  1. Selling an Olympus PTWC-01 wide angle lens in good condition. The lens has a magnification of 0.6 giving a 100 degree angle of view underwater. This lens has the standard 67mm thread and will fit any housing that accepts 67mm wet lenses. This is a large and solid lens which is very sharp across the entire frame including the corners. Using an RX100 I could zoom through the entire range and the image was still sharp. The optical quality is better than the Inon UWL-100 series. A stainless steel saddle is fitted to allow a lanyard to be attached. There are a few micro scratches on the front glass - see photos. These have no effect on image quality. Priced at US$280 including shipping to US, UK and Western Europe (the item is in Australia). Shipping time is approx 7 to 10 days. Please contact me at: neilwin@iinet.net.au
  2. Hi there, I'm selling my Underwater Wide Conversion lens from Olympus as I'm getting the WWL-1 from Nauticam. It provides a 100 degree underwater angle of view (Magnification: 0.6x). It screws directly to the front of the PT housing. It is advised to use Silicone Grease for PT Series Underwater Housings on the lens threads prior to attaching. I bought in 2016 in Malaysia, used on two housings (PT-056 for Olympus Tough 4 and PT-EP12 for Olympus Pen 7). I will give as well the step-down ring 67mm to 52mm. I have attached a few photos taken in November last year (Sipadan). Everything is good condition, it was still used recently. A few micro-scratches on the front lens which do not affect the quality of the images. I have modified the caps so it can be used with a lanyard. Original invoice provided but not the box. Shipping at buyer's costs. Visible in Paris area in France (Boulogne-Billancourt). Price: 300 EUR + shipping costs (if any) Cheers, G.

  6. I recently traveled to Raja Ampat on a 12 day liveaboard on the MV Ambai. I took my sony camcorder in a bluefin housing for macro, a GoPro4 for wide angle and a Phantom 3 for drone footage. This was the first time using a GoPro and it turned out pretty well. Although it required more post correction. It was nice to be able to shoot wide and macro on all dives. This was truly a bucket list fulfilling trip! Here's the completed video. Comments and critiques are welcome!

  11. 12. Does anyone have experience with the Sony FE 28mm f/2 underwater? I am looking for an a7II setup and would like to pair it with this lens + a Nauticam WWL-1.
  13. I am planning to add a secondary camera - a modded gopro with a 100°FOV (narrower than stock) lens - to my gear. To avoid the flat port issues, I am seeking a wide converter - first to provide nice corner IQ then to restore FOV. Which wide converter shall I try? Inon has a gopro-specific unit (UFL-G140) but that is only available with SD-bayonet which seems to be impossible to mount on my 3rd party aluminium housing. Besides, the UFL-G140 is obviously designed for the stock lens, I don't know what it would do with a narrower one.

  17. Hi, fellow u/w photographers. I recently sold my Recsea/FIX S90 metal housing to a friend who doesn't need the two wet lenses I had, so they're available at half the retail price. I bought them from Backscatter and they're both in excellent condition. Here's a link to some sample shots. I took all of the wides and macro shots in the first two sets (Little Cayman and Grand Cayman, and Yap) with these lenses and the Canon S90: www.flickr.com/photos/firststage.sets The UWL-04 ultra wide (weitwinkel) Angle Fisheye comes with a 67/52 mm adapter so it can be attached to any port that accepts either of those sizes. It has a 165 degree field of view. The FIX Easy Close Up 2 Element macro set screws into 52 mm threads so that both of its lenses can be swung out of the way when not in use, or swung in front of the lens individually or together for super-macro shots. Either one will fit in the Inon lens holder "caddy" that attaches to a standard Ultralight Control Systems arm. The UWL-04 currently sells for $425. It's yours with the adapter for $200. The Easy Closeup 2-element lens set originally sold for $200. It's yours for $100. The Inon Lens Holder/Caddy originally cost $64. I'll sell it for $32. Prices are firm, and payment is accepted via PayPal only. I'll cover ground UPS or USPS shipping within the USA. If you're overseas, please tell me how you'd like things shipped and I'll send you a quote for actual shipping costs. Thanks for looking!
