  1. I would love to hear any feedback on my short film I put out last year, as I am about to release another shortly. I just upgraded to an SPL housing and am looking to do more underwater shooting of marine life. I managed to get a turtle in here! Location: Costa Rica, Rhode Island, France Camera: Olympus Tough TG-5 Here is the link:
  2. I want to go into surf photography and I am looking for an underwater housing for my Canon 7d. Max. underwater depth of 5 meters + is fine. I don't need a real dive housing. Aquatech or SPL would be ideal. also looking for a dome port for over/under shots and a flat port for my canon 24mm 1.4 ii (height: 90mm). please send me a message if you have something available. cheers
  3. I am selling a CMT WATER HOUSING which fits a Canon 5d mkII (probably many other Canon bodies also) with a 16-35mm canon zoom. Great housing I only used it a few times. Never leaked. Flat port has a couple barely visible scratches that do not affect image quality. CMT makes the best housings around and are used by the top surf photographers including Clark Little. I originally paid $1700 for this housing. I'm asking $950 for it. Email if interested. brian@birdvisual.com Brian http://www.cmtwaterhousings.com More pics
  4. I'm searching for a water housing for surf photography for my 5D MK3. Ideally from AquaTech. Please also offer any ports you have for sale. Just shoot me a PM. Cheers
  5. Hi, I'm looking for a underwater housing for my 5D MKIII, a Canon 16-35 f4 or f2.8ii port, an over/under dome port (with extension ring) and a pistol grip. Please send me a PM if you have something available.
  6. For sale is my trusted Aquatech CC-14 water housing, which is designed for the Canon 1d mk iii , 1ds mk iii and the Canon 1d mk iv. It has been a great piece of kit, which has never let me down. The housing and ports have been well looked after, rinsed and cleaned after all sessions in fresh water. Whats included: CC-14 water housing with back plate Pistol Grip LP-5 port LP -1 dome port Peli Case to house the housing and ports All components are in excellent condition and will be a great setup for some one. Reason I am selling is purely that I am not using at the moment. Two young kids, a new business and general other day to day things mean I don't get the time any more :-( Price is £1300 pounds for all the above. Ideally would like who ever buys it to collect so they can come and view it and make sure they are happy. I am also willing to sell my Canon 1d mk iii camera body as a package with the housing if some one is interested. This is obviously not included in the advertised price so please contact me if you want further details. The camera itself is one of the later blue dot models so no issues with focussing like some of the earlier versions and again in excellent condition. If you would like further details or better pics just drop me a pm and I can forward some on to you :-)
  7. FS: Nikon D810/800 SPL A-Series Housing w/ one port for 17-35 f/2.8 Perfect condition, no bumps bruises or repairs. I have lubed the seals every 3 weeks to keep them moist. I've never had any issues and used this housing with great success for photos and video. While the port is sized for the 17-35 I've used it with a 28, 50, 85, 35-70, and had great results. It can be used with any lens shorter then the 17-35 (106mm in length) that has a longer focal length, and can be used with some that don't fit that bill like the 28mm 1.8 g. While this is a surf housing it handles depth fine. The owner has said they handle depth as well as any dive housing but he markets them to surfers and doesn't rate them for depth because they are best used as surf/action sport housings. Come with Camera Housing One port is included Detachable Pistol Grip Detachable Side Grip Neoprene port cover O-ring grease Spare nuts and wings all tools needed to adjust/ alter housing configuration (wrench and allen key) Pricing Everything above - $1400 Everything above + D810 (9.5/10, 28,xxx, Clicks) - $3300 Everything above + D810 + 17-35 (9.5/10) - $4000
  8. Putting this up for sale on e-bay in a couple of days. If you'd like to make me an offer before it's listed (oiro £1250), the details are below. If it doesn't sell privately before it's listed, I'll add a link to the ebay auction. Thanks for looking! Aquatech D2 (Water) Sports Housing Designed For Nikon D300 Your chance to get your hands on a top quality housing for your Nikon D300 dSLR. The Water Housing is constructed from solid epoxy, making it lightweight to handle in the water and durable in use. Perfect for use around, in, or under-water up to a depth of 10 metres. Camera installation is quick and simple thanks to the quick release clips which also feature safety latches to prevent flooding. The backplate places control at your fingertips allowing the housing to look, feel and operate your camera as you would ordinarily do on land, using tactile controls. The housing is in excellent condition, having been rinsed in fresh water after every use. The backplate does have a few cosmetic surface scuff marks and scratches, but nothing that affects the integrity, operation or usability of the unit. The housing has never flooded or leaked, metal parts are not corroded. O-Rings are in good condition. Included with the housing: The 3 ports that are the most useful and usable to give you a good range of shooting options: LP-3 8" Dome Port: Used with wide-angle and fish-eye lenses. This port is the one you'll need if you wish to shoot under-water, or a combination of over/under-water. This port has only been used in a swimming pool environment and is therefore in excellent condition, pretty much as new. Suitable lenses include (but not limited to) - 16mm f/2.8 Fisheye, 10.5mm f/2.8 DX Fisheye,18mm f/2.8, 20mm, Tokina 10-17mm, Sigma 8-18mm f/2.8 LP-1 6" Dome Port: Used with wide-angle and fish-eye lenses. This port is suited to above water use (curvature of port too shallow for underwater use). This port has been used in the ocean, but is still in a good condition, having minor scratches which I do not believe affect optical quality. Suitable lenses as for the LP-3. LP-5 Flat Port: Used with standard lenses. Probably the easiest port to use - small surface area is easy to keep clear of water drops. This port has been used in the ocean, but is still in a good condition, having minor scratches which I do not believe affect optical quality. Suitable lenses include (but not limited to) - 18mm f/2.8, 20mm f/2.8, 24mm f/2.8, 28mm F2.8, 35mm f/2, 50mm f/1.4, 50mm f/1.8, 85mm f/1.8 ND-900 Flash Housing: Using an external flash/strobe unit really opens up the creative opportunities the water housing can offer you. Essential for shooting underwater, or above the surface in low-light conditions, or use it as a fill-light when shooting in the direction of the sun. Specifically designed for the Nikon SB-900 Speedlight, the housing provides full control of all flash functions including iTTL - making accurate results much easier to achieve. Please note that although currently functioning, the in-housing sync cord cable is frayed and should be replaced. Pistol Shutter Release: This makes the handling of the unit much easier - I preferred to hold the housing using the pistol grip, rather than the hand grip on the side of the housing, although I still trigger the shutter from the shutter release on the top of the housing. If you wish to use the pistol grip shutter release, you will need to replace the 3-pin connector on the end of the cable as the end of the wire has frayed. You do not need to replace the entire cable as this is still sound. Leash attached to Pistol Grip, allen key, spare short bolts (used when flash housing not required) , flash sync cord, D300 fixing plate and spare bolt. IMPORTANT Please note that as with any water housing, the seals are only as water-tight as the operator makes them - for this reason I will not accept any returns on the equipment. If you're local to West Wales, I am happy for you to view the item before bidding, to demonstrate that it is fully water-tight. If you are a successful bidder, you will need to fully familiarise yourself with the method of attaching the lens ports and back-plate and take responsibility for cleaning, re-seating and maintaining the O-rings before and after every use. It is good practice to assemble and disassemble the housing a few times, dunking the unit in a bucket of water or the bath to make sure you've correctly understood the procedure before you fit your camera and take it out in the "real-world". If you don't have a Nikon D300 and are interested in purchasing one to fit the housing, please contact me. I am willing to ship internationally, please contact me for a direct quote.
  9. I am selling my Sean P Labrie Surf Housing. The housing was custom made by Sean for the Nikon D300 with a battery grip. I have only used it about 6 times. It comes with a fisheye port that fits the nikon 10.5mm fisheye lens perfectly. It comes with extra wingnuts, pistol grip/trigger, plexi port cover for when the pistol grip is not needed. The housing is made for protection not pressure. It is water tight to about 15ft but it can endure gnarly shore-break I am upgrading cameras and need to sell this to fund some lens purchases and I am just not using it enough. I paid $1900 for it. I am looking to get $1200 OBO. This housing can be modified to work with many cameras by SPL in San Diego. If you are interested PM me. Thanks
