Maui Steve 0 Posted November 8, 2005 Hi all, This is my first post. I have recently purchased a Nikon Coolpix 4100 and was wondering if anyone has purchased this model and housed it in the Ikelite housing and how satisfied you are with you performance / photos? Elli and Ted 0 Posted November 8, 2005 Hi Steve, They are good little cameras but you have to hold it really still because they are very lite and have a long delay with the shutter, they also drink up the batteries if you flash all, I try to do everything without it. the pic's when sharp are super, sorry I dont know anything about your Ikelite UW case. Have a nice dive and don't forget to put the chipcard in the camera wooops I forgot to say they are great in makro.
Maui Steve 0 Posted November 9, 2005 Thank you. Are you using the Nikon housing with your 4100 by any chance?
Elli and Ted 0 Posted December 4, 2005 Sorry we took so long to answer. we do use a nikon WP-CP1 case and its not bad, you can use all the nobs, switches and buttons or what ever, its just like using the camera but feels a bit bigger, like I said, keep it still when you take photos, or hang a brick under it. have fun .by the way take alook at our first attempts with uw photos. For all the clever ones out there yes wir used (played with) PShop http://www.taucher.net/photos/photo3153/ta...II_Spanien.html http://www.taucher.net/photos/photo2192/ta...I_Aegypten.html
