  1. I am planning on a dive trip to Truk in 2015, and was wondering what recommendations from a training standpoint would people recommend. I currently am a Advanced open water Nitrox diver. I would like to be able to do some of the deeper wrecks, and overall be able to spend a bit more time on them than a single tank could provide. I am considering doing doubles, but have no idea if I need training for this etc...or if its as simple as buying a new backplate and wing for my halcyon bcd. I am not a typical deep diver...though not afraid of it either. I normally like to extend my dives for more bottom time to shoot video. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks, Dustin
  2. Join Jason Isley, Stephen Wong & Takako Uno for a free underwater photography workshop at Eco Divers Want to take your underwater photography to the next level? Three world-renowned photo geniuses will be sharing their secrets for FREE in Manado this November. This special event is part of Minahasa Lagoon Resort’s 10th birthday celebrations. Every night a presentation will be given and individual guests will also be able to get one-on-one advice on any aspect of their photography. Jason, Stephen & Takako will also join the daily dive trips throughout the week. Even if you’re a complete beginner you won’t be made to feel out of your depth - the majority of people attending won’t be experts. It's not a competition and the atmosphere will be fun. You’ll get a relaxing holiday with a bonus of leaving with added photography knowledge and experience, not to mention great memories of diving with these three hugely entertaining & generous people. All are welcome, irrespective of skill level. Guests will dive the spectacular walls, coral gardens and critter sites of Bunaken National Park. The week will be rounded off with a Gala Dinner. Plenty of diving, learning and underwater fun! Dates run from 24th November to 1st December. To join this free workshop just book a standard 7-night Dive Package with Eco Divers Manado.
