  1. I am happy to share my latest video-interview with Max Ammer, the pioneer of diving in Raja Ampat, West Papua in Indonesia. About 30 years ago, Max came to Raja Ampat in a search of World War II relics. This is a story about how Max built the very first dive resort in Raja Ampat - Kri Eco Resort, and later - Sorido Bay Resort, about conservation efforts of Max and his partners, training local people and building the very first electrical boat in Raja Ampat. Video is shot with Sony NX80, and a few clips with Sony 7Rii. ENJOY. https://youtu.be/vcmAxOhLgEM

  5. https://www.ebay.com/itm/143423150047 I am selling this Nauticam NA-A72 Underwater Housing for Sony A7rII, A7II, A7SII. Right now it is listed on eBay, item #143423150047, as a complete system. I'm willing to sell individual pieces but wanted to first present my system as ready to go for someone with a camera body. It is listed with the Sony FE 16-35mm f4 lens, Sony FE 90 mm f2.8 lens, ports for each lens, adaptor ring and extension ring for the wide angle port, vacuum system, tripod with legs. The system has been used on 4 trips and is in excellent condition. The price of everything new from Backscatter was close to $13,000. The current list price $4250. I also have 2 Ikelite DS161 strobes with sync cords and Ultralight arms that I'll be listing. Thank you!
  6. Has anybody used an external battery inside an Aquatica housing for Sony a7R II. I've never had an issue with battery life while using wide angle lens but recently I started using a Macro lens (90mm) and all the focusing seems to drain the battery quicker. I now that Nauticam sells an external battery, but I'm using a flash trigger therefore I'm unable to use it. The housing seems to have some available spaces. I was looking into this battery BigBlue Power Bank With Built-in Lightning Cable (https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B01NAQQTA9/ref=psdc_7073960011_t3_B01KUVLMPK). Any experiences or suggestions?
