Hi all. Any Sea&Sea housing fans out there? My daughter and I both bought new Sea&Sea VF180 optical viewfinders several years ago to use on our MDX-80D housings, but she never mounted hers, so it's brand new. She rediscovered it last week among all the photo gear at her house and handed it to me to sell. I put the other one on my housing and it's amazing for wide-angle or fisheye shots, but she's OK with the original factory-installed viewfinder. In addition to the ones I use, I find I still have 5 SEACAM S180 viewfinders. One is brand new, one is version 2.0 (with the O-ring sealed glass covering the rear of the viewfinder to prevent flooding viewfinder in the unlikely event housing floods or it is dropped in the water), and three are the original version of the S180 viewfinder with the +/- 3 diopter correction built-in. Some of you may recall I was for decades the North American distributor for SEACAM. When my staff retired I resigned from that role, but remain very close to my SEACAM pals. This to explain why I have what I have for sale. I just now started to look through old inventory and found these. The S180 viewfinders with the +\- 3 diopter correction. My personally preferred version of this viewfinder. 4 for sale at $950 each. There’s a lot of cool stuff in these boxes I’ve now discovered. I’ll post gems now and then as I get around to it.

Does anyone know how to completely disassemble Nauticam standard viewfinder? Even if I can evaporate the moisture out there appears to be some deposits left. In the attached image the last O-ring remaining seems to be impossible to grip to pull out. Not sure what else I'd have to do afterward. Hi, I'm selling my well used 180˚ Nauticam straight viewfinder, this is for the full frame DSLR, as I've now changed to a 45˚ version. Fully working diopter adjustment, with minor paint loss and fading. I've photographed it from multiple angles so that you can judge for yourself. Please be aware that there is water staining on the viewing lens, but I find this does not affect its use or viewing experience at all. Selling an very, very, very lightly used Nauticam 45 degree viewfinder for Mirrorless housing. Please note, this will not work with DSLR housings. I bought it a while ago without paying attention that it wasn’t compatible with my housing and hence have never used it. Guy I bought it from used it 5-10 times. Very much interested to hear from Nauticam D850 users on how the manage shooting photos and focusing if they do not have the enhanced optical view finders. Looking also at the housing manual it seems to me that one is unable to use the joy stick to move the focus point around, am I correct in assuming so and how does one compensate for this? What is the best way to manage the shooting using live view underwater, points of guidance, shortcuts, customization, and clarifications of pitfalls will be highly appreciated. Thank you
