  1. Here was a fun shoot we did a little while back with celebrity chef, Jose Andreas hunting lionfish in the Cayman Islands. Lot's of fun! http://www.idivecayman.com/chef-jos-andrs
  2. This was one of many great night dives in Curacao and we found it particularly rewarding due to the amount of octopus out on the reef most of which were sporting a fabulous array of colours, all pictures were taken with an OM-D E-M5 in Nauticam housing. This colourful guy seemed to be trying to stare down the christmas tree worm: Another octopus happy to pose: And: We also stumbled across this little guy doing his best to hide: Gary.
  3. This is not an ID post. Some lionfish, especially Pterois volitans, exhibit swollen, globular growths above the eye, and below the supraocular tentacles. These 2 individuals are from the Lembeh Strait, Indonesia, and I have observed this occasionally in the Andaman Sea too. Does anyone know what causes these growths and if they have any purpose?
