT-EP08 Olympus Port PPO-EP01 All accessories, etc. Notes: E-M5 has ~9,375 Shutter actuations (see pic). Works perfectly. Latest firmware. Minor/normal finish wear on some edges. LCD screen and viewfinder are in excellent shape. Included with camera are 5 total batteries, 2 chargers, 2 rubber eyepieces, aux microphone, body cap, USB Cable, Olympus accessory Handgrip HLD-6G, Accessory Battery Grip HLD-6P, and 2 mini flashes for use inside housing. Lens is perfectly clean and operates like new. (Was really never used) Housing - Used only on about 20 dives. Perfect condition. Got down to 110', never leaked a drop of water. Port is like new. All O-rings like new. O-ring removal tool, silica gels, and silicone grease included. Asking $1,200. Original retail? Who knows, certainly over $3k, but irrelevant now. Free FedEx shipping within the US or you can inspect/pickup on Long Island, NY. Can also ship worldwide via DHL or FedEx at cost. Don't hesitate to contact me if you want further info!
  25. I’ve read so many posts that state “to bad you didn’t post this a month earlier” so I’m trying to avoid that scenario and get this setup advertised as soon as possible. In a nutshell, I’m scheduled to dive Komodo in October 2022 and I can’t imagine diving without camera gear (I sold all my camera gear in 2019). Since this might be my last trip to Komodo, or my last dive trip for quite sometime, I’m looking to enter into an arrangement where I purchase the gear new and then deliver to you late October as long the gear remains in “excellent condition”. My thought process is that i’ll order the gear, I’ll send you the receipt, you’ll send me a non refundable deposit of $500, and as long as I don’t damage the gear, you’ll send me the predetermined balance when I’ll return home , and then I’ll ship the gear. Note: If I damage the equipment, lll return your deposit in full. Additional thoughts: 1. If you want the Sony R, I’ll order the R. 2. If you want a colored case, I’ll order the color of you choice as long as it’s available before my departure. In short, I’m willing to work with you. In a nutshell, I’m looking to purchase new gear and take the depreciation hit and then pass that savings on to you. If you have interest in this arrangement please contact me.
