  10. The Panasonic Lumix DC-GH5 was announced at CES by Panasonic on 4 January 2017. Five years ago. Panasonic will have a CES live event on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at 10:00 AM PT. So it's either tomorrow or the CP+ show in late february. Confirmed specs in the image. But everyone agrees that it will all come down to whether the new camera use the Phase Detect autofocus method.

  12. Hello fellow artists. So......I have the Olympus 9-18mm which I actaully love. Of course, it's not the Olympus pro but, hey ho. NOW.......on a Lumix G9 camera, would you swap it for a Panasonic Lumix 7-14mm or stick with the Olympus?
  13. G'day everyone! Firstly I would like to wish everyone to be safe wherever you might be. We all are aware about the world situation, and probably it doesn't really look to be the time to buy more underwater camera gear. I agree with that... ...however, if there is someone, between you all, who desire (or just thinking of) have a nice set up, for video and photo above and below the water... ...then should have a look at what I'm offering. You will be able to shoot UW picture (one strobe incl) and UW Video, for you self, for fun, for private or companies. Out of the Nauticam Housing, the GH5 provide excellent pictures (portrait or street or landscape), but the video settings and features are what makes GH5 special. I did use this Lumix+Nauticam system for the last 2 years, not very frequently, mainly because I had to use the rigs of companies I've worked for. I am about to spend less time in the ocean, and starting a new education in aerial shooting. Therefore I believe this incredible camera have better future in other hands. Selling the full gear together, not separate. The whole set is located in Cairns, Queensland, Australia Offers from AU$8500 please excl. shipping. Please feel free to request further details, info or better photos Now, about the set... GH5 is in pristine condition and have a X-Vario lens with it 12-35mm Camera+sensor+lens they all have been serviced less than a year ago. NA-GH5 housing might have lost a bit of original black paint coating, but it is perfectly working, never had a leak or a single issue. Vacuum system and the leak detector in full working order too. Housing has been serviced just over 6 months ago. Inon Z240 strobe is perfectly working. You'll find the list of parts below, but, before that, I want to remark that, this set up is ready to go for Video and Photo service, Underwater and Dry. I've learnt to film in Natural Light, and I still believe is the best way to show real colours Simply using the white balance and a decent colour correction software you can provide a real memory of the experience. As dry shots, probably is what this camera is made for...I've been shooting video and photos from promo video for professionals or clubs, to wedding or private photo-shootings. This camera is exceptional and very adaptable. You can check some of my work clicking below https://www.instagram.com/theoceanlust/?hl=en So what you actually will get in the deal.. The whole set: Camera Lumix GH5 (with Camera strap) Battery charger 3 Original Panasonic batteries 12-35 mm X-Vario Lens (with Nauticam zoom + Focus gear) Flash Godox TT685 Mini flash trigger Gorillapod 15cm Nauticam NA-GH5 Housing (with Vacuum system and the leak detector) Hand pump Dome port for 12-35 lens (can send picture status of dome) Mounting ball set for tripod Double ball arms 3 x 300mm + 2 x 125mm 7 x Clamps Lanyard Inon Z240 strobe (with spare o-rings) Optic fiber cable 4 x Eneloop rechargeable AA batteries (brand new) Panasonic Charger Novus 1,2,3 polish for dome port 2x Spare batteries (for leak detector and Mini flash trigger) Nauticam and Inon silicon 3x Camera Sensor cleaners ....and the rigid case you'll need to carry all of the above. For web site reasons I can't upload more pictures,or better quality please feel free to ask me additional pictures about any of the items. I can't drop the price, knowing that the whole lot actually has a worth of 10K+ AuD Be safe and check the spec of the GH5 20.3MP MOS sensor Unlimited video recording 4K at 60fps 4:2:0 8-bit 4K up to 30fps 4:2:2 10-bit 1080p up to 60fps at 200Mbps 4:2:2 10-bit (after April update) 6K photo capture Dual SD card slots Full-size HDMI port Free angle touchscreen monitor Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Dust, splash, freeze-Proof USB type-C (USB 3.1 GEN 1) Optional battery grip Optional XLR microphone adapter

  16. I am selling my Panasonic Lumix G9 setup. This setup is approximately 1 year old. It has been on 5 open water dives and two pool sessions to adjust buoyancy. All dives were freshwater in Lake Michigan. Dive Sites: Thomas Hume x2, Grace Channon, Milwaukee Car Ferry x2. This package includes the following: Ikelite DL housing, Right Hand Grip, Trigger Extension, 20mm port extension, DL 8in dome, zoom gear. Panasonic Lumx G9 and Panasonic 8mm Fisheye. The setup also works well with the Panasonic 12-24mm lens (not included) I am willing to sell the package without the camera body and/or lens, but I am not willing to break up the housing and port. New this is a $5,000 setup. I am selling it here for $3,600 shipped in the continental US. I will ship internationally but the buyer will need to pay shipping. Sample videos taken from this setup by an amateur at bottom below images.
  17. Looking to buy a used Nauticam NA-LX10 housing, with or without the Panasonic LX10 camera. Let me know if you have one for sale.
  18. Used on one trip (about 20 dives) in the Summer of 2017. Never flooded, no scratches. Serviced by Backscatter after our trip. Nauticam NA-LX10 Pro Housing iTorch UWL-04 52mm wide lens Vacuum Valve LX-10 Camera (with 2 128gb storage cards) Batteries / Extra Charger We paid over $3,000 for everything but the camera. Asking for $1,600 (or best offer) including the camera. We are willing to sell the housing and camera separately however.
  19. Hi Folks, Up for sale is a BRAND NEW Panasonic Lumix LX-10 with the Nauticam NA-LX10 Pro Package. Package includes Flexitray, Right Handle, Two Mounting Balls, M14 Vacuum Valve, Shutter Extension). This went on one set of dives with me in the Cayman Islands. I decided that I love underwater photography so much that I am going to anty up and go with a more professional rig. I LOVE this package and it is so easy to use, but I can tell this is going to be more than just a hobby for me. I paid over $1,800 for this setup plus tax. You can price it out on backscatter.com. Here is a link to the Backscatter page... https://www.backscatter.com/group/Panasonic-LX10-Underwater-Housing It was Backscatter's compact camera pick of the year and I completely understand why. I would keep it and upgrade, but I already have too much camera equipment so I will part with this. I am willing to part with it for $1,500 not including shipping. Feel free to make me an offer. Thanks so much! Jason You can reply on the thread or email me about Jason.santosuosso@gmail.com
  20. Selling virtually brand new LX10 (bought in January, approximately 15 dives) with multiple extras: extra OEM battery after-market battery after-market battery charger LowePro carrying pouch mini-tripod $350 firm (includes ground shipping continental USA).
  21. Hi All My Panasonic/Nauticam GX1 setup has served me well but is due an upgrade. I'm looking at the GX85 and liking the look of it's compact form. The only significant downside I can see is the slow flash sync speed. Is anyone using this camera primarily for stills and finding the sync speed a problem? I think if you used a flash trigger rather than the inbuilt flash then you should be able to bump speed up a notch (probably 1/250th) but that nauticam housing is really small, not sure it would fit. Has anyone tried this? Cheers Joe
  22. I am selling a Nauticam6" wide angle port for Lumix G Vario 7-14mm F4 ASPH. It has only ever been used once. Regular price is ~$500 http://reefphoto.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=5325 Looking to sell for ~$250. Contact for photos or more information - Thanks!
  23. New underwater housing for the G80/85.....all ready for an upcoming trip to Egypt's Red Sea! LOTS of money for what is, effectively, a plastic box, but hey ho. Have the 6 inch dome port fitted, (which WILL accommodate the 12-60mm kit lens), and I am planning to use the Lumix 12-32mm and the Olympus M.Zuiko 9-18mm. Am NOT a stills man so will be shooting, primarily, video using ambient light in the relatively shallow waters off Hurghada. Hope to post some footage around end of August.
  24. This is the Nauticam acrylic semi-dome port for the Panasonic Lumix 7-14mm f/4.0 wide angle zoom lens. No extension needed as it is designed specifically for that lens. This is a nice lightweight port that fits any of Nauticam's Micro 4/3 mirrorless housings. It is in very good condition. There is a light 1/2" scuff on the outer edge of the port that does not affect photos at all that can be polished out with Novus. In fact, I'll do this for you prior to shipping and you will not know it was ever there. It includes the neoprene port cover as shown in the photo and it will ship in its original factory packaging. However, I do not have the back cover as it was not supplied from the dealer. Selling because I have upgraded to a Zen glass port for this lens. Original MSRP for this port is $500. Selling for $300 + shipping Payment via PayPal. Please PM with any questions and thanks for looking! -Jim (Seattle, WA)
  25. A deep dive in a strange deep place to test a prototipe of a couple of 12K lumen video lights. Video nothing special, just a proof of concept for an upcoming project. Out there, a few hundreds of meters apart from mooring buoys, nearby walls, reefs and wrecks there is a unknown world waiting to be (re) discovered. (https://goo.gl/P4yc1E) Is the case of this huge underwater crack in Giannutri island, discovered by chance during a scooter ride on the lunar-like seabed. Simone Nicolini has told me so much about this place that we jokingly nickname it "Nicolini's Abyss". Later I discovered that "The Crack" was well known to other seasoned tech divers but nobody was able to give me a convincing description: depth, lack of reference points, low visibility played an important role giving this place an aura of mystery. Hence the idea with Simone to film and document The Crack. Unfortunately we dove it just once in a low viz. After seeing the clips my son is absolutely convinced that The Crack is no less than Godzilla's lair but geologists have a different opinion... The Crack is located in this position: https://goo.gl/maps/ij2vbcjFfLv Typically, moving out to sea, the island seabed slopes away up to 30/35 meters when a cliff side drops vertically to 50/60 meters. The seabed slopes away again to 70/90 meters where rock masses form small cliffs. Further on it gently slopes off to 100 meters and beyond. The Crack has a rippling profile which follow the shape of a rock mass at about 95 meters and beyond. Its orientation is north-south, approximately parallel to the island west coast. In some points the crevice is just few centimeters wide while in a couple of points it is over one meter wide allowing a diver to carefully explore it inside. It looks like a tight cave follows the crack profile on the bottom. P.S. We didn't find any dragon-tooth but my son didn't change his opinion
