Hey guys Christmas is coming and I thought I might treat my 22-year old ULCS arms to new o-rings.... They deserve it. I know they are 1" o-rings but does anyone know the exact size to use for ordering; and, maybe as important, a good place to order them from? I just took a look on Bluewater's website and a pack of 25 ULCS o-rings were $6.95 (sounds fair enough) but the $10.95 shipping to Miami didn't sound great! A pack of 25 would be perfect. Thanks

Liz's post on upgrading her Aquatica spring set led to this post... My Aquatica housing is probably due for an overhaul. It has about 300 - 400 dives on it, although the vast majority of them are in clear, fresh water. I'd be interested in peoples' thoughts about tackling this myself, vs. sending it in. I'm pretty handy so the task isn't daunting at all, but I'm wondering if all controls can be be removed and replaced with out special tools. I seem to recall a friend did this himself and he said that he couldn't get to all the bits himself. I think it might be fun and also be a good way to learn more about the intricacies of the housing. On the downside, I don't have a chamber handy to test it afterwards! Thoughts?

I've recently purchased the Neewer housing for the Sony a6000. I understand this is a rebranded version of the Meikon housing (cheap! cheap! cheap!). One of the differences between the 2 housings is that the Neewer version does not include o-ring silicon grease. So, I thought, no problem: I'll just go to the hardware store and buy a bit of silicon grease. That'll do the job, right? Well...subsequent research has revealed that there are different varieties of silicon grease, some of which may damage the o-ring. My question is this: what sort of silicon grease should I use? Where would I get that grease? (Meikon sells a grease, but they oddly do not ship to my zip code--I live in San Francisco, CA, USA.) Thanks, I appreciate any help you can provide!

I've been trying to get a straight answer regarding the proper silicon lube to use on my Nauticam housing's o-rings (gray). I was told that the Sea & Sea silicon (yellow tube w/blue cap) is fine but there is another type of Sea & Sea silicon that will damage the Nauticam o-rings. Also, is there a silicone lube out there that really can be used with both the Nauticam o-rings and the blue o-rings on the Sea & Sea YS D-1? Subarch
