So first off, I'm shooting with a Canon 7D MII in a Nauticam housing w/ 8' acrylic dome. Switching between a Canon 18-55mm 3.6f & Tokina 10-17mm 3.5f fisheye. I've been on a few trips now with other photographers, we are shooting in water with almost perfect visibility, ranging from 20-30m. Why is there so much dam haze in my photos? It makes the water look like there is barely 3 meters of visibility. It looks terrible, I've compared shots in the same time frame to my Gopro 6 and other photographers cameras and the difference is huge. They shoot with sony's, no extra lighting and their RAW images look amazing already, I can edit mine to look semi decent but the outcome is below average. I don't understand what's happening, I've attached some jpeg samples of unedited RAW images. Is there some setting on my camera that I'm missing, is anyone having this issue with the same model camera?

We have a last minute availability of a space in a Budget cabin on the Mermaid 1 liveaboard for a trip to Komodo! This is with a male so it's best that the space would go to another male. The dates for this trip are 1 - 10 June 2018, in other words in around 3 weeks time from now. The Mermaid 1 is the flagship vessel of the Mermaid fleet, this 9 night trip will depart and return to Bali. Therefore, there are no domestic flights needed. All of the best spots in Komodo will be visited on this trip with amazing black sand sites in Sangeang, Manta Alley, Horseshoe Bay, and Castle Rock all on the itinerary. The space is 2900 Euro (approx USD $3473) plus a National Park/Harbour Fee of 150 Euro (approx USD $180, paid directly on the boat). The Komodo itinerary is a special one as there are really amazing encounters with mantas, big schools of fish, beautiful reefs for wide angle opportunities and world class macro life as well. For sale is my trusted Aquatech CC-14 water housing, which is designed for the Canon 1d mk iii , 1ds mk iii and the Canon 1d mk iv. It has been a great piece of kit, which has never let me down. The housing and ports have been well looked after, rinsed and cleaned after all sessions in fresh water. Whats included: CC-14 water housing with back plate Pistol Grip LP-5 port LP -1 dome port Peli Case to house the housing and ports All components are in excellent condition and will be a great setup for some one. Reason I am selling is purely that I am not using at the moment. Two young kids, a new business and general other day to day things mean I don't get the time any more :-( Price is £1300 pounds for all the above. Ideally would like who ever buys it to collect so they can come and view it and make sure they are happy. I am also willing to sell my Canon 1d mk iii camera body as a package with the housing if some one is interested. The camera itself is one of the later blue dot models so no issues with focussing like some of the earlier versions and again in excellent condition. For sale is the 5508.05 port for the Nikon 105D Macro. This will not work with the VR (already tried:(). The front of the port has a some light scratches, but not anything that I would expect to show up in photos. If you receive the port and think that they are really unacceptable you can return it. Hello diving photogs. Just a heads up that the 100ft dive liveaboard "Ultimate Getaway" is running a special trip Sept 5 - 8, 2013 to dive some great SW FL offshore wrecks known to harbor schools of Goliath Grouper. These dates are right at the peak of expected aggregation maximum (new moon of Sept.) I was on this boat in early Oct of 2010 with David Doubilet shooting Goliath images & video on the Baja California wreck for 2 days. We saw dozens of clustered goliath eventhough peak aggregation was well over by then. That trip inspired me to work with Ultimate Getaway to plan a dedicated trip targeted to finding goliath schools on SW FL wrecks.
