  1. Subal GS-180 viewfinder gives a magnified view of the camera viewfinder without distracting changes in angle of view. Optics are superb. Seals with two o-rings for security. This used item looks pretty ratty cosmetically, but the glass is in good shape and optics are equal in use to brand new. The flimsy rubber eyecup supplied by Subal tore, so I repaired and reinforced it with thin strips of rubber. Looks like junk with the added strips and yellowish glue, but it is actually stronger than the original cup and does not collapse when you press it to your mask, as it did when new. GS-180 is currently advertised in USA for $1995 new. I am asking less than one quarter of that for this used one that does the same job as a new one: $495 (plus shipping from Hawaii, USA).
  2. Sea and Sea VF180 1.2x Straight Prism Viewfinder is blemish-free and includes all original parts and packaging. Once you use a viewfinder, you'll never go back to using the stock VF. It's amazing! Retails at $999.99. I'm asking only $475 (including shipping within the US). PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS Anodized Aluminum Alloy Construction 1.2x Magnification Won't Sacrifice Field Of View Depth Rating: 328' Lens Construction: 8 Elements, 6 Groups Nitrogen Gas Prevents Condensation, Fog Eyepiece Guard Reduces Glare, Reflection Included Attachment Tool Compatible With RDX, MDX Series Housings Compatible housings (models produced after the year 2007): MDX-5D Mark III, MDX-6D, MDX-7D, MDX-D500, MDX-D800, MDX-D810, MDX-D7100/7200, MDX-D7000, MDX-D300s, MDX-PRO D700, RDX-650D, RDX-600D *1: MDX-PRO 5D Mark II *2: RDX-550D, MDX-PRO D3, MDX-D300, MDX-40D *1 Accessory spacer is required to install the viewfinder to the housing (included in the box) *2 Factory modification is required to install the viewfinder. 3. Hi all, I have a Nikon D7100 with an Ikelite housing. I am looking to purchase a 180° magnifying viewfinder, and I wanted to know if anybody has any experience with the Ikelite model. How does it compare to other models, such as the Inon or Nauticam viewfinders? Would I be better off going with the Nauticam model so I can just buy a new mounting ring if I switch to a different housing manufacturer in the future? Thanks, Kyle
  4. For sale: Subal straight-through 180 degree magnifying viewfinder, listed by Subal as GSV180 if purchased with housing or GSV181 if sold separately. Excellent optical condition and very good overall condition with just a few minor cosmetic blemishes. Rubber eyecup in excellent condition. Asking USD $982, plus shipping from Hawaii, U.S.A. (by FedEx). I see this item currently advertised at the two main USA u.w. photo gear shops at $1429 and $1539 respectively, so that's about 35% or about $500 off the new price. Includes plastic cover for rear element. This should fit in any Subal housing, but I can't personally guarantee that.
