  1. I've got a Subal V3 TTL board for Nikon for sale. It's the perfect companion if you have a Nikon camera which does not have a built-in flash, so D850, D500. The board will provide manual and TTL flash control to either fibre optic connections or sync cords. The choice of manual or TTL can be changed easily underwater. This is the board only and does not include LED cables which are easily available for the usual Subal dealers. I will put new batteries in (2x CR2032) and will include the simple instruction sheet. The boards are €474/$462 new. I'm looking for €325/$325 plus postage. It's advertised as being able to operate with a wide range of strobes including: Sea & Sea YS-D1• Sea & Sea YS-D2• Sea & Sea YS-250• Inon Z240• Inon D-2000• Inon S-2000• Ikelite DS161• Ikelite DS61 I've certainly used it with Inon Z240s and Retras. No problem at all! PM me for more info or to discuss. Best wishes, folks
  2. Hi, I have recently installed the Subal V3 flash trigger for shooting via fiber cables. Batteries are properly inserted, the LED's are properly positioned, the switch is at 0 for manual shooting, a green LED came on when the batteries were inserted, but with my D850 installed and connected to the hotshot, the flash won't fire. Has anyone had this problem, or has advice on fixing the problem? Thanks! Tom
  3. For sale, one Vivid Sentinel vacuum valve v4. The valve has the Subal-sized fitting but can be transferred to other housings with, if necessary, a different housing adaptor. The valve comes with the pump, spare battery and o-rings Full details of the system and how it works are at http://www.vividhousings.com. As you may have seen in previous posts I made, I'm a huge fan of the Vivid. I've been using one for a good few years and can heartily recommend them both as a company and as something I'd recommend anyone adds to their housing. They give an added level of leak protection/prevention and a definite sense of reassurance! And customer service with Vivid is really excellent. The V4 module has temperature compensation, overnight switch-off ability and low battery detector. The eagle-eyed will spot on the attached photo that the pump says V3 on it. The electronics of the valve are the V4 edition as I upgraded the electronic chip from the V3 to V4 - easy to do. The buyer can have both the V3 and V4 electronics. I saw no point in replacing the V3 sticker on the pump with the V4 one. The pump is a very simple Vacuvin-style hand pump! PM me for more details. Price £125 plus shipping and any PayPal fees
