martys 0 Posted December 6, 2005 There was a link in someone's post here I read recently that had a pointer to photos and a short article on how to pack two roller carry on's with two complete u/w rigs. I've tried using search but there are too many hits. Does any know where to find this link or article on wetpixel? thanks, Marty
Rocha 0 Posted December 6, 2005 Marty, I know exactly what the topic is, but can't find it either. Let's wait and see if the original poster reads this! Luiz
dmoss 0 Posted December 9, 2005 That post may have been in the San Juan airport thread, which has temporarily been removed. I remember seeing several packing tips and diagrams in there when it was active.

acroporas 0 Posted December 9, 2005 Is this what you are looking for? from the now hidden San Juan Thread: I wrote a little article on our own carry-on setup at http://www.mvpix.com/photographers/archive...ing-setups.html. I have a large StormCase iM2975 case that I use on location to secure equipment. I'd packed only our rinse tanks, wetsuits, and a few ports in it, thinking no one would steal just a bunch of ports. Well, I was wrong. :-) Next time, I'll pack only the rinse tanks, wetsuits, fins, and other neoprene stuff in it. The ports will go into our regular suitcases. Here's a little article I wrote on our use of the iM2975: http://www.mvpix.com/photographers/archive...n-location.html. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

jsmoriss 0 Posted October 9, 2006 YES! That's the one. Thanks a lot! Marty, Here's an update: http://www.mvpix.com/photographers/archive...yon-review.html I had to get something bigger than the StormCase carry-ons to fit the 8" dome ports. I've got pretty much everything I need now -- 3 lengths for the 8" and a flat macro port, plus all the substrobe arms for them. I _do_ check a spare substrobe and some buoyant ULCS arms though. I whish I could carry-on that (5th) spare substrobe, but I just don't see how/where it would fit... :-) LateR! js.
