Scubajack 0 Posted November 21, 2005 I, unfortunately, made the mistake a few years ago and bought a Jonah Housing for my Canon 10D. Jonah has now gone out of business and I am stuck. This might be a fruitless effort, but: 1. Does anyone know where I can get spare parts for the Jonah housing? O-rings, etc.? Maybe a warehouse or some store with spare parts? 2. Does anyone know of a shop that will service/fix the housing in the unlucky (especially now that they are out of business!) event that I have a problem or a flood? Thanks. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

mattdiver 0 Posted November 22, 2005 It appears that they are still active, having just released a housing for the 20D. Here's a link to their dealer's network: http://www.jonah.co.kr/edealer.htm Good luck, Mat
Scubajack 0 Posted November 22, 2005 I thought they were up and running as well but Underwater Photo Tech dropped them about a year ago and when I called Ocean Brite (one of there USA contacts) they confirmed that they dropped them as well about a year ago and cannot find any more replacement parts because the owner of Jonah passed away and the company went under. I am hoping Woody may be able to help me out. Other than him, I don't know of anywhere else to turn...I was hoping someone here might have a few suggestions. Thanks
mattdiver 0 Posted November 22, 2005 It's a bit far from where you are, but you could try the Singapore dealer (McHale Song, of Oceanic Focus). Spoke to him recently, and he's very helpful, and could probably get you the spare parts, at least.

james 0 Posted September 11, 2006 Hello Prof Kim - good to hear from you and that you still stand by with support for the Jonah housings. In my business (offshore engineering) we are working with many Korean companies (DSME, SMI, etc) and they improve each year and now make excellent products. I'd be delighted to lend advice if you're interested in hearing what's currently popular for underwater use. Cheers James Wiseman
