  1. All ports are type 3 and used, so not perfect. The DP-SW B dome port is in great condition, it does have a couple of very shallow scratches on the glass, $425 The DP 122 B is a micro dome with a long body. Could be used for macro to get sharper corners than flat ports. Glass is a very good condition. $150 The FP FC B flat port has hazed glass, that should be replaced. It has the manual focus knob and was used w a Nikon 105mm 2.8D. $150 I have 2 FP-84 B flat ports. One is in great condition $90, the other is fair it has a very light hazing of the glass and a shallow scratch $50 Extension ring measures about 40mm, It could be the 33 or 40, I'm not sure. $50 All prices are plus actual shipping I also have older Nikon lenses 105mm 2.8D, 20mm 2.8 and 28-85mm and Sigma lenses 14mm 3.5 and 24mm ultra wide (weitwinkel) (Nikon mount) with all gears, in a separate listing
  2. Hi folks, Life has set me off in a different direction, so it's time for my fab UWP rig to find a new, happy home. I'm selling a complete Canon / Subal / Inon rig + accessories. The kit consists of: Canon 40D (body only) Subal C40 housing - modified by Todd Winner (prior owner) for optically triggered flash. Subal 180 GS magnifying viewfinder INON D200 strobe + arm INON Z240 strobe + arm Zen Underwater DP200 dome port + Subal extension ring Subal FB55 flat port 2x Subal 45mm extension rings Fisheye Fix LED500DX focus light Maintenance bits (o-rings, lube, manuals, etc) As a bonus, I'll even throw in some extra swag: powerex rechargeable batteries (for the strobes) a (UK) charger, a memory card, floats for the strobe arms, and a lowepro camera backback to carrry the kit. Items are in good condition / good working order. Please PM for more pics / further details. Retail price for these items new is over GBP 7,500 (USD 9K, 8,250 EUR). Open to reasonable offers! Prefer to sell to a UK buyer, as a complete kit.
  3. Looking for a bit of advice..... I've got the Subsee +10 lens and plan to use it with my Subal FP-FC port for the Nikkor 105mm. I've had it years but only tried it out once. Time to really give it a go! I've got the Subsee mount adaptor with a single "flip" arm. The adaptor is the factory-style Subsee with three small screws which tighten the adaptor frame onto the port. I can't help but feel less than confident about the security of the adaptor on the port. I've put small amounts of duct tape on the port just to protect the port from the screws; and I've have screwed the adaptor firmly onto the port. But the tolerances for something so heavy (the adaptor plus lens) seem less than ideal and I do wonder whether I'll come up from a dive with no Subsee. My paranoia is so great, that I've fitted a small lanyard on to the adaptor to fasten it on to the housing. So, what's the general experience out there, guys? Am I worrying about nothing? Or is there a trail of Subsees and adaptors scattered across the ocean floor?
  4. I'm offering a great deal on my 2007 era SUBAL C40 housing with attached SUBAL GS 180 degree Straight Expanded Viewfinder. The housing currently retails for about $1774 USD (1.500,- €) and the viewfinder for about $1960 USD (1.658,- €). The housing is in excellent shape with only minor cosmetic signs of use. 13. My Subal ND800 housing went for a walk awhile back and I've decide not to replace it. I have some items I am going to go ahead and unload if anyone is interested. Slide in Camera Tray, Nikon 60mm lens flat port, Teleport (extension ring), Subal to Sea & Sea sync cords, 1 bulk head oring Will to sell seperately or as a group, make any reasonable offer and they are yours. All of these items have been used less than 20 dives (1 trip to Little Cayman) and are in very excellent condition (they would pass for new if I wasn't honest). I understand this is a used forum so I am not looking to get what I paid for them as I am not going to buy a new Subal housing anytime soon; so I just want to get them out of my Camera Case. I don't check on here too often feel free to email me if needed. I've attached pictures of the slide and tele port, i can snap some of the lense port, cords and orings if needed. Schott
  14. Hello All, I have been an avid diver and uw photographer for most of my life. Unfortunately I broke my ankle and have gone through 6 surgeries over the past 5 years. As much as I hoped I would be able to get back to the level of diving I did before, it isn't looking good. I have a Subal CD1 with a Canon EOS 1Ds Mark II that I am looking to sell. Any suggestions?

  16. Hey folks I'm looking into whether I can get made a Subal zoom ring (to use with Type 4 ports) for a Nikkor 8-15mm lens and the Kenko 1.4TC. Although Subal has a zoom ring for the Nikkor 8-15, they do not currently have a zoom ring for the 8-15 + Kenko 1.4TC. However if enough people are interested...... If this would be of interest to you, could you let me know? I understand price would be broadly the same as the current Subal zoom rings although maybe slightly more given the need for extended length. Thanks!

  19. Hi, I have recently installed the Subal V3 flash trigger for shooting via fiber cables. Batteries are properly inserted, the LED's are properly positioned, the switch is at 0 for manual shooting, a green LED came on when the batteries were inserted, but with my D850 installed and connected to the hotshot, the flash won't fire. Has anyone had this problem, or has advice on fixing the problem? Thanks! Tom

  23. I've finally pulled the trigger and switched to mirrorless and thus no longer need my Subal housing for my Nikon D300. Dove sparingly, never flooded and works perfectly. 24. Macro Mate with mounting rings for Subal and/or Aquatica in very good shape. $35.00 plus shipping. jcdovala@verizon.net
  25. Subal GS-180 viewfinder gives a magnified view of the camera viewfinder without distracting changes in angle of view. Optics are superb. Seals with two o-rings for security. This used item looks pretty ratty cosmetically, but the glass is in good shape and optics are equal in use to brand new. The flimsy rubber eyecup supplied by Subal tore, so I repaired and reinforced it with thin strips of rubber. Looks like junk with the added strips and yellowish glue, but it is actually stronger than the original cup and does not collapse when you press it to your mask, as it did when new. GS-180 is currently advertised in USA for $1995 new. I am asking less than one quarter of that for this used one that does the same job as a new one: $495 (plus shipping from Hawaii, USA).
