Christmas / New Years trips

Recommended Posts

I'll start this off.

I will be in Sunny Cairns FNQ - diving the Coral Sea intermittently for all of December then head off to Sorong Indonesia around the 5th of January to meet the boat and then head for Rajah Ampat for a 3 week cruise.

If any wetpixellian are coming through sunny old Cairns I would be only too happy to play host / local knowledge provider etc. ( I might even have a bit of pull in a bar or three - purely for refreshment purposes only )

Cheers

Peter

We are going somewhere, but I don't know where. Originally a group of six heading for Coz, but thanks to the hurrincane, our flight is cancelled and our hotel destroyed. Sooo,

four members of the group have decided not to go anywhere.

Now, we are trying to get to Dominica or St. Vincent. Bad news is it takes just as long to get there and back from Dallas as it does to Tokyo.

Hmmm, maybe we should go to Tokyo.

pmooney we may take you up on that. I think we get into Cairns on Dec. 15th, just for 1night, staying at the Coral Tree Inn. On our way to PNG to do the Mike Ball 10day Milne Bay trip.

We'll be in Singapore, Bali and Wakatobi to do a bit of shopping and diving till December 15th, not quite Christmas but close enough for me.

Happy Thanksgiving (if you celebrate it that is)

I'll be in Raja Empat over 5-24 January (on the same boat as Todd (Yahsemtough), and home in Bali until then, if anyone is coming through.

Ha! You rub Larry's stomach, I just follow him around u/w and shoot whatever he finds, which is usually something pretty amazing.

Give my regards to Tim R., and have a good Christmas and safe diving!

I'm looking at the Red Sea for the first time..Maybe Sharm, maybe Hurghada..?? Or if I can get it cheap enough a liveaboard down south.

Anybody out there with some gems of wisdom ???

i am doing a liveaboard out of marsa alam, grand sea serpent, it's not the cheapest in the red sea, but does all the south places like Deadelus, Rocky, Zabagad & St Johns.

Guest Rfrimel

Majahual, Mexico. Anybody heard of it or been there? It'll be my first time there, so I am taking suggestions on what to do or see.

You all have fun.
