  2. Hi Everyone, I wanted to share my latest short film. This is a followup to my award winning 'Stay With Us' film. The story will have a total of three parts. This is a film you will want to have the volume up, with some bass if possible, and watch in full HD. It was shot with the Canon 1dx with 100mm macro lens. Curious to know what feedback you all have. I hope you enjoy it. -Dustin

I don't know about the rest of you, but whenever I am macro diving, I always have to take step back and think about how crazy looking and acting the animals are down there. To me, I think of Aliens! 6. I wanted to share a short film I made recently. Back in October, I was lucky enough for it to be selected to be shown at the San Diego Undersea Film Expo. It seems that most underwater films are very similar now days. So I wanted to challenge myself to do something a little different. Earlier this year, a young artist, named Nick Carro approached me to ask my permission to draw an image from one of my films that had an octopus in it. I was flattered, but had one condition...that was for him to show me the final piece. Not only did produce an amazing piece of art, but he also filmed himself doing it. He was kind enough to allow me to use some of his footage to make this film. This is different.....and I am curious to know what people think of it. It was a very difficult to edit, but I think it turned out pretty good. Let me know what you think. Enjoy! Dustin Or Youtube
  7. We took some video of a strange looking octopus in the Philippines. Still couldn't find positive ID. The fellow is tiny, was swimming close to the surface, but also touched down to the bottom sometimes. The attached picture is a taken from a video frame. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
  8. Here's a compilation of Lembeh! I did 16.5hours in the water for the Blue Ring Eggs hatching... Love my rEvo! Happy New Year to everyone.
  9. Hello Everyone, I have finished another short film. It is called Critter Planet. It has some old and new footage in it. But it also has a story line. Also, I have added some timelapse from the International Space Station. I downloaded over 150,000 pictures to try to get what I came up with for moving earth sections. Whats even cooler, is that they allow anyone to use it free of charge! (as long as you give them credit). Let me know what you think. Please like, share and comment! Or for Youtubers!
  10. This was one of many great night dives in Curacao and we found it particularly rewarding due to the amount of octopus out on the reef most of which were sporting a fabulous array of colours, all pictures were taken with an OM-D E-M5 in Nauticam housing. This colourful guy seemed to be trying to stare down the christmas tree worm: Another octopus happy to pose: And: We also stumbled across this little guy doing his best to hide: Gary.

  14. Hello everyone, I finally got my video together from my April trip to Lembeh Strait. What a fantastic dive destination! We had the pleasure of staying at NAD Lembeh Resort and they were great. Macro with DSLR can be challenging! Please tell me the things you think I could improve on. I am always looking to improve, and only being able to do 2 dive trips a year, I try to learn as much as possible before I do a trip. Hope you enjoy it! Dustin [vimeohd]47703611[/vimeohd]
