  4. Hi, all. I bought this beautiful glass dome and lens combo new in June last year to shoot on a new Sea & Sea MDX-80D housing. A couple of months ago an old friend decided to quit u/w photography and gave me his fisheye lens and another glass port, and I don't need to own two sets of fisheye lenses, zoom gears, and ports. The Optical Dome Port II sells for $1030 at Backscatter, and the Tokina 10-17mm f/3.5-4.5 fisheye for Canon sells for $469. The zoom gear costs $220. There's no point in separating them, so I'll sell them as a set only. I'm asking $860 plus insured shipping. That's half the retail cost, so please don't bother trying to haggle on this one. Below are links to a few of my shots taken with this dome and lens. https://www.flickr.com/photos/firststage/43257166981/in/photolist-28UuhFP https://www.flickr.com/photos/firststage/29387465798/in/photolist-LLSrJN https://www.flickr.com/photos/firststage/29387476868/in/photolist-LLSv2E Thanks for looking. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Shipping cost https://www.phlpost.gov.ph/get_rates.php(1 US$ = 51 PHP, parcel gross weight not more 1 kg) My other lots for sale here : Nauticam CMC-2, Nauticam Wet Mate lens, Retra LSD snoot, 7x arm set, pair of Nitescuba S1 video lights, pair of Scubalamp V6K video lights, pair of Orcatorch canister torch D620, ... SAGA Trio specifications: Size: 136 x 84 x 73mm Weight: 708 gr/1.6 lbs Weight in Water: 200 gr/.44 pounds Aluminum 6082 Hard anodized, with extra hard on the working areas (Thread and levers) Lenses are Vacuum Sealed This lens revolutionizes all the wet magnification systems now available. You can switch between 0, +5, +10, +15 diopters quickly all with one device! The patented system of two levers makes it possible for photographers to use a very easy system of changing the magnification, even while they are looking through the viewfinder. Trio allows you to reach 4 different power ratios in the minimum time possible, and with maximum optical quality. Manufactured in mechanized aluminum with hard anodizing, Trio has two groups of lenses, one with a +5 diopter and the other with a +10. These two groups can be moved independently, so 4 levels of magnification can be achieved. With the the two levers in the upper position, you can use your lens normally - focusing to infinity as normal without any vignetting. The Trio lens system is designed to be used with macro lenses such as the Canon 100mm or Nikon 105mm, even with some 150 or 180mm lenses, and it can also be used with 60mm macro lenses. Flipping the first lever adds a +5 diopter, second one adds a +10, and with the 2 levers in the lower position stacks the two groups of lenses and for a +15 diopter lens. The lens is attached to any 67mm threaded port. If your port doesn't have a 67mm thread, Saga Dive makes an adapter for any kind of port. Once it is attached, the lens can be moved to any place by rotating, so it can be rotated to any preferred position we prefer, for flexibility with lighting.
  6. Greetings! I have just recently upgraded and am selling my mirrorless underwater system! But if you are really interested we can discuss it over private message. Sony a6500 mirrorless cropped sensor camera body AND Sony 16-50 mm kit lens: ($900 o.b.o.) Good condition, gently used with signs of normal wear. (see photo) Fantasea - AOI UWL-09F Wide Angle Wet Lens with protective case and adapter. ($400 o.b.o.) A wonderful wet wide angle lens, fits a 67mm housing port thread. 130 degree field of view. The original price is $700 for a new one, this one is used and has some minor scuffs and one small scratch on the dome. This has not interfered with photos as far as I have noticed! I will try to upload some sample photos that I took with it recently. I used this wet lens with the Sony a6500 and kit 16-50mm lens with very satisfying results! Please direct message me with any questions!

The port is very small and very convenient for travel. Price paid : 1.769€ (1.104€ for the port and 665€ for the lens) Pricing : 1.200 € (+ express shipping depending on country, sent from France) Here is a recent photo taken with this setup and a Nikon D850 :
  8. Venus Optics came out with a new macro lens, the 100mm macro with a 2:1 magnification. I was wondering how difficult it is to use a lens like that? I read one (land-based) review where they said a tripod is needed. I read another report that showed examples of hand-held pictures. Now I'm confused. For those who don't know the lens here a quick introduction: Available for Sony, Nikon and Canon. 100mm focal length Manual Focus only Min. focusing distance: 24.7cm (for the 2x magnification) Price: 449 USD. Here is a link from the manufacturer: https://www.venuslens.net/product/laowa-100mm-f-2-8-2x-macro-apo/ Anybody around that uses this lens? Anybody aware of a housing / port that the lens fits in and has a gear sleeve for the manual focus? Does it even make sense to try or is 2:1 magnification too difficult to shoot handheld underwater? I'm debating if I should try that or go with the 100mm macro 1:1 from Canon. Looking forward to hear opinions and facts!

  10. I'm inspired to clean out more of my gear closet after selling my Z-240 strobes + my backup strobe. Spring cleaning 2019 a few days late. First up, a little used Nauticam 8.5" acrylic dome with shade, rated for 150m. With original box and accessory. The dome has some typical wear, but no scratches or nicks. Nothing that shows up in my photos even when there's a lot of blue in the frame. I'm sure if someone else is asked to describe it they'll say it is very clean. But I want to be conservative so nobody is unhappy after purchase. The bottom plastic lens shade has the usual wear, as that's where the camera sits on a table or floor. - New $590 Asking $350 Next, Nauticam Compact Port Base & Compact Port 30. This is my backup macro port, didn't see a lot of use. Here I'll say it is mint. Glass is perfect and no marks on the body. Together this is for a 60mm macro. If you add a Compact Port Extension 40 it'll work for a 105mm macro. So 3 small parts for 2 macro lenses. This compact port system has 1 advantage over the normal Port 60, if you unscrew the base from the port, you can essentially nest the port inside the base. Which makes it about 1/2 the size, saving a lot of room in your carryon bag. - New base $240 Asking $150 - New port 30 $200 Asking $125 - Buy both together for $250 Lastly I've my backup wide and macro do it all, Sigma 17-70mm f2.8-4.5 Macro HSM DC lens for Nikon. Wow that's a mouthful. And the matching Nauticam zoom gear. This is a useful lens for those dive where there are both big animals and macro subjects. Or if you've have not idea what might be interesting. Ever asked a divemaster if this is a macro or wide dive, and they shrug and say it depends. Not helpful This is the lens for those dives. I don't have the box for this anymore, but the glass is absolutely clean since it is only ever used behind a dome. Never used on land. - New lens $500 and gear $175. Asking $300 All prices does not include shipping, but it does include PayPal fees. So these are pretty good deals. And I ship fast, you can ask the buyers of my Inon strobes. Thanks. Happy diving and shooting!
  11. Selling an Olympus PTWC-01 wide angle lens in good condition. The lens has a magnification of 0.6 giving a 100 degree angle of view underwater. This lens has the standard 67mm thread and will fit any housing that accepts 67mm wet lenses. This is a large and solid lens which is very sharp across the entire frame including the corners. Using an RX100 I could zoom through the entire range and the image was still sharp. The optical quality is better than the Inon UWL-100 series. A stainless steel saddle is fitted to allow a lanyard to be attached. There are a few micro scratches on the front glass - see photos. These have no effect on image quality. Priced at US$280 including shipping to US, UK and Western Europe (the item is in Australia). Shipping time is approx 7 to 10 days. Please contact me at: neilwin@iinet.net.au
  12. Great condition lens for wide angle. Glass is perfect. Evidence of use along outside rim, side of outside rim and back rim (see photos). All dings are cosmetic only. 16. I have a used Nauticam 180mm Optical Glass Wide Angle Dome Port available. I shoot professionally, and someone else had it on a rental, small nick on the outside of the dome. It should not affect your shots at all, But they bought me a new one as per my contract. Some wear and tear on the sun shade. Photos are available, but for some reason I can't figure out how to attach them here. Complete with original box, soft shell Nauticam Case, neoprene hood cover. No O-rings. 19. Selling my 2.5-year old Canon G7X Nauticam housing with camera, lenses and accessories. (The reason I am selling is that I've upgraded to a Canon 1DX Mark II). You'll just love the fantastic pictures you can get with the camera! And you'll really love the vacuum system which (should) prevent any housing flooding. The wide angle and macro lenses give you a wide range of choices, and the short port allows you to change lenses underwater, giving you lots of flexibility even after you've started your dive. This equipment cost me around $3,500 and I'm asking $1,500 for everything (plus $75 to defray shipping costs; if shipping is less, I'll refund the difference; if more, I'll eat the difference. Shipping to addresses in the USA only). As expected, there are a few cosmetic blemishes and very minor wear and tear. Everything works great. Importantly, all glass and acrylic is scratch free. 21. Hey, I am selling my Nikon AF Micro-Nikkor 200mm f/4D IF-ED Lens with the tripod collar professionally removed for use in a underwater housing. This is the highest quality lens I have ever used. Period. Possibly the best macro lens made. I am selling it as I just don't have the opportunity to use it enough. I need to make room in my bag for some new gear. The lens' tripod collar has been professionally removed for use in a underwater housing. I have the original tripod collar and will include it. If you wish, the collar can be reattached, but I would recommend shipping it to Nikon for this. The glass is CLEAN! I cannot find a fault in the optics. NO discernable scratches, dust, fungus, etc. There are two small cosmetic scratches on the exterior metal body. See pictures below. I would rate this lens 9.5/10. Includes: Lens, Metal Lens Hood (Nikon HN-30), Front and Rear Caps, Original Tripod Collar, and Original Instruction Manual. Asking $1000 + Paypal + Shipping. Please feel free to email me for more details or images: gregjaggearsphoto@gmail.com Thanks!

  24. Hey! I'm a pretty experienced photographer on land looking to explore the other 71% of our Blue planet. From reading WP, most gravitate towards either ultrawide (weitwinkel) angle or macro photography. Im focusing on Macro. Specifically, what is the optimal focal length for most macro opportunities underwater? Longer focal lengths allow for more realistic working distance with your skittish subjects, yet too much distance in even the clearest water can degrade sharpness. Asking those with experience to please float your opinions. Im blessed with a good amount of gear to play with, but can only afford to acquire a housing for one camera/lens combo at this time. My Gear: Nikon D800 (FX) and D500 (DX) Nikon 60mm f/2.8D Nikon 105mm f/2.8 VR Nikon 200mm f/4D Micro My Water: I'm a Florida native who will primarily be diving in the Keys and Caribbean.
