MikeVeitch 0 Posted October 20, 2005 Didn't arrive till about 9pm and i was already well into the beers so won't be trying it out in the morning... However, i did open the box (the case and housing a whopping 56 pounds!) It is in there, will check it out in the afternoon and do a leak test etc... Oooo new toys and big credit card bills... Can't wait to test and give a run down M
pmooney 6 Posted October 20, 2005 Go steady - it's a process the first time you get the monster wet. Tip - " no diopter - wide port " will get the best result out of the bag assuming you will chase the bats first up... Only thing to worry about is pushing out a notch past wide so you will not have vignetting issues. Enjoy the beast -it's amazingly bouyant. Mike - did you see that Sam WON the pygmy seahorse contest outright. Not bad for someone that not diving anymore. Best Peter
wagsy 0 Posted October 21, 2005 Mike, you have at last got it, well done. Get yourself some internal macro diopters to put on the top flip arm, works a treat. I have a set +1, +2 and +4. They should of come standard I recond. You will find that on normal dives you will not need the URPRO filter in anyhow. Also at 60 meters you may find one of the flip arms will jam. Vignetting is a bummer but I just edit it out. Apart form that, the housing is a good one, done a ton of dives now with mine and busy editing our fist HDV DVD. Enjoy Wags
